My bf and I had one of our first dates at the Burbank location and didn't even know they had a Glendale location! We had other plans for the day but one of them didn't happen so we ended up trying this location. We sat down almost immediately. It was a VERY hot day and unfortunately the air flow wasn't great inside. Idk if their AC was broken or just too hot in general that it wasn't cool at all inside. They have a nice patio area but we sat inside thinking it would be cooler. The waitress took our order and food came out pretty quick. Food quality is great, just like their other location. I always love their strawberry, banana, Nutella crepe so I went for that while my bf got the club sandwich. I honestly like this location much better since it's bigger and more spread out! I think the only issue may be parking? We parked a few blocks down and had to pay at a meter so I'm not sure if they have their own lot or anything. Came here for brunch. The pancakes are fluffy, delicious, and so sweet they clearly have a dangerous amount it sugar. The chili burrito is low on chili and very heavy on the eggs. It's the worst kind of breakfast burrito that showcases scrambled eggs as its dominant ingredient. read more

For the location, I'm surprised I found street parking! You can also try the paid Parking lot across the street, if anything. There was a slight wait, no more than 15 min on a Saturday at brunch time, and the place was fullllllll! The food was decent. I wouldn't say it was anything super special, but then again I did order a salad. The host who seated us was polite, as was our server, but I've got to make a comment about another server. She was called over by the table next to me, and they asked if she could bring them some hot sauce. This girl turned around to my table, took our hot sauce and placed it on our neighbor's table. She didn't ask us or tell us that she was doing it, and it took us all by surprise. And you want to know the crazy thing? It happened AGAIN. Yes, a second time, but with a different table. Overall a solid brunch spot in Glendale! We got here right before 10:30am on Memorial Day and waited about 15 minutes before we got seated (they have indoor and outdoor seating as well as bar seating). We got the Robin's Benedict (has bacon and chicken breast) as well as the green tea monster. Robin's Benedict was pretty decent and we just wish the toasted muffin underneath is a bit more chewy. The green tea monster is a hit and a lot of tables ordered it - it has a green tea flavor that is noticeable but not overly strong. Overall, the pancakes are not super sweet, which was perfect for our taste and you can always add more syrup if you want it on the sweeter side. The pancake portion is pretty big! Pretty decent brunch spot and do expect some wait since there's always a line! read more

Bea Bea's is one of my occasional regular breakfast spots. Usually I go around 1ish and I never wait more than 5-10 minutes. The food is good and while the prices might be a little higher than others, the range of variety/flavors make up for it. I love being able to try different pancake and french toast flavors. There is definitely a menu item for everyone no matter what they are craving for breakfast. This is a very fast paced place so don't expect one on one time with a server. Multiple staff will help you i.e. refill waters, clean your table, bring you food. I love that they have seating outside as well as a bar top for individual dining. read more

We opted for something unusual, the Bea Bea's stuffed Pancake. We like burritos, right? Same concept but all the yum yums are in a pancake! Egg, cheddar & ham cooked in a pancake... 2 actually, so this is a great dish to share! Get here early. We arrived at 9:15 and were first on the patio with our dog. By 9:45 the whole restaurant was packed with just a few seats at the counter. I noticed a lady with a teeny tiny dog on her lap at the counter. Very Euro! Came for Sunday brunch at around 10AM and it was already pretty packed but there were still some spots at the bar. The ambiance was nice, I liked how there was good lighting at the restaurant. I really wanted to try their pancakes because of their huge selection of different flavor pancakes so we got the pancake flight with the selection of Thai tea, matcha, and black sesame along with their egg's benedict. The pancakes came in good portion and definitely something you can share. Their pancakes were really light and fluffy! I personally liked the Thai tea and matcha pancakes but the black sesame was disappointing. Black sesame pancake tasted sour which is confusing because black sesame doesn't taste sour and I'm not sure if the sourness came from the coconut though I never tasted a sour coconut before either. It wasn't bad because you can taste the black sesame but it wasn't something I enjoyed eating. The egg's benedict was good and had good portion size however the egg was slightly overcooked so it wasn't runny at all. Though the egg was overcooked, it was the only downside and I still enjoyed the dish overall. Bea Bea's is a good spot and I would come back but I'll skip on the black sesame pancake next time and try something else. read more

Reliably good breakfast. The menu has tons of options so you're sure to please any palate. Everything I've ever had has been really tasty. Service is very quick here. It's always busy and it's clear that they work hard to ensure timely turnover of tables. It's a good place to go for a party of two or a big group. First time here and we were pretty excited! We came for bridal dresses early in the morning and we were looking up places for brunch. The person assisting us recommended Bea Bea's! So we were actually seated real quick, there were a lot of people already and even bigger parties outside, so that was a nice surprise. The restrooms are a little dirtier than expected, but it's all private and unisex so that's nice to know. The service we got was really great! Almost every single one of them was friendly and helpful. Especially the main girl who took our order. However, there was this one Asian guy in a brownish/pink shirt who was actually kind of rude to us. He brought us the wrong omelette with jalapeños and something else. We told him that it wasn't correct, but he gave attitude and said it was. We looked at the other plates and we said yes, the other ones are correct, but not that omelette. He goes but this one goes with all of these. We repeat it again, and someone else brings out the correct omelette now. And he just walks away. That kind of left a bad feeling, but everything else was pretty good. Eggs were runny as they should be. Potatoes were great. But the French toast croissant was the best thing we had there. Highly recommend. Besides that one guy, everyone and everything was great! I'd give a 9/10. read more

Been coming to Bea Beas since it opened in Glendale. Prior to that, would go to the one in Burbank. Here you have the option to eat indoors or outdoors, which is nice to have options for breakfast/brunch. Service is generally quick, with servers getting to you shortly after getting seated. You can find long ish waits on the weekends, so go early unless you want to Wait for over a half hour. Now, the menu is huge and I don't know how the people in the kitchen put out all of these different orders, but they do. I'd almost say it's comparable in size to Cheesecake factory. Today, being that there is a hurricane overhead, we ate inside and started with some hot chocolate which was very tasty. The Loco Moco is also tasty, if you're into hamburger patty, rice, gravy and a sunny side to egg. The Spicy chicken wrap comes with avocado and it's really nice, not too heavy. The onion rings can definitely create that heaviness, so it's good to just eat half and take the rest home. Pro tip, if you want breakfast and really want to try one of their specialty pancakes/waffles/French toast but don't want to overload on all that sweet stuff, order the Pooh's Sunrise. You get your choice of eggs, hash browns, choice of meat and a side of any pancake, waffle or French toast you want, so you can still try it but in a smaller order. Thank me later. Really solid breakfast food at Bea Bea's. Lots for everyone with some incredible yet not consistent French toast (the Oh Em Gee French toast) and a nearly unbelievable selection of crepes, pancakes, and egg dishes. Menus are via QR code but they do have them via hard copy if asked for. Service is so-so - we've been twice now; not necessarily mega warm and friendly but they get the job done and it's pretty quick service. The main negative: I was very dissatisfied that my nearly $18 French toast (again, the OMG) was two meager heels of a loaf; each piece had a nice (and extremely tasty!) moist middle but the edges were definitely on the dry side. For that price I was expecting a lot more; our first visit here my husband had the same plate that was far bigger, juicier pieces (and not two heels!). Conversely, my husband's French toast that he had on the side of his bacon and eggs the very same day was far more moist, so consistency is an issue. FYI if you're into match lattes their matcha mix is uber mega pre-sweetened. Pancakes are super fluffy and fresh but not very sweet - could be a pro or con? Ambiance inside - music is lots of 2000s top 100s throwbacks which is, comforting I suppose? for a millennial. Decor is non-existent, making the restaurant a bit on the sterile side. All in all - great food but that lack of consistency in an expensive plate of food does dock it 1.5-2 stars. read more

Bea Bea's is a no no. The eggs came out cold. The OG French toast barely had flavor. The tater tots were obviously frozen refried. The bacon was delicious. As was the house latte. The servers need to learn a little professionalism, the sweatshirt off the shoulder is cute with friends but shows sloppiness in a professional setting. There was no offer of ketchup or salsa just dump and run. It was a grossly inferior experience. But we ate everything because we were hungry so I'll give a 3 instead of a 2. The Bad: Where do I start lol. In addition to waiting almost 30 minutes for our food, (it was not busy) our omelette and frittata was cold, my hash browns was soggy, the toast was hard, the sun-dried tomatoes in the frittata was hard and very dry, the oat wheat pancake had a strong stench of eggs, and the condiments were soiled. This feedback is for the cook/chef. Maybe they forgot about our food and it was just sitting there for a while. The Good: our server was apologetic and pleasant. Your entire party has to be present to be seated. Here's what we had: GREEN TEA MONSTER - $18.95 Matcha green tea pancakes, green tea mascarpone, white chocolate chips & whipped cream. For all you matcha lovers out there, this was really good. You DO taste the matcha which balances out the sweetness. I don't recall any white chocolate chips but maybe that's the sweet part. Comes with syrup, just not sure if it's real maple. BOO'S BERRIES & BANANAS WAFFLES - $17.95 Large 2x2 thick and crispy waffles, topped with sliced strawberries, bananas, and blueberries, sprinkled with powdered sugar. SO GOOD. Also very shareable since you can section them into 4 pieces. CRAB CAKES BENEDICTS - $25.95 Poached eggs, homemade crab cakes on English muffin topped with hollandaise sauce served with breakfast potatoes. Funny how this dish was "garnished" with a sliced tomato, but everything was really good. I can see why this place is a popular one. I've been here multiple times, but my last visit was ridiculous. I waited almost an hour after ordering my food while the tables next to me who ordered 10-30 minutes after I did were served before me. The waiter kept passing by my table while delivering food to others and never once checked in. When I finally asked what was going on and explained I was running late for a meeting, he had an attitude and showed zero sympathy. Don't know what was this guys problem... Eventually, the person who originally took my order brought my food and blamed a "backed up" kitchen, which didn't add up given what I saw. I was in LA visiting friends and we were looking for a cute brunch spot close to our hotel. We happened to find Bea Bea's and it was not a super long wait at all! We were seated on the outdoor patio which was absolutely beautiful, and even the inside looked super cute as well. Our wait staff was really nice and helped with recommendations. I had an iced chai which was so good and I loved all the spices. For food, I split the pancake flight (it's off-menu so shoutout Yelp for letting us know you can order a flight to sample 3 kinds of pancakes) and the southwest scramble with hashbrowns. For the pancake flight, we got the green tea matcha pancakes, the seasonal pancake special, and the lemon ricotta. I loved all 3 but the green tea and lemon ricotta ones were my favorite!! Our hotel was a short walk from here and we were looking for brunch on an easy Sunday and stumbled upon this. We had a part of 6 and we were seated in 5 minutes which was awesome!! The wait staff were all really nice and patient. To start, I got a pumpkin spice latte with almond milk which was GIANT and so delicious!!! Could not recommend the coffee drinks more here. For the main, a friend and I split the pancake flight and this southwest scramble with hasbrowns. First time coming back here in like over a year and today's experience was terrible. The host was lovely when we got there. We sat down and got our drinks. The girl who took our drink order said our server will be with us shortly. We sat for more than 20 mins seeing other tables get their orders taken. When our server finally got to us, we asked if she could give us a moment if we still wanted to stay to eat or leave since it took a while to get our orders taken and she said in a rude passive aggressive way "oh kay" and walked away without even looking or reassuring us. You'll need to take your chance with street parking or pay for the public lot across the street. Their food is good but I dislike their menu. They have soooo many items on their menu so some pictures or even flagging their signature/popular items would have helped but if you're here, you're smart and looking at Yelp pictures and reviews. This is how I found out they do a pancake sampler where you can pick three flavors for a bit over 1/3 of a single order of pancakes. - Green Tea Monster pancakes: My favorite of the bunch. Fluffy pancakes with a decent green tea flavor. - Luna's Lemon Ricotta pancakes: Really good too. A close second to my favorite. The tart lemon flavor is delicious. The pancakes were thinner not sure if by design. - Thai Tea Pancakes: I'd skip this. Bea Bea's has such a wide selection of choices to choose from it was a bit difficult to decide looking at all the options on the menu. We ultimately decided on sharing a Corned Beef Hash Egg and a Pancake Trio between 2 people. Luckily, the portions were generous and this was enough to fill the both of us. The Corned Beef Hash wasn't anything new but still was solid. The pancakes were great since they let you choose between several different flavors and were adequately sized you wouldn't get too tired of eating too much of one pancake. We chose the Thai Tea, Green Tea, and Lemon Ricotta. By far the Green Tea was the most flavorful and delicious. Lemon Ricotta was pretty good too, but the Thai Tea was our least favorite since it kind of just felt dry and not really tasting much like Thai Tea. Did feel like it was somewhat better after drenching in syrup. We came on a Saturday morning around 10 and got seated right away, but by the time we were leaving, there was a pretty substantial line waiting out the door. Not any parking in the front of the restaurant with most of the main street having meter parking only accepting coins (which we unfortunately did not have any of). Luckily, there was 2 hour street parking a little further down on the residential areas. Servers were all nice and the seating was relaxing even though it was a pretty full house. Delicious breakfast spot that has a fun Asian twist on their pancakes! I ordered the trio (off menu) where you get to choose 3 flavors. I got Thai tea, black sesame, and matcha. You can't really taste the Thai tea, but the black sesame and matcha are great! They also have flavored cream on the pancake, so it's overall pretty sweet. Make sure to bring friends when you come here so you can try many flavors as one dish is probably good enough for 2 to 3 people. If you are looking for a drink, I would stay away from the coffees. The coffee tasted old and bitter. I sadly had to give it back as it was just not good at all. Shout out to the waiter who was very kind and understanding. I recommend getting coffee across the street from Ideology if you want coffee. I will say that their match latte is very good! What makes a great restaurant? Food is the obvious answer but I would argue that service is just as integral. People come for the food and return because of the service. That is why I will not be returning to Bea Bea's in Glendale (can't speak for the other location in Burbank). The server that we flagged down refused to serve us because they were "not in charge of us." He (Gary), was in charge of the table in front and behind but not us. He didn't even offer to get our correct server. Even after trying to get his attention, he flat out ignored my fiancé. Even if the food is decent, the customer service simply ruins the overall appetite. Having worked in a restaurant, I understand that there are different spaces you are in charge of as a server but that is never an excuse for terrible customer service. After reading other reviews, I know that this isn't the first time this has happened and yet seems to still be an issue. I'm very disappointed. read more

Headed to Bea Bea's for a weekend brunch with a group of 8 and boy was it busy! However despite the many parties ahead of us, we were seated within about 15-20 minutes! The menu is quite extensive but allows so many modifications (i.e. make it special, where you can sub a flavored French toast or pancake, etc.) It was quite busy but our server did the best she could to get all of our food out on time. When it comes to the food... - Green Tea Monster Pancakes: good for food pics but definitely too sweet for me - Annie's Crazy Bread: portion size was great, heavy on the peanut butter as expected! - Gourmet Chili Omelet: this one surprised me!
