I'll refrain from commenting too much on the chicken this time since I was unable to eat it fresh and it got a little cold/stale. This time I felt like the golden garlic was not very garlicky and tasted quite similar to the original crispy. Bulgogi poutine was fire though, there's no skimping on meat and the flavors work really well together. After getting the opportunity to try bb.q during the Yelp Elite Month a few months ago, I was craving the honey garlic wings again. Since I liked their honey garlic wings so much, I haven't tried the other flavors yet... but their wings are perfectly crispy, tender, and the honey garlic flavor is delicious. It's more sweet than it is savory (at least for this flavor) and the garlic flavor isn't too strong. The batter is light and crispy. Fries are just okay, but the portion is massive. Even with not a ton of customers, their chicken takes quite a bit to come out. It does taste super fresh though, so the wait is worth it! I also love their rose Ddeok-Bokki and I think adding cheese on top (+$2) is the move. It makes the rose sauce even creamier and adds a yummy tang. Rice cakes were perfectly chewy. I do think their prices are a bit steep for the portion size, especially in terms of the chicken, but it's really good. One thing I wanted to mention, I wish bb.q allowed for making 2 flavors for the medium size. We got two smalls instead which was a little bit more than 1 medium. This place is one of the few chicken places that I prefer the boneless chicken. The chicken pieces are always so big (compared to bonchon), crunchy exterior and moist inside. We got the spicy galbi and soy garlic. The soy garlic is forever my favorite here, it is super tasty and yummy, gets a tiny bit too salty but that can be fixed with some rice. The spicy galbi was not my favorite, I didn't like the smoky after taste. The spice and flavor was good though and my boyfriend did like them. The rose tteokbokki is a creamier and less spicy version of the traditional tteokbokki, so yummy and creamier if you add cheese!
