Boneless Wings - Soy Garlic
Jess B.

We ordered the soy garlic wings, and the whole experience was really smooth from start to finish. Our order was ready quickly, and the staff were super friendly and efficient when we picked it up. Everything was packed really well, and the wings were still crispy by the time we got home, which is always a big plus. Overall, a solid spot for takeout. Would definitely order from here again.

Ordered to go & I swear the chicken is so juicy. So flavorful. I love the pickled sides, especially with the tteokbokki.

I placed an online order for pickup and received the ready confirmation 4 minutes after. They are QUICK! The online ordering system is really easy but I'm not sure if the lunch specials are on there. I ordered the $18.99 8 piece honey garlic chicken wings. I grabbed some gloves and ate in the car. The flavor was delicious. The meat was hot and moist. The pieces are decently big. I was satisfied after 4 wings. The inside is casual with plenty of clean tables and chairs.

The honey garlic had a nice sweetness, while the soy garlic brought a savory, slightly salty taste. But because of the sauce, the wings were a bit wet, so the outside did not have a crispy and crunchy texture. Wait time was about 20 minutes, which felt longer than expected considering it wasn't too busy.

Spicy Galbi

Wings were really good. They had a nice, light, crispy batter. They were sauced heavier than a glaze but not drenched. Our favorites were the Honey Garlic and Soy Garlic. The Spicy Galbi was a little disappointing. Cole Slaw was basic. Other than that everything was great. Server was attentive and helpful. I highly recommend trying this place out. Surprised they get less than 4 stars.

Fries, Ramen and Half & Half Wings

When we walked in we were a little confused. Usually we go to bonchon and they immediately ask you if you want to sit or order, the person behind the counter was quiet and I think maybe we were both confused, nonetheless we sat down and ordered from the QR code. The plaza is BUSY! There are so many good food options here but we came for the fried chicken, since I had been to a different location and wanted to take my parents here. They loved it! The plum soju was chilled and opened for us, they even brought out the shot glasses. Our food was prepped quickly and none of our order was messed up. It was quiet on the day we went but I can imagine closer to 6/7pm more people trickle in. While we loved the flavors my boyfriend and I found ourselves still missing Bonchon. But I would say bb.q is a close second and we will be back. Great customer service, clean and quick!

This location is amazing. It's huge in space, clean, and they're quick. First off, I like that I have the option to make my purchase through a QR code on my table rather than up at the front. I really wish the Sunnyvale location was like this. We ordered their honey garlic wings which are always on point. Something different we tried was their Alfredo fettuccine. This was pretty decent and tasted more like sharp aged white cheese pasta rather than Alfredo sauce. I actually like it and would definitely order this again. Overall, I really like this location and will always come back. I can't wait to try new items on the menu again but of course I'll always have my cup of rice and chicken on deck.

Wowow! Just like from the Korean drama Crash Landing on You :) The korean fried chicken here was the perfect crunch plus the meat inside was surprisingly juicy. We ordered the soy garlic and the golden original - both were great choices.

Soy garlic and the ddeok with sausage! So yummy, we came on a Thursday dinner and we placed an order online. We highly recommend doing that because they take a while to make the food. Service was great they gave us everything we needed and never really needed to talk to them. It is normally pretty empty, too bad there was construction going on because it was extremely loud. It's good if you are craving some chicken as it was very delicious! Can never go wrong with bbq chicken

Cute little Korean wings place with spacious and neat interior. There are ample parkings surrounding the store. Their wings, Ddeok-bokki, and fried rices are very flavorful and of generous portion. We came in as a big group of 15 people and the staff quickly put together a table large enough to accommodate all of us. You can either scan the QR code on the table to order or order with the staff. Our dishes came out quickly. All the utensils, clear gloves, chopsticks, ketchup pouches and daikons were generously provided. Overall, reasonable price and nice service. I took off one star because they didn't have water for us that day. We were told that their water machine was broken.

Cheesling wings

My son was craving the fries. Ordered cheesling fries and wings via QR code on the door. Received order confirmation via text. Checked out a few neighboring businesses. Got text that order was ready. In and out in a flash. Fries were crunchy and tasty. Wings were awesome! Crispy and flavorful.

Spicy galbi chicken wings
Vanaja U.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here, I tried the spicy galbi wings and kimchi fried rice. I was pleasantly surprised by the kimchi fried rice, it had a deeper flavor than most kimchi fried rice I've tried. Radish is good as always. The wings themselves were juicy, crispy and well coated in the spicy galbi sauce. Even though it was considered "spicy" it wasn't really spicy for me and my friends. Their menu has a lot more options ranging from pasta to rice cakes. There are several flavors that sounds delicious, but its a bummer you can only select one flavor for the piece meals. You can order from your phone by scanning the QR code at the table. Overall a good experience!

Service was fast and food was good as usual. Chicken was a bit dry tho, I guess it always depends on when you ordered it.

You'll have to wait at least thirty minutes unless you get there extremely early. My party of nine was seated around 45 minutes after we first joined the waitlist. However, we were able to order our food ahead of time. The atmosphere of the restaurant was bustling and noisy, a super fun and casual spot. Our dishes arrived minutes after we sat down, which was impressive. There was also a variety of delicious side dishes, with various types of kimchi. The nine of us split two braised beef short rib dishes - and we were struggling to finish it all. The portion size is massive, which makes sense since it's a pretty penny. The meat was so tender, literally falling off the bone. There were a ton of potatoes, daikon, rice cake, and carrots as well. The entire dish was savory and delicious, pairing perfectly with rice. You can also specify your spice level. The medium spice was a fair amount of spice but not overpowering. I highly recommend getting the cheese on top, it provides a creamy contrast to the sharp flavors of the meat. I'm still thinking about the braised beef short rib - it was just that delicious!

The short ribs were incredibly tender, practically falling off the bone, and the sauce was rich, savory, and deeply flavorful. The melted cheese on top added a creamy, indulgent layer that made the dish even more satisfying. Service was great--friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but it adds to the cozy and intimate dining atmosphere.

The banchan variety is actually really good, which is a highlight for me, though the kimchi isn't my favorite. My personal go-tos are the Korean jelly (muk muchim), broccoli, tomato, and macaroni salad. I'd honestly come back just for the banchan spread. That said, for the price, the main dishes are just okay. One big plus: they serve purple rice, which I always appreciate. Service has been very hit or miss. Sometimes they're friendly and accommodating, but my last visit really threw me off. We asked for a refill on the muk muchim, and our server said they were "sold out"... but then the table next to us was immediately served it. I'd honestly rather they just say no than give an excuse like that.. it left a bad impression and made the experience feel off. A few thoughts on the dishes: * Budae Jjigae - A bit bland for my taste, heavy on kimchi and light on meats like spam, sausage, and bacon. * Galbitang - Light yet flavorful, with 3 large rib bones that had a good amount of meat. Comes with glass noodles, rice cakes, and thin egg strips * Japchae - Not complimentary here (you have to order it), but it's actually pretty good. * Seafood tofu soup - Just okay, nothing too memorable. * Galbi - Flavorful and reliable--can't go wrong, especially with purple rice. * Mul Naengmyeon - Refreshing and well done. * Seafood pancake - Crispy, not overly oily, and packed with seafood and green onions. * Bibimbap - Loved the crispy rice at the bottom, though the beef portion was a bit small. * Yukgaejang - Decent, but not as rich or flavorful as other spots. Overall, I'd say this place shines most in its banchan variety and comfortable dining space, but the inconsistency in both food and service makes it a bit harder to fully recommend

We tried a few of their dishes but my family was so hungry, I couldn't take a picture fast enough of everything. Haha Tried their whole batch of soy garlic chicken wings. It was cooked well but the outside coating tasted a little overcooked and not as much flavor in the chicken or seasoning. The glaze was not enough. That was a little disappointing for me. Also had their mushroom tofu soup which was added from a combo meal with grilled pork or called Dwae Ji Bulgogi. This was good. Ordered their Galbi short ribs was my favorite. Their seafood pancake was big and crispy. We also had their grilled spicy pork Bulgogi. This was ok, not too spicy but it was more like shredded pork and not a big portion. Actually, for the portion for the meat was pretty expensive to me. Everything now is getting more expensive and smaller portions. We didn't drink alcohol so I can image how much this would be. Our party only ordered 1 soda. We ordered enough and everything was finished or my husband didn't want to leave any food. This was located in Milpitas so if in the area, I would like to try it again. Wait a few minutes and let the rice cook more because the stone bowl is still hot. lift up the bottom until you see crunchy bits and then you could start mixing. Excellent mix of seasoned vegetables and rice. They give you the gochujang bottle sauce on the side. you can adjust it to your level. Soon Tofu Soup 5/5. I've had a lot of tofu soup of what I like about this one is that it had a good balance of tofu, kimchi was not super sour like some restaurants and they give you an egg on the side. Very clean finish. Banchan 5/5: The highlight for me was the banchan. I went with a very picky eater friend and she really loved the kimchi ,the cucumber kimchi ,the fish cakes, japchae. They put a lot of effort into making the banchan - which I recognize right away. They also fill up if you run out and the dishes are larger than normal restaurants. Amazing. You read my mind. Interior 4/5: It is a smaller, more intimate seating.( about 25-30 people) . It still has the vibes of of a Korean eatery with K-pop music playing on the TV screen, wooden benches and chairs. Plenty of tofu and a generous amount of beef. I also loved all the sides they included along with a bowl of rice. Every side dish was delicious, but the kimchi especially stood out. Honestly some of the best kimchi I've had in a long time. The portion was enough for both my daughter and I to share, though that's probably because we're both sick and couldn't eat too much. My daughter also loved the galbijjim. On our third visit, we arrived right at 5 PM and were told they would open shortly because the cook was on lunch. We waited until 5:20 and they still weren't serving, so we ended up leaving. Our most recent visit was the last straw. They only offered two types of banchan (not even kimchi), and they were out of all dishes that included meat or beef. It was surprising for a Korean restaurant to not have Korean BBQ or short ribs available. My seafood tofu soup barely had any seafood, and I had to point out to the waiter that there was no shrimp at all. He later returned with a cheap frozen seafood mix and said they use a seafood mix, which was disappointing considering the higher quality seafood they used to serve (including head-on shrimp). They also did not serve the usual purple rice this time -- instead we were given dry white rice that seemed reheated. There was only one server handling all the tables and cleaning, so service was slow. It's disappointing because the quality used to be much better. Based on our recent experiences, we will not be returning anytime soon.
