Chicken wings 5/5 - These were SUPER CRUNCHY and served piping hot. Crispy cod and shrimp burger 4/5 - This came with 2 big shrimp atop a crispy cod fillet. Overall 3.5/5 - I think it's kinda pricey and they have a specific schedule. I've walked by this restaurant a few times and it seemed like they were always closed. I finally got to try it this time, but were also told they were gonna close in 30mins. read more

I stopped by here after a trip to miniso. The photos on the outside looked good so I went inside to check it out. The place was small, you order at the counter with the cashier. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. The cashier told me it'll be a 10 minute wait so I went outside to wait. The cashier was really sweet, she came to look for me when the sandwich was done. The chicken was fresh, it was piping hot when I got it. The sandwich also had some iceberg lettuce and some sauce on it. Unfortunately the chicken was really stringy, probably overcooked, and the iceberg lettuce was kind of bitter. The chicken was rubbery, so it was hard to eat. If I'm in the area again I might order something else to give them a try again! I liked the cashier, she was nice. read more

I've always side‑eyed this spot whenever I'm next door grabbing Chicha San Chen but hesitated due to never seeing anyone in there. The food photos alone never quite explained why it has such light foot traffic--and honestly, after finally stopping in, I'm even more puzzled, because the food is good. Maybe it's missing that immediate grab‑you factor, but my experience was solid. I ordered the double pepper chicken leg burger, and the chicken itself is the star: crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and deeply savory. While I personally wished it packed more heat, the execution was spot‑on. The bun, however, felt a bit forgettable, and the sauce leaned heavily into Thousand Island territory...fine, but not particularly distinctive. All that said, it's better than the crowd suggests. With a little more personality, this place could easily pull more attention its way. read more

We went at noon on a Friday afternoon and it was empty. You order at the front cashier and then they bring the food to your table. One thing I was kind of disappointed was that they charge you for bottled water and have no tap water available for free. I ended up getting a drink from their limited selection of bottled beverages (ranging from sodas to unsweetened jasmine tea). Lesson of the day: bring your own water! Other than that, I thought their crispy chicken leg burger was quite yummy, but there wasn't anything too special about it. The chicken was crunchy and juicy. The bun was on the drier side though. Also, the fries were just okay. I would come back for just the crispy chicken leg burger. read more

This place is right next to the newly opened Chi Cha San Chen in Pacific Commons so it's hard to miss. [[ Vibes ]] I think this place should work on the first impressions you get when you walk in. The initial part is okay with tables, claw machines, etc. but behind the counter is all dark with clutter in the background. I personally think if they turned on more lights in the back, organized a bit, and made it more inviting, it wouldn't have a "hole in the wall" vibe. My wife wanted to try it out so I thought "why the hell not?" but if I saw that when entering, I would have second thoughts. [[ Food ]] Luckily, the food made up for the weird vibes I got from how the store looked. The service was good however and we opted to try the following: 1.) Popcorn Chicken 2.) Waffle Fries Let me tell you when I say I haven't had such well cooked and CRISPY Waffle Fries + Popcorn Chicken in a while that I was super happy. They also gave a decent amount that we easily shared and felt satisfied afterwards. No complaints on our end. read more

A little disappointed that fries don't come with the chicken burger meal but comes with a hash brown??? That's different. The chicken is crispy and tasty nonetheless. The sauce on the chicken burger and the Mexican burrito was bomb though. Customer service was good. The lady who took our order was very kind & sweet. It was empty when I went with my family and that's always a plus. Will I come back though? Probably not, mediocre. But I am glad I tried this place. I've been here twice and have been impressed with the chicken despite the low crowds/mixed reviews. First of all, it's super small and not the best ambiance, and smells like Asia lol which I actually like because it makes me feel nostalgic. This was my second time at ABC Chicken. There is a hint of cigarette smoke when you walk in. And the vibes are kind of weird, as some reviews have already mentioned. Feels like an actual hole in the wall joint. You order off a screen but the cashier stands there for assistance. The flavors were good for the chicken, but i ordered the peking chicken wrap and that was really small and not worth the $10. I think the chicken sandwiches or wings are definitely more worth it, but i dont think i will be back. read more

Decent chicken sandwich spot. ABC Chicken is in a plaza with a bunch of food. Parking is plentiful, but does get busy at lunch and dinner, especially on weekends. Ordering is easy through the kiosk but someone can take your order as well. The inside of the place has a table or two but otherwise it seems like mostly a to-go place. I've tried the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich itself is quite tasty. Chicken was very very crispy. It was properly fried and the inside was pretty tender. I will say though, that there was a lot more batter than expected, but at least the meat itself was good. Would I come back? I think so but not on the top of my list. read more

Amazing spicy chicken wings! Crunchy texture on the outside and juicy and tender in the inside! Chicken is made to order and comes out quickly. The service is great and staff is friendly. I took my parents to try some of their Taiwanese fried chicken. There was a BOGO-free deal on the snack wraps. We got the BOGO-free Peking Style chicken wraps, Spicy Chicken Leg Burger, and Orleans Chicken Wings. My mom noticed there was a weird taste on one of the chicken wraps, so we assumed it was getting old that's why they made a deal to get rid of them. Chicken leg burger was the best one so far The wings were kinda dry. Overall, the seating arrangement inside was so weird it's giving bad feng shui vibe and there was no AC at all. The cashier lady was on her phone most of the time waiting for customers to order and pick up. Aiyaaa! I don't know if it's worth coming back again since we spent nearly $40 for mediocre fried chicken. read more

Delicious and made fresh to order! Don't worry if you don't speak Chinese, there's an English menu inside. We got the Crispy Chicken Leg Burger and the Grilled Chicken Burger. Both were delicious. Initially, we were hesitant about the price (the 2 burgers came out to ~$23) but they're pretty hefty. The chicken is well-seasoned and juicy. One of the best chicken sandwiches out there for sure. The grilled chicken was much smaller than the huge crispy chicken though, so I would definitely pick the latter to order. The service was also excellent, we were waiting outside for our order and the cashier ended up bringing it out to us! There's a few tables inside if you would like to dine in as well. -1 star because the bun was too sweet (almost cake-like) and it smelled kinda bad inside the restaurant :/ read more

I was running errands around this part of town and I was in need of some protein!! LOL surrounded by mostly boba shops I decided to give this spot a try. First glance I was like 50/50 but I went with it anyways. This spot is purely chicken so, I ordered online and it was ready super quick. I feared that the chicken was not going to be fresh but I was very wrong. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount you get. I think my order was around $7 for the popcorn chicken, which was hot&fresh right out the fryer. The pieces were definitely dark meat which is always a plus! I don't know why but some of these places nowadays be using chicken breast and I'lI tell you right now "its a no for me dawg" haha If I wanted chicken breast I can just make that myself. The only thing I wished was that they put a little more of the traditional popcorn chicken seasoning (five spice I think) into the chicken. I wish it was closer to me, so that I could go back but definitely reccomend giving them a try! P.S. It kinda reminded me of popeyes which is a good thing for me just a little less crispy read more

To start with, if we could give half stars, I would totally give this place a 2.5 but I just rounded up for the service. Let's get into it. We were needing to find some lunch post Costco shopping so I've seen ABC Chicken on my Yelp feed for a while so we decided to try it out. L O C A T I O N ABC Chicken is located in the same plaza as Pearl Bay but closer to Tamper Room kind of in the same building as Ichibox. There's parking shared by all the places here but we just got a spot as someone was coming out. It's really rough to get parking especially during prime eating times. So you can park further or just add additional time if you're meeting up with someone or picking up food. I N S I D E It's not a very big place. There's a couple larger long tables along two sides and a couple smaller tables near the windows. At least of folks who dropped by today, everyone was taking their food to-go. M E N U We wish that they had some kind of menu posted on the windows outside or just hanging somewhere so you can easily look at a menu, but they force you to use the online ordering link to view their menu. They have combos but it's hard to know what's in the combos unless you look into each item. I just wish they had a combo where you can just add like half order of fries or something. Well we got the Crispy Chicken Leg Burger, Crispy Cod Burger and Fries. ~ Crispy Chicken Leg Burger - $9.99 ~ It was definitely crispy. The breading and seasoning on the breading was on point. The chicken was moist, but they folded over the chicken which wish they didn't and just left if flat and breaded it that way because then the chicken to breading ratio would be better. It was kind of pink which I was a little concerned about. Hopefully I don't regret eating this. The meat was a bit stringy, but I think that may be the cut of meat. The odd thing was that the bread tasted sweet. Like a sweet brioche? It was a bit off putting. You get shredded lettuce on top plus a mayo ketchup mixture spread. ~ Crispy Cod Burger - $10.59 ~ Basically two fish fillets side by side and if you take it non-spicy, the ketchup mayo mix is what they add as a topping which was slathered a little too haphazardly and too much in my opinion. It also has a cheddar cheese slice on top. Again the bun was sweet. Just not my cup of tea. The cheese was welcomed. The fish was okay. Just felt like it was a fish filet from Costco that was fried. ~ Fries - $5.49 ~ We were a bit shocked to see the prices for the fries and waffle fries. I figured, it might be plentiful or not, it should be the best fries I've ever had. Well it was more plentiful than good unfortunately. It was a little soggy and not crisp. Well not all were soggy but I wish they were better fried. There was a whole lot of fries and much more than is necessary if you were going to just have fries with a burger. Between the two of us, we barely finished it all. I would've rather paid half the price for half the price for better cooked fries. I'm unsure why they have to cook that much for an order but I'm sure there's a reason. S E R V I C E The person at the counter was very nice and helped with questions we had as well as packed away our food and letting us know which sandwich was which. We ordered at the one kiosk at the front and easily paid by credit card. O V E R A L L I don't think we'll be back for fries, or either of their burgers. I would consider trying out their popcorn chicken as I would hope it's the same breading as their chicken and maybe a better ratio of chicken to breading. But otherwise, I've just had better fried chicken sandwiches nearby. Although the breading was good, everything else about the sandwich including the bun which I was surprised I'd have an issue with. I also just wish they had half orders of their appetizers especially fries/waffle fries. But hey, I may not like it, but you can definitely give them a try. read more

Before I ordered the Peking style chicken wrap, I asked what type of wrap they use, is it tortilla wrap or Chinese scallion wrap, she confirmed that they use the scallions wrap, but it's not, the wrap is just tortillas wrap, wonder why it was called Peking style wrap? It's more distressed to see the chicken wrap were so small portion, I opened it up, it's just some mayonnaise, cucumber and two tiny pieces of chicken strip, that's $10, not worth it at all. Dislike tortillas wrap, I took out the chicken and just ate it along, it's just a normal fried chicken strip. read more

This chicken spot is located in Pacific Commons, next to Ichibox and Tamperroom. Saw a reel on IG highlighting this place, and I just knew I had to try them out for their Grand Opening! My bf and I got a Spicy Leg Chicken Burger and a Peking Chicken Wrap! Don't underestimate the smaller mom and pop stores. This place is small and kinda off to the side, BUT SUPER ready to pop off! I hope this review gains more customers for this new fast food casual dining place! The burger and wrap are the perfect size for a quick and easy lunch. The chicken is tender, juicy, and yet a nice crispy crunch on the outside of it! The condiments weren't overdone and overpowering, which we sometimes like. Helps us actually taste the chicken more! Pretty good price for our meals! We cannot wait to come back and order the cod burger next! Spend $40 or more and you'll get a free popcorn chicken! (P.s. it's so funny how i am not the only one comparing this to Jollibee) I will always love Jollibee chicken as a number 1, but this place is better in terms of a chicken Sammy! read more

Saw their spot open up a few days ago while I was searching Yelp and read it was better than KFC. I TOTALLY AGREE. My love for the Snack Wrap will live on in my heart, but their Chicken Wrap easily replaces it and I'm here for it. We got the Mexican and Peking versions and the difference was the Peking had Lettuce and Pickles while the Mexican had pickled Cucumbers (Liked this one a lot) Please eat the fries and hashbrown ON THE SPOT, they deserve to be eaten in all its glory. The waffle fries could've use more seasoning. They were soggy on the car ride home sadly but they have potential! Inside was a decent seating area and you order on a kiosk. They accept both tap to pay and cash. Then they have a tv screen that'll let you know when your foods being prepared and when it's ready. Parking sucks too so just be prepared for that. read more

I was recommended by my friend who came here before. I am very impressed by the flavor because it reminded me of the kfc chicken and burgers that I tried in Asia. Spicy chicken burger is super moist and tender but crispy on the outside. So much better than McDonald burger or kfc. I also love their wraps that have a tangy sauce with cucumber and chicken( almost taste like Peking duck? Hence the name: Peking chicken wrap). Chicken wings are spicy but juicy. Waffle fries are not soggy either. I'm very impressed and will definitely come back often for future purchases. read more

ABC Chicken is located in Fremont. This place had just opened up. I went to check it out. You place your order at the counter at the kiosk. There's about 5-6 tables inside, not much space. Most people got their foods to go. There is only one kiosk inside, there is no visible menu inside to see what they have ahead of time. However, there is a QR code to order online and view the menu. There's an ordering screen so you know when your number will be called. My partner and I ordered 2 Peking style wraps, spicy chicken leg burger, and potato waffle. The Peking style wrap was good, it can feed one person alone. The chicken is really crispy, the sauce was a bit spicy but tasted great :) The spicy chicken leg burger wasn't bad, not as spicy compared to the wrap. I would compare it to the Jollibee chicken sandwich, but bigger and crispier. The potato waffle for me needed some more flavor, but my partner said it was great to him. I would compare this place to Starbird's chicken in terms of their seasoning and flavor. Overall, I might be coming back to try the chicken wings and tenders. read more

Newish fried chicken spot with an Asian twist. It looks like they kinda took over a spot that had a dining area, but when I went a big section was blocked off and the only part accessible was this front area with an order kiosk and maybe a table or 2. So it definitely seems more like a take-away place now. Menu straight forward, a lot of fried chicken sandwiches with many variations. You can get white meat, dark meat, spicy or not. There's popcorn chicken, wings and maybe a few other things fried like fries and fried mozzarella. I call this 'teeny food'. Lol Garlic Chicken Wings ($11/4*) You get about 6 wing flats but they are HUGE wing flats. And crazy juicy too, that if you bite into one right away, you may get scalded from hot juice. I'd let these sit for at least 5 minutes. Great fry with a unique coating, kinda a cross between American breading and Chinese breading. I was digging it. Just not sure if I was digging the 'garlic' part as it seemed more in a marinade than it was on the exterior, which I prefer. They also have wings in other flavors like Hot n Spicy and Cajun Sauced. Popcorn Chicken ($7/4.5*) These were some of the best popcorn chicken I've ever tried. I'm pretty sure it was dark meat as it was pretty darn juicy, but I really can't recall. The breading was similar to the wings, slight crunch without being crazy crispy and perfectly seasoned. I just wished that they would have been some fried basil as to me that really elevates popcorn chicken from regular status to special status. Note to kitchen brass: please please add fried basil to this! Still haven't tried any of the sandwiches but I've seen enough that I do wanna try. I just hate this strip mall and the parking and I kinda like eating at a comfy table, so this may be a hard re-visit. But some good fried chicken lies behind these doors. Trust. read more

Their fried chicken is soooo good, a million times better than the other fried chicken options we have around here. Juicy and crispy, and the set meal is a really good deal to get lots of snacks. It was a weird experience dining here. It was a cold and rainy night - the door was wide open blowing in cold wintry air. I asked the staff if they could close it and the answer was no because the door lock is engaged and if they closed it, people couldn't open it from the outside. Oh weird - and then onto the ordering. I asked if we could just have some water and was told they only have hot water - like boiling hot. The chicken sandwich I had was good texture wise but the sweet mayo sauce they put in really threw me off. That coupled with the hot water really didn't hit the mark for me. Also, the fries I had was below average and tasted like it was heated up vs. freshly fried. This was not the fried chicken experience I was looking for. read more

With a location so close to Chick Fil A, ABC Chicken is taking a gigantic gamble. Although it may not be as packed, their sandwich is better. This was love at first bite. They even have 3 levels of spiciness, something you just don't find anywhere else. I got the spiciest and I definitely felt the heat. It hits every note. Soft brioche bun, sweet tangy sauce and a juicy chicken thigh. Perfectly balanced and they even shred the lettuce which gave the perfect texture. Even though the flavors were there, the lack of a satisfying crunch is my only complaint. Not a deal breaker for me because everything else was so good. This applies to their popcorn chicken as well, which is disappointing because that's the whole point of it! This place is very deserving of 5 stars because the chicken sandwich is really that good.
