Five Guys is one of my favorite burger places to visit. I came here this past Wednesday, and as usual, the food was fresh and the customer service was great. I normally order the Little Bacon Cheeseburger, but I think this time I accidentally ordered the regular Bacon Cheeseburger. Either way, it was delicious and very filling. The ingredients always taste fresh, and the burgers are consistently good. My husband usually gets a cheeseburger and absolutely loves their original fries. His favorite treat is a milkshake with peanut butter, chocolate, and cookies & cream mixed together, and he says it's always amazing. The restaurant is always clean, which I appreciate. The only issue during this visit happened in the restroom when the paper towel dispenser came loose and fell down. It almost hit my daughter, and it came down pretty hard. I mentioned it to one of the employees, and she took care of it right away. I appreciated how quickly she addressed it because I didn't want anyone else to get hurt. Overall, this is still one of my go-to burger spots. Great food, friendly service, and a clean restaurant keep us coming back. read more

My wife, our oldest son and I returned to Five Guys yesterday to take advantage of their BOGO cheeseburger offer to celebrate National Cheeseburger Day 2026. We assumed it might be fairly popular, but we're quite surprised when we arrived and weren't able to find a parking space out front, like we are always able to. We drove around for a bit, before finding a spot in the back of the building. As we approached the front doors, we noticed the amount of people who were inside the restaurant. All the tables were full and a lot of people were standing and waiting for their orders. The young lady who was taking orders informed me when I told her I wanted to use the BOGO cheeseburger offer, that I had to place an order on their app. I didn't have any connectivity, so we went outside and grabbed a seat on a bench. Once I had connectivity, I opened their app and placed our order. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers (1 was the BOGO), a 'lil cheeseburger, regular order of Cajun fries and soft drinks. It said our order would be ready in 7 - 20 minutes. Because, they were so busy, our order actually took 1 hour. Wow! I understand they were busy, but didn't expect it to take 1 hour to get our food. On the plus side, by the time our food was ready, many of the guests had left and we found an open table. Our food, per usual was solid. It would have been better had they told us our wait would have been longer. read more

The cashier taking my order was so nice--she had such a happy, positive vibe definitely made the visit even better, esp being my first time at this location lol I ordered a Little Bacon Cheeseburger (all the way) and added grilled jalapeños. The burger was super juicy, patty cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. I forgot they don't have ranch, so I got BBQ sauce and A1 on the side--honestly, the A1 was a game changer I literally inhaled everything. 10/10 today! read more

This location of five guys in fremont,ca is fantastic! Short lines, plenty of parking, quick service, friendly employees, clean facility! I went here for a quick snack and ordered medium fries and a chocolate, oreo crumble milkshake! (YUMM!!!) . The service was super quick not even 5 minutes had I received my order. Everything was perfect except one thing, my french fries were SUPER salty.. I was quite sad but hungry so I still ate some until I couldn't handle it anymore. I hope they don't always salt their fries like this as it looked like it was snowing salt in the cup lol. Anyways I would come back again but I would probably tell them specifically when ordering to not salt it all and just salt it myself. read more

One of the best burgers we've had in awhile! The flavors are great, meet is juicy, the sauce is good and I love "that all the way" had pretty much all toppings included already. The fries were also tasty. The free peanuts are yummy & fun. Place is huge with lots of seating. Staff was nice and burgers were ready quickly although no line anyways. read more

Great burgers but their online ordering system could use more guidance. We ended up waiting longer than expected because we did not confirm we were on our way to start food prep despite adding a pick up time for our order. The food was good - burgers were quite large even the small burgers were too much for my 7 year old. The fries were the highlight and def recommend the Cajun seasoning if you like more flavor/spice. read more

Five Guys is one of the best fast food chains in the burger industry. Everything is made out of peanut oil and the way they prepare food is amazing. I got here and am the only one in the restaurant during the night. I also like how the place is very clean like they never left a spot hanging. The theme of the restaurant fits to the atmosphere of a burger place since its colors are red and white. Ordered small fries and man...the portion is really big for something that is supposed to be a size of small. Also, if I remember correctly, the cheeseburger has two patties while a little cheeseburger only has one. I guess that they don't like calling a cheeseburger a double cheeseburger and a little cheeseburger a cheeseburger haha read more

Five Guys - Cheeseburger with Fries - Burgers Near Me - Fremont, California

This Five Guys franchise is the worst. The past few times I have been there, I have had to return my hamburger or fries and sometimes both. I've been to other Five Guys and they're much more generous with the fries. Plus the fries are fresher. But this Five Guys has issues and it looks like I'm going to have to drive to the Five Guys in San Jose if I want a good burger and fries. On a positive side, the nice lady at the counter made sure the new burgers were cooked correctly. But it seems to take 2 attempts to get a warm and delicious burger. No special ambiance. It's a Five Guys. read more

FINALLY! I got the chance to try out what Five Guys hype is all about! There was no line when I got there. Which is a plus. **** What I got: - medium Cajun fries: SALTY as heck... threw away 70% of it BUT it was nice of the staff to put the extra fries in the bag. 1.5/5 Stars - veggie burger: not too bad. There's mushroom, lettuce, tomatoes, all that good stuff. Shoved into a burger bun. 3/5 Stars Overall, okay food. Experience was good. I would come back to give it another go BUT still kind of traumatized but how salty those suckers were. read more

I haven't been here in a couple years and it's definitely not as good as I remember. I ordered their little bacon cheeseburger and it was just blah. The bacon was extremely burnt and nasty. The bacon tasted old and recooked in old grease. Their buns were just there, they don't even toast it. Buns straight out the bag:/ I also ordered fries and they were just ok, nothing to rave about. (See picture for reference). read more

Stopped here the other day and enjoyed a hearty lunch. My son and I hadn't been here in a few months, since we've been going to the one on Brokaw and the consistency at this location had dropped-off a bit. However, we were in the area and wanted to give it another try and I'm glad we did. Both my son's cheeseburger, my lil cheeseburger and our lil cajun fries were delish. Our burgers were juicy and cooked just right. In addition, I like how they don't skimp on their toppings. Our order of lil cajun fries was plentiful and seasoned well. The new Coke freestyle machines were a nice surprise and are easy to operate. I really enjoy all the selections these machines offer. The inside of the restaurant was clean and the staff are always friendly. read more

Awesome baby cheeseburger oh my goodness feels like one just off the grill. It was so yummy and the hotdogs. My husband said were incredible and the melt patty melts. Oh my goodness and the french fries they're the best! Quite expensive I would say because everything is all the cart so for 3 to 4 items it was $45. That's the expensive part but the food was delicious. read more

I like Five Guys in general, but I think this location is just fine. It's clean enough, the staff are fine, and the food is just like all the other Five Guys. Nothing is good enough to write home about, but it's a decent place to get a burger and the cajun fries are always good. I will say that one thing I dislike about Five Guys is that I always end up spending more money than I want to because it is just weirdly expensive for fast food? I much prefer In-N-Out for the price and the quality of food itself. I don't know that I'll be back, but I'm not necessarily opposed to visiting if I have friends who are craving a Five Guys burger. read more

Delicious super huge tasty juicy burgers. I ordered for pick up since you can no longer eat inside or out due to Covid but I had a huge burger with tons of fries that was so amazing!! Juicy but yet well cooked and fries for about 3 people!!! Note to self: next time get small fries. I added mushrooms and grilled onions to my cheeseburger and the scary thing was I ATE ALL OF IT!!! Thats how good it was. Great for lunch or dinner. Miss the days when we could eat the peanuts but hopefully we will again some day soon. read more

WHEN: 01-09-22 Here in the Bay Area, I feel like after every exit on the freeway, there's always a burger joint! This Five Guys is no exception, as it's right off the Automall exit. I went inside and ordered Little Fries (Cajun) and a Little Hamburger (All The Way). The cashier who took my order was polite and gave good recommendations. I tasted my cajun fries. It was overly salty. Not unbearable for me, but I know people who couldn't stand the amount of saltiness in the fries. I guess I'm used to the saltiness in the fries because of my experience being around too many salty people. I like how the burger is wrapped in foil. When I unwrap it, it's like I'm opening Christmas presents! Except this present would spill oil or juices on my clothes immediately after I unwrap it. Despite that, the burger still looked amazing! The burger was decent. Maybe under seasoned? It tasted bland. The burger looked well-put together, but the toppings kept falling out after every bite. It felt like I was eating a huge Little Hamburger. Overall, Five Guys is okay. If I need something quick, Five Guys is not a bad option for me. read more

Five Guys is located in Pacific Commons in Fremont. I hadn't been to this East Coast-based Burger chain in a long while. It was raining, and it looked like there was little foot traffic there -- plus I was craving a messy Burger -- so I made the trek over. The staff were attentive and friendly as I glanced over the menu. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and Cajun Fries plus a Soda. While waiting, I munched on some Peanuts (a specialty of theirs). They make everything from scratch when you order, so there's a little wait for the food. My food was ready, and it was worth the wait. The Bacon Cheeseburger was huge as was the side of Cajun Fries. It was a messy but delicious eating experience. Make sure to get lots of napkins. Definitely should visit here more often. read more

The ultimate PROTEIN BURGER - if you like burgers, but don't need/want the carbs... THIS is the protein burger you'll want and crave. The other joints just won't do. I recall my little brother's excitement at the grand opening of this location (as well as many others) in CA. With great hype, comes great responsibility. For me, this burger joint simply doesn't deliver. I've come to this location about once a year for the last 5 years or so and the quality of food/cleanliness of the joint seemed to be declining. What usually draws me in is the crisp Cajun fries, which I am still somewhat fond of. But unless your diet consists of just fries, I can't recommend this place. My last burger, which should have been made fresh to order as there were no other patrons there ATM, was completely soggy and abused looking - see photo below. For 7$ fast food burger I expect something pretty good. I mean, in-N-out makes a delicious and appetizing looking burger at a 1/3 of the cost...I think most times I've gotten burgers here I was a bit disappointed in retrospect. I think this is where we say good-bye, PC five guys. Please don't try to tempt me with the smell of your fries next time I walk by. We both know it's time to move on. read more

Recently, I've been visiting many Five Guys locations around the Bay, and while they are all consistently good across the board, I must say that this branch takes the slight edge. I always order with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun, but unfortunately, many places do this rather poorly, with pieces that are not quite large enough. Lettuce bits end up flopping everywhere, with sauce dripping all over the my hands and table. That is certainly not the case here. The extremely helpful and considerate staff takes great pride in their craft, and goes beyond the call of duty to ensure that the appearance and taste of the burger are of the utmost quality. At every other location, I usually ask for a "burger bowl" (deconstructed, and served in an aluminum platter) to prevent creating a catastrophic mess. Here, that is not necessary. As a matter of fact, the majority of the time, I am able to complete the burger with paws completely unscathed. Also, I tend to eat late, and sometimes end up visiting near closing time. The kind workers never rush me, even if it's well past the posted closing time of 10 pm, and allow me to blissfully devour my lettuce wrapped cheeseburger in peace. P.S. Yay! Review #1000 for this location. read more

Food is always fresh and the customer service here is amazing. I just wish the prices were lower.

I wanted to give a shout out to Joel who packed up my mobile order! I had placed a mobile order which was supposed to have been ready a couple minutes before I arrived. However, we were still waiting for the fries when I got there which I didn't mind much since I love fresh fries anyway. Joel made the fries and I saw him add an extra scoop of fries which was really nice of him to do. He really didn't have to give some extra but it was a nice gesture considering we had to wait a bit with mobile ordering. Little things matter! Anyways, the food here is consistently tasty. I highly recommend the Cajun fries! read more

It's true, Five Guys isn't as amazing as In-N-Out. However, I still think their burgers are delicious! I usually get the Cheeseburger with the works (minus the tomatoes and mushroom) and with Cajun Fries. I think their fries are amazing! During my recent visit, I found out they serve milkshakes now! And best of all you can mix flavors free of charge! I got the Coffee with Oreo and it was so gooood, a bit sweet, but still good, especially with my burger and fries. Service was fine, tables were clean for the most part, food didn't take too long, and for those who have never been to Five Guys, they have boxes of free peanuts to eat while you wait! read more

So I've been here quite a few times since my last review and I think I was extremely harsh. The burgers really aren't that bad but they just don't compare to In-N-Out in my honest opinion. I do like the free toppings concept and being able to build your own burger. The Cajun fries are still bomb of course, they probably will always be the best fries at a fast food establishment. I do like the recent addition of the hand spun milkshakes and all mix-ins are free so that is a huge plus! While they aren't my first go to place for a burger they certainly are an option when I want a break from my norm and want a bacon cheeseburger with Cajun fries. I do however still stand by my statement that they are a bit overpriced and they don't have any meal options. A double cheeseburger shouldn't cost over $7. Though the price isn't what I'd like it to be I have given them a number of tries and I find myself coming back every once in a while. I have yet to try their shakes but I do plan to as well as their bacon hot dog and maybe that will change my mind and make me give them 4 stars. read more

It's In Pacific Common shopping center -left side of Old Navy, next to Bassett home furnishing & Premier Pizza. NO DRIVE THRU! This is an East Coast fast food place, President Obama ate at a Washington DC one once. No line when I went. FREE peanuts in the shells, eat them after ordering - long wait for food, they were in the box above the garbage can. Order food w/ the Cashier. I wanted a hamburger and found out a Hamburger has 2 patties, so went w/ Little Hamburger which is just 1 patty for $3.69. FREE Toppings! Pick whatever you want. Toppings in red: Relish, onion, jalapeno peppers, green peppers, A1 Sauce, bbq sauce, hot sauce you have to request. Keep receipt for your Order Number. Had to wait about 10 min to get my food. One person grills it, then turns around to give it to another person that add the toppings. Takes forever. My Little hamburger was well-done & kinda dry, just ok. I got it w/ mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomato, grilled mushrooms, ketchup & mustard & asked for A1 sauce, bbq sauce, & hot sauce (taste like Tabasco) on the side. They put them in little salsa cups w/ lid. My total: $3.69 + .36 tax = $4.05. They take Credit Cards. I can't seem to like Five Guys even though they've been deemed as one of the best burger places. I would rather go to Red Robin's to be honest. But before I go there, this Five Guys is located in Pacific Commons next to the Old Navy and Market Place Broiler. There's lots of parking. There seems to always been some kind of line, but goes by fairly quickly. Remember to get your free peanuts with two containers so you can have one for the shells. All burgers come with two patties so make sure you pay attention to when you're ordering. Today we got a cheeseburger and small fries. The fries are great. I don't like the cajun flavoring as it just is super salty and unnecessary. The burger was just lack luster...felt like just eating bland meat which was just disappointing. I want some seasoning in my burger or even some kind of flavor. Although they do have free peanuts and good fries, I would still go to In-n-Out or Red Robin's for my burgers. read more

The debate between In-N-Out and Five Guys should be over now...I think I found my winner! Sidenote: In-N-Out is definitely not "fast" food...It took me 35 minutes last time to get a burger! So who else loves free peanuts? And LOTS of topping on a good burger? THIS GIRL HERE! I came here on a Friday evening around 6:30 PM. The place was not too filled, but was starting to get busy. We ordered: -2 orders of bacon hamburgers // The toppings varied per each burger, but you get the idea. LET ME JUST ADD MORE OF THE GRILLED MUSHROOMS. AND CAN I JUST GET MORE JALEPENOS? (Holy...that gave me a run for my money!) -1 large order of cajun fries // CRISP TO PERFECTION. What else can I say?! And I love that they just pour so much fries into your cup/bag! It's like an overflowing Halloween bag! Pros: -SO MANY TOPPING OPTIONS. The ones on the main menu is not all! Right next to the cash register there is a laminated sheet with more! -Great service! Super patient girl! Smiles and all! -Awesome portion! Yeah...so while it looks humungous in photos but it is definitely the perfect size for me. Cons: -Bun a bit too soggy...I guess they wrap it in aluminum to 1) melt the cheese, 2) keep the burger warm, 3) let you leave if it's togo? But still. Kind of sad that the bun was soggy. It would definitely be a 5/5 if the bun was not a hot mess. Tips/Observations: -Plentiful parking! -Give Five Guys a shot, you In-N-Out die-heart fans! Overall, coming here again! I can't wait to eat here when I head back to school in September! And the best part? It is within bussing distance, unlike some other place that requires a drive! read more
