He's the assistant manager and was incredibly polite and informative and gave me lots of information. I ended up making the reservation and then calling later to confirm and altered a bit. I then changed it to 16 but in the end we were 13. We sat outside which was a pleasure. Loved that they were able to keep us to one table too. Many in our large party were locals and raved about the place. We ordered the two big seafood platters and coconut shrimp for the table to start. The local person who ordered extra shrimp said they are the best he's ever had. They were good!! Everything on the big platters went! I had a salad and then the salmon and was extremely pleased with my meal. We ordered wine for the table and they were great about refilling the glasses and keeping up on ordered drinks and water refills. Two people ordered the mocktail and loved it. My only constructive criticism would be to keep up on clearing dirty plates. The dirty appetizer plates were still there on the table during dessert. Even with my not-so-subtle trying to hand them to the waiter. I would eat here again.

There are lots of handwritten notes all over the walls, which was pretty cool. The appetizers looked good. They had fried pickles and okra, but I wanted to save room for the seafood boil. We decided to order the Combo 2 (your choice of crab + 2lbs of other seafood+4 pieces of sausage + 2 corn + 4 potatoes) with the combo mild sauce. We also ordered 2 sides of garlic bread, lol. The servers were quick to greet us and take our order. They also walked around pretty frequently so it was easy to get their attention. The seafood boil was really good. The sauce was well incorporated into the seafood. I've been to other places and it seemed like they just threw the sauce on before bringing the food out. The mild sauce had more of a kick than I expected, but it was still really good. The only downside was that the garlic bread took a while to come out. We initially ordered one side and then added another mid-meal. Both times, the bread took probably over 10 minutes to come out. It wasn't a huge deal breaker, especially because our server was keeping us updated and told us the kitchen was backed up. Overall, we really enjoyed the meal and the service. I'll definitely be coming back.

Our order is always the combo #2 with dungeoness crab no clean (best part ever), and clams. No clean is a highlight because it keeps the crab whole. They run out quick!*

They're also very generous with the sides. They have a buffet style self serve soup, and drinks in the corner where you can also get other seasonings I like that my plate came with a variety of vegetables and the sauces were very flavorful and the pork was pretty juicy. I'll have to come back to try the steak but no notes for the pork Teppanyaki. I like to get the mixed sauce with pepper and mushroom. My coworker got the shrimp steak though, and I do have to warn that those are just full shrimps on a sizzling plate that you have to peel and so I would not recommend that. Seems like a lot of trouble. I'll definitely be back to try other cuts of meat!

I came here today. It was a pretty bad experience. The…read moreservice was typical taiwanese style sit down. Self serve water, etc. Staff was your fake "nice" type attitude. I ordered 3 appetizers, 2 main courses between me and my wife. Main courses came out first, then our appetizers... wrong order, and really on the salty side. I'm pretty sure I asked for less salt and oil on the orders. I guess that means to pour more salt on the order from the line cook's perspective. Next time I won't make that mistake in asking. The restaurant was decent looking, our table was not that clean - plastic tables outside in the cold. Was offered, then punted to use the QR code. Another table sat next to us and across from us - they had service. Great, awesome experience so far ehh? My wife had the chicken steak, I took the ribeye with pasta. 1 - I asked for my steak medium rare... it came out raw and it was rancid. 2 - My wife's chicken thigh (they called it chicken steak, but it was just a thigh that was pounded down) was ok. I had an order of the blood rice cake, tofu, and corn soup. The corn soup was ice cold, it had some puff pastry and the soup had raw shrimp and ice cold imitation crab meat. I didn't touch the thing except to open the lid. Luckily I didn't eat it, reported it and they took it back and cancelled it. I don't know how you can bring out a soup that is ice cold and had RAW shrimp. So I know 100% microwave pre-prep and was bad. My steak however, was raw, but that wasn't the point. even if it was undercooked, I'm usually good with black+blue steaks and/or rare. The steak was foul, not quite to the point just straight green, but close enough. I didn't notice at first, I then cut away the fat and after eating a couple of pieces, I smelled the steak and it was rancid. The meat was going sour and the flesh was oxidized (rainbow colors due to metals and minerals in the flesh) when I finally looked and flipped it around. Once I tasted the bad taste, I stopped and set it aside. Just quietly paid for the meal and left. Came home to a nice case of toilet sitting for 30 mins to evacuate my bowels. yeah, there's no excuse for this experience. I'm not coming back. I honestly think this place has potential, but it was an awful experience over all.

Upon entry the restaurant it is kind of tight and intimate but thankfully there is a lot of outdoor seating. The menu had a good variety of items including bobas and teas! I was there for the fish sandwich and fries, which took about 30 min to make which I recommend calling ahead if you are in a rush. It took me about 20 minutes to get eat my meal, despite the wait the food was still crispy and hot and full of flavor! For the price of the sandwich being $10 you cannot beat it. I was thoroughly impressed by the flavor and the size I will definitely be back. I also recommend trying the wasabi honey sauce! The cornmeal breading on the fish was super crispy even though I ate the sandwich 30 minutes after it had been prepared. The filet was thick and flakey, and I thought there was just the right amount of sauce and pickles in the sandwich to add a tang and brininess to the sandwich. The cheeseburger was solid, as good as one I would have gotten from In-N-Out, but just at a higher price point. No notes. The fries were the only item that I thought could've been improved. The fries here were on the thicker side, and ended up being quite soggy when I bit in to them. I'm sure a few minutes in an air fryer would crisp them right back up, but the fries also needed to be seasoned with a bit more salt as well. Overall, solid burger spot in Fremont.
