Haven't been to Wendy's for a very long time. If you take a look at their Fremont Automall Wendy's establishment it boasts a 3 and a half star rating that's well deserved. Here's why: Wendy's Automall in Fremont is our go to choice when we're in the mood for a Daves single or a Frosty. I've been coming here since the early 2000's and to this day, their drive thru service is FAST! Consistently fast and efficient! I don't know how they do it but if I ever see a line of 7-8 cars in their drive thru it doesn't bother me at all because they're drive thru staff can handle the volume of cars. We value Wendy's burgers over the other burger chains (well maybe not In N Out) due to its value, the taste that never really disappoints in this location and the effective drive thru this particular location operates. My food came-out pretty quickly and the staff were friendly. As I went to find a place to sit, I noticed several tables hadn't been bussed. Ever since I saw a 50 cent commercial limited offer of the Frosty offered at Wendy's I decided to go to one. I went here for lunch on a standard weekday. All I ordered was a Jr. Cheeseburger, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and two Frosty's of Vanilla and Chocolate flavor. I can confirm that rumor about Wendy's using only fresh ingredients is true. Even though I only consumed a small amount of food, but was genuinely good. The Frosty Freezes are my favorite item from Wendy's. They have their own unique flavor which makes you want to take time eating it. Every now and then I personally do not mind driving the extra distance just to come here. Looks like Sunday nights are "Bring your lazy daughter to work" days. Pulled through drive through at a little after 10pm and in the pick-up window stands a 15/16 year old looking child who gives me one bag and awkwardly whispers under her breath, "wait for your other bag".... then continues to stare... while standing right at the window.... awkward.... Since I didn't get my drink, I told her "I have a drink too".... but nope... she's definitely a lazy youngster... didn't even phase her. She just stood there and stared while also softly singing some Spanish song... I'm not sure what it was about but I would want to imagine it was probably something about not being at work with mom. So, Mamma gives Little Blanca my second bag and she hands it too me as if that was the last of my order... just staring.... but I wait.. hoping to get my drink soon... turns out little miha doesn't seem to know how to do anything, and is there just to "lend a hand". Momma starts to pour the drink while I continue to wait.... then tells her offspring to tell me to "wait for your drink"..... Blanca repeats mothers words softly... "wait for your drink...". At this point, I impulsively rolled my eyes a little and it seemed as if Blanca became embarrassed. In a disobedient teenager tone, she responds to her mother, "who would forget their drink?"... but it would seem that obviously little Blanca would.... I continue to wait... I'm not sure if they are under new management but the wait times have skyrocketed for food over the past couple weeks. I used to be able to get in line and get my food withing ~10 minutes or less. More recently, it has taken almost 3 times as long to get the same orders with about the same number of people in line. It is a bit odd because the number of employees seemed to have increased as well. I'm not sure if it is just new people they are training but the service has gotten progressively slower and worse. I got to the drive through and was asked to wait. After 5 minutes I asked if they were ready to take my order. They asked me to wait again.
