    Singapore rice stick noodles

Had to give China station another try after the disastrous visit I had when they reopened a few years ago. Happy to say the garlic fried chicken is back to how it used to taste! Crispy, garlicky and not too oily. Very good! I usually only order the fried chicken but this time I decided to try the Singapore noodles. It was quite good, huge order, lots of ingredients and pretty tasty! I will be back!

China Station has reopened! After a pretty long stint of being closed, they've opened their doors to welcome new and returning customers. During this soft reopening, they're taking in feedback and evaluating how to best serve their customers. Come try! The long awaited visit to China Station has finally come but it is only after they've supposedly changed ownership. We have heard great things about their food, namely their infamous crispy chicken. And as a first time visitor, that's exactly what we got. There was definitely a sticker shock ($14 for 7 pieces) but we figured it was still worth a try. The pieces were medium sized, breaded lightly, and were freshly made to order. We placed an order for the non-spicy, garlic one as well as a separate one for the spicy, chili powder covered variation. The chicken definitely lived up to the hype. The texture was amazingly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The chicken was fried throughly so that even the cartilage was soft enough to crunch through. The seasoning and flavoring was great - not too salty but the non-spicy was accentuated from the fried garlic that topped it and the spicy one had just enough chili powder to tickle your senses but not linger too long and overpower your palate. But at two bucks a piece, it's too steep for a frequent buy but perhaps a guilty pleasure every blue moon or so. The shop is located in a tiny, inconspicuous mall shared by other amazing mom and pop shops serving authentic ethnic cuisine. They do have a dedicated parking lot that is rarely occupied and it's conveniently located near the highway so it's a nice place to come pick up your meal before heading home or to your next potluck event. For those with children, it's also located near a public park so you could perhaps considering including some Chinese food into your busy schedule. Overall, my first impression of China Station was a good one and I look forward to coming back to try their other dishes. The prices may need to be evaluated to stay competitive with similar restaurants nearby. Otherwise as long as the food quality stays consistent and they continue upholding their great reputation while establishing new customers, China Station will do great and can serve their customers for years to come.

Garlic fried wings are back! One order is enough to feed 2 ppl. BBQ pork fried rice and Mongolian beef is legit.

I have been coming here for a long time to get the garlic chicken wing, I recently move and came back after a couple of years. I came to order the wings and noticed a young lady instead of the boy or old man. I ask the lady if this is under new ownership, she said yes, the lady's says the old man retired and nothing has change. So I gave it a try and I'm glad I did because the wings have the same taste and I will be coming back every time I'm back in time.

Notify the press! China Station is back! Still soft opening, but they know what's important... spicy fried chicken wings! From what I was told, it is not the same owners, but they are related, so recipe is the same. From what I ate today, it sure tastes the same! Please note that during soft opening, the menu is limited (no party trays yet) and it is cash only!

Today's soft opening. New owner! Reopened under new management. Friendly owners. Place looks the same just clean. New front counters. Tried out the infamous garlic wings to see if it's the same. I'm going to have to say not the same. The crunch factor is there but the taste is not. Also tried the spicy garlic wings. Just a hint of spice and the flavor is also lacking. In my opinion both wings need more flavor.

Never tried this place but heard they had the best fried chicken game in the bay! Let's just say it was the crunchiest chicken I have ever had in my life, the texture of the skin felt like a fried crab Rangoon. Overall it was a great experience of an soft opening, only disappointing thing was that the chicken was so crunchy I was unable to poke it through with my plastic fork

The fam loves to order trays of their crispy garlic wings! Can't say much on other menu items they offer but prices are reasonable.

It seemed that they were having people pay by credit card today so it was either cash or ordering online. Opted to order online just to dine in. Got the half order fried chicken and a honey butter chicken for the first time (take home) I love Korean fried chicken and Vons chicken was what I expected. The honey butter chicken was good and tasted like candy. Might be a bit too sweet for me but worth trying it. Service for dine in was great. Of course we had to try it because it's in the area. We kept our order simple: 1) Soy Garlic Wings 2) Honey Butter Wings and 3) Picked Radish. We doordashed our order and even from Fremont all the way to Union City the wings stayed fresh. They are PACKED with flavor and extremely crunchy. On top of that the pickled radish tied the entire meal together. I'm not even lying to you when I say my siblings and I killed our entire order. My personal favorite was the soy garlic wings. It's a classic that tied together with the crunch of the chicken. The honey butter wings are on the sweeter side with a hint of cheese. Not my personal favorite but my brothers really enjoyed it. Slap it all together with a side of rice and you're good to go. We will definitely be back!! Thanks GrubWitMike for putting us on!!!

The food photos alone never quite explained why it has such light foot traffic--and honestly, after finally stopping in, I'm even more puzzled, because the food is good. Maybe it's missing that immediate grab‑you factor, but my experience was solid. I ordered the double pepper chicken leg burger, and the chicken itself is the star: crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and deeply savory. While I personally wished it packed more heat, the execution was spot‑on. The bun, however, felt a bit forgettable, and the sauce leaned heavily into Thousand Island territory...fine, but not particularly distinctive. All that said, it's better than the crowd suggests. With a little more personality, this place could easily pull more attention its way.

One thing I was kind of disappointed was that they charge you for bottled water and have no tap water available for free. I ended up getting a drink from their limited selection of bottled beverages (ranging from sodas to unsweetened jasmine tea). Lesson of the day: bring your own water! Other than that, I thought their crispy chicken leg burger was quite yummy, but there wasn't anything too special about it. The chicken was crunchy and juicy. The bun was on the drier side though. Also, the fries were just okay. I would come back for just the crispy chicken leg burger.

But I was in the mood for something different and particularly remember how much I enjoyed the garlic parmesan flavor at Wingstop before. So I ended up here this past Sunday. My order was ready in 13 minutes as quoted online. The place was clean and inviting with plenty of seating available and a coca cola freestyle machine which I love for customized sodas. Service was standard and sufficient with the employee handing me my takeout bag without any issues. I got an order of 15 classic style, selecting 8 garlic parmesan and 7 mild buffalo wings. And a couple sides of ranch, which are quite large in size, not those itsy bitsy 2oz cups other places give. The chicken wings were large with a lot of meat on the bone, and nice & juicy. The mild wings were tasty, doused in plenty of buffalo sauce which puddled at the bottom, so I could dip for more flavor. The garlic parmesan wings were okay, but not as good as I remember, especially with the parmesan lacking. It's like they sprinkled the parmesan on a couple pieces on top and neglected the others. It was still a filling meal nonetheless, and the 15-piece a good size for two people or leftovers.

Who knew gas station fried chicken could taste this good. Also, I've tried a few other Krispy Krunchy locations, but none come close to this location in terms of taste and quality. Ordering is simple and fast - tell the guy at the counter what you want, he prints out a bill for you which you use to pay at the billing counter, and then you pick up your order. I generally go for the chicken plus biscuit combo and more often than not, finish the biscuit in the car while driving back home. When they are out of biscuits or if I want more than 4 pieces of chicken, I go for the 8 piece chicken and I have to say it is an unbeatable deal for 8 pieces of hand breaded chicken plus taxes at less than 20 bucks. Yes, the cajun seasoning can sometimes get a tad too salty, but generally, they really nail the flavor at this location. The chicken is always fresh here and they do sometimes run out of chicken, which means you'll need to wait to get piping hot chicken; otherwise service is generally super fast. Also, love their newly redesigned kruch boxes which let the steam out and help keep the chicken really krispy and krunchy.

It had been about a year since I last visited, and I was glad to see that prices hadn't changed at all. The highlight here for me has always been their lumpia--or at least, it used to be. It was once fried to golden perfection, with just the right amount of loose wrapper that gave extra-crispy edges (if you know, you know). Looking back at older photos, the lumpia had a noticeably deeper golden-brown hue compared to the lighter version I received this time, as well as seemed a bit longer in size. This made me sad; but it was still good, just no longer exceptional. In addition, the broasted chicken has always been just decent; the skin is great but the meat on the inside is always a bit dry and definitely requires some gravy or sauce to dip it in. Despite the lumpia switch-up, prices are still unbeatable for the bay, so I'd come back. I did notice that they seemed to have a new cook in the back, so here's to hoping that next time, the lumpia reverts back to the way it was!
