I've always passed by and said I wanted to try this place, and finally did! It's a big colorful restaurant with with plenty of seating and parking. You order through the kiosk, but don't forget to ask the front desk for a buzzer. We came on a weekday for early dinner, ordered 1 serving of beef and 1 serving of chicken thigh, with 2 sides of rice, and a fresh sugar cane drink to share. The food was delightful and reasonably priced! I really enjoyed the bbq chicken thigh my husband ordered, I'll be getting it for myself next time!

Bundoo Khan is hands down one of the best South Asian-style barbecue restaurants in the Bay Area. My wife and I had wanted to try it for ages, and we finally got an opportunity for a midweek lunch. The place is spacious and clean, and somehow has an American diner feel to it. The menu is limited but interesting, with the meat clearly being the main focus. There are hardly any options for vegetarians. In fact, my wife tried the only veggie option on the menu, the Bun Kabob (veg). It was fantastic: a crispy potato patty inside a soft bun with a spicy sauce. I went all out on the meat just by myself. I tried the Signature Chicken Tikka Roll (spicy), the Chicken Tikka (Bihari) leg, and the Chicken Gola Kebab. Everything was excellent. The gola kebab is melt-in-your-mouth soft. The roll was tasty, but pretty oily, so next time I will probably just go with naan. The Bihari chicken tikka was also unique, garlic-forward but delicious. The service was relatively quick. Highly recommend if you want to try something different from the usual Indian food at most places, but just as authentic and legitimately tasty.

Excellent food, beef behari, beef seekh and chicken tikka are authentic in flavor. Restaurant is clean and good service.

Made a takeout order here. It's a large spot with plenty of seating (and parking), so would be interested in dining in here Chicken boti malai roll delicious A little pricey at 14. I was hungry after Large space inside with plenty of seating

Uncooked food!! Bloody Chicken Tikka Breast!!

I never leave reviews, but this was unacceptable. We went to Bundoo Khan Fremont on 8/1/2026, and this has honestly been the worst experience we've had there. We ordered chicken tikka, and when we cut into it, it was raw from the inside with blood still in the meat. The outside was completely burned, but the inside wasn't even cooked enough to eat. I took pictures because I couldn't believe they were serving food like this. The worst part wasn't even the food--it was the staff. I showed the chicken to the lady at the counter, and instead of acknowledging the problem, she had a terrible attitude. Her response was basically that the black on the outside was just charcoal, completely ignoring the fact that the chicken was raw and bloody inside. Burning the outside doesn't magically cook the inside. We've been coming here for a long time, and every visit our bill is usually around $100-150. We don't mind paying that if the food is good, but the quality has been getting worse every single time. This was the final straw. Honestly, I wonder how many people are eating this without realizing the chicken isn't even fully cooked. Serving undercooked chicken is a serious health issue, not just a minor mistake. The food quality has gone downhill, and the customer service is even worse. If this is how regular customers are treated after spending hundreds of dollars over the years, I can't recommend this place to anyone anymore.

This restaurant is large. You can order from the kiosk or at the counter. I ordered from the counter. The atmosphere is similar to a chain restaurant. It was very busy. I ordered grilled fish. I was told that every entree comes with salad of tomatoes, cucumbers and onions. I asked for a double portion of salad. I also ordered plain naan. The fish was good. I had been told it was spicy, but I did not think it was spicy at all. It was accompanied by a few slices of tomato, onion, and cucumbers. The naan was warm and comforting. I recommend this restaurant if you want a fast meal.

I must preface this by saying I hail from Karachi. legend says my first bite as a child was Karachi bbq with my nana. this place reminds me of home, BUT doston, you have to order the right things. and when you order the right way, you will move through a portal. melt-in-your-mouth beef bihari boti at midnight with a crispy paratha and a fresh sugar cane juice will make you whole again. remember at bundoo khan some tings reign supreme: paratha over naan bihari boti over everything else sugar cane juice over lassi chicken seekh kabob over beef kabob the kind women workers who will bus after you with care over everyone else this place is an institution. and now the live paan station makes this another staple in Fremontisan.

Ok meat lovers - this is the spot for some of the best kebabs you can get in the Bay Area. Their story says that they started as a little cart in Karachi, and have been expanding since then. This may be one of their first locations in the U.S. I am sure glad they picked the Bay Area for it. Come here for the wide variety of kebabs they offer. There is probably nothing with gravy on the menu, nor is this a good place for a vegetarian. So if you are looking for that, go elsewhere. Their bun-andaa is to die for. The simplest of things yet perfectly done. Reminded me of the street stalls serving eggs on toast on cold winter nights in Delhi. The lamb chops melt in your mouth - and it's a pretty decent sized helping, that's ways to share. The food tends to be on the spicier side, so be sure you can handle it. I would stay away from the wraps - they are just a bit too oily for my taste. The service is fast. Pretty much self service with a wide open kitchen showing where the grilling happens. The inside is packed on weekends, and there may be a wait to get seated. Pretty clean interior, with a functional layout to accommodate the crowds. Good for big groups that are hungry

First visit, no clue what to order, the staff was helpful -- she recommended a few popular dishes for us to try, which I appreciated. The mango lassi was tasty but a bit pricey at $6 for a small-to-medium cup. The Beef Seekh Kabob (12 pcs for $16) was flavorful, however the portion was a bit small for the price. The Masala fries were disappointing, it was more like regular fries sprinkled with little spice powder, overall it's bland. In a nut shell, food was okay but pricey with small portion.

Solid 4 stars. First time here and highly recommended by friend who lives in the area. I ordered the original leg & thigh signature chicken tikka and the 6-piece signature seekh beef kabob, with a side of garlic naan. The food was truly fantastic. The chicken tikka was incredibly flavorful and had this amazing char from the grill. I wished I had ordered two pieces! The beef kabob was just as great; it was so tender and cooked perfectly. And the naan...They definitely didn't skimp on the garlic - loved it as it came out freshly made Ordering is simple: either via the kiosks or with the cashier. You are given a buzzer to return to that area to pick up your food when ready. Each order is made to order so expect at least a 10 minute wait, especially for the bbq'd meats. After the meal, we both had chai tea. $2/cup, self serve, next to the soda machines around the left side. Plenty of parking here. The restaurant is quite big inside with plenty of tables. There's a private dining room in the back. Clean and organized. The main reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the pricing, which feels a little high for the portion sizes and overall value. Despite the slight pricing concern, the overall dining experience was great and the food tasted fantastic.

This is my first time trying Indopak bbq, so I'm not familiar with the cuisine and probably not the best judge. The food was well prepared, the place was nice, and no complaints about the service, thus 4 stars. But personally, I wasn't a big fan of the food. It was all quite dry (and maybe that's how it's supposed to be??) What we ordered: + Beef Bihari Boti - this had an odd texture, kinda like pate when you press you fork on it. Besides the texture, I didn't care for the taste -- reminded me of liver. + Grilled fish - this was quite good. It had good seasoning and wasn't dry. + Chicken Boti - this was seasoned well, but oh so dry. + Basmati rice - dry + Naan - unlike most naan I've tried, which were a little fluffy, this naan was very flat with no leavening. It has a chewy texture. It was not bad; just different. Glad I gave this place a try, but I'll probably stick with my usual Indian places.

Actually pretty good, affordable, and tasty! Really loved the flavorful bihari grilled fish. Super tender and well seasoned! The chicken boti was pretty good too but I found myself not the biggest fan of the mushy yogurt coating around the chicken. Otherwise it was really tender and cooked well. Masala fries were tasty but wish they had a more pillowy middle. Food came out within 15 minutes. The place is mostly self serve: order in a kiosk, and grab your food when ur buzzard rings. Sauces and water are also self serve. The place is very big and spacious with tons of seating.

Despite it not being packed, service took a while to notice us at the door, to acknowledge us at our table, and to take our order. I can't blame them - the two people that I saw working definitely looked a bit frazzled, but still tried to keep an upbeat attitude. My husband and I opted for the wolf turds (stuffed jalapenos), 1 meat combo (brisket), the banana pudding, and to be honest I forgot what my husband got but the meat on his plate was more tender than the brisket I received. I appreciated their selection of sauces on the table because the meat on both plates were pretty bland. The mac and cheese was cold, but not the worse I've ever had, and the corn bread was dry. The banana pudding was thick, but delightful. Overall, it's a huge pass on the bbq for me, but I've heard good things about their key lime pie.

I came in mostly curious about the skewers, but the cold noodles ended up being the surprise highlight. Cold Noodles If you're on the fence about cold noodle soup -- get this. Topped with two soft-boiled eggs and fresh cilantro, it was simple but extremely satisfying. On a hot day, this hits the spot in a way hot ramen just can't. And even though it's light and chilled, it's still filling. Grilled Skewers There were a lot of unique options and cuts -- lamb, chicken, beef, and more.
