    Bezawada Biryani (Boneless)

Interior was pretty nice, and this is a bit pricey with decent service as well. Visit 1: Got the Bezawada Chicken Biryani and it was surprisingly really good and not too spicy either. Visit 2: got paneer chilli (pretty good), dhaba chicken (not really dhaba chicken but still tasted good, also you can tell it had food coloring) and had the sitaphal (custard apple) malai and that was pretty good too, surprised how it actually tasted like sitaphal! Definitely coming back for the biryani!

Visited Charminar Restaurant on Mowry Avenue and had a very enjoyable meal overall. The restaurant is clean with beautiful interiors and a pleasant ambience, and the service was attentive throughout our visit. We ordered Chicken 65, Chicken Lollipop, Paneer 65, Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani, Achari Goat, and Sitaphal Malai for dessert. The starters were excellent and full of flavor. The Chicken Lollipops were easily some of the best I have had. The biryani was satisfying and aromatic as well. The Achari Goat, however, felt a bit off and ended up giving me some acid reflux. I also noticed a bit of throat irritation after the meal, which makes me wonder about the quality of oil used for frying. I hope the restaurant pays attention to this and avoids reusing oil too many times, as it can affect both taste and overall dining comfort. On a sweeter note, the Sitaphal Malai truly stole the show. It is one of the best Indian desserts I have ever had and worth visiting for on its own. Overall, Charminar offers great flavors, lovely ambience, and attentive service. With a little more attention to oil quality, this place could easily be a five star experience.

We visited Charminar Fremont yesterday for dinner and had one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. Even before ordering, the experience started poorly. We waited over 15 minutes just to receive menus, and while we were standing in line, two people cut ahead of us. The staff and management saw this happen, yet the manager actually helped them first instead of addressing the situation. That alone left a bad impression. We ordered Mutton Dum Biryani and Bezawada Chicken Biryani, and the service continued to be extremely slow -- our food didn't arrive for more than 30 minutes. The Chicken Biryani tasted completely off: no salt, no spice, and no flavor, almost like it had been mixed with a bland curry. When we told the waiter, he said they would remake it, but since it was already late, they only gave us a replacement as a to-go box. The real issue happened today. While eating the leftovers for lunch, we found a bug inside the biryani (photo attached). Right after eating, my husband and I felt sick and we had to use the restroom immediately. This is extremely concerning for any restaurant, especially one serving meat dishes like biryani. This entire experience raises serious concerns about both the restaurant's hygiene and its management practices. We hope they take this seriously, but unfortunately, we will not be returning. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

This is a new place with nice and clean ambiance. It was crowded but it we got seated quickly. Service is bit slow but acceptable for Friday evening rush. We tried : lasooni ( garlic) chicken kabobs: They are very succulent and perfectly cooked. I would have loved more garlicky taste to it though. Hydrabadi chicken curry : we got this medium spicy. This curry has nice flavors , I enjoyed curry leaves aroma. Next time I will try spicy version. Garlic naan and mango lassi is very good. I also tried mint buttermilk- it is savory drink which helps in digestion. I loved it.

This seems like a higher end Indian restaurant. Clean. Nice tabling. A family style plac with some booths and tables mixed. The service was terrific and attentive. And the food was really something to try. Their tandoori chicken is one of the most delicious that I have tried. The lamb keema was rich and not oily. Perhaps a bit on the salty side, but quite something worth trying. The tasks daal was very nice as well and quite worth ordering. The chaas buttermilk was also very nice, though also a little salty for some, but not for me. We will be back!

We love exploring new biryani spots since it's a regular feature on our dinner table, and variety is always welcome. This time, we ordered the chicken dum biryani and boneless biryani, along with garlic naan and achari gosh. Our server Daniel was incredibly warm, attentive, and knowledgeable--he enthusiastically recommended the achari gosh and garlic naan, and both turned out to be absolutely finger-licking good. The naan was especially delightful--flaky, fresh, and served piping hot. While the biryani wasn't bad, we've tasted better options around the area. That said, we're curious to try their mutton biryani next time, along with some of the other curry dishes like Lal chicken and the various mutton preparations. With service as welcoming as Daniel's and some standout flavors, this place is definitely worth revisiting.p-pap

New place where saravana bhavan used to be. Interior decoration is nice. We ordered at the table (scan QR code). Food came fast. Chicken 65: juicy and soft chicken with lots of flavor. Not spicy at all. Kids loved it. I would have preferred a bit spicy. Goat Biryani: awesome salan. But goat was not that tasty. Quantity was huge though. Aromatic. I just didn't like the taste of goat. It needed more spice. I guess I am a biryani snob. Pakora: nice crispy. Will come back to try their extensive menu of appetizers and kababs.

This restaurant opened 1 week back! We went for dinner. The interior is lovely. We ordered the following items: Paneer butter masala Hyderabadi goat curry Vijaywada chicken biryani Chilli garlic and garlic naan All the items were great! The biryani quantity was very good. We will definitely be coming back and trying more items on the menu! I hope they keep up the quality!

Crispy cauliflower: a bit too tangy for me

Food, Ambience, Service: 5/5. We have been twice here and tried their goat biryani and bezwada biryani, and we loved both. I love their irani chai and naan as well. Karipatta is good too. Would definitely love to try other items on their menu.

My family and I, two adults and two young children, came here during Ramadan for iftaar. Before arriving, I specifically called ahead to ask whether we needed to come early because I understood restaurants can become very busy during iftaar time. I was told that arriving 10 to 15 minutes before iftaar would be perfectly fine and that our food would be ready around the time of breaking fast. Based on that reassurance, we came about 20 minutes before iftaar expecting a smooth experience. Instead, the moment we walked in, it felt like we were invisible. The restaurant was crowded but not chaotic. We sat down and waited while servers walked past us repeatedly without acknowledging us. Eventually, I had to flag someone down myself just to place an order. I even asked directly how long the food would take because we were fasting all day and had two small children with us. The server confidently assured us the food would arrive around iftaar time. That never happened. When iftaar finally arrived, all we received were dates and water. No appetizers, no main dishes, nothing. We continued waiting while table after table around us received their food. Meanwhile, our children became increasingly upset and hungry. Anyone with young kids knows that after a full day of fasting, asking them to wait another 20, 30, even 50 minutes is nearly impossible. Our kids were crying, exhausted, and confused as they watched other families eat while we sat there with empty plates. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of honesty and accountability. Every time we asked about our order, we were told, "It's coming soon." Then eventually the server disappeared entirely for nearly 20 minutes and avoided us altogether. A woman later approached us, but instead of apologizing or taking our concerns seriously, she became dismissive and defensive. By this point, nearly 50 minutes had passed since we ordered, and she still insisted we "shouldn't complain" (in Farsi) because the food would come "soon." That response was honestly more upsetting than the delay itself. A simple apology, honesty, or basic compassion toward a fasting family with small children would have gone a long way. We eventually left the restaurant feeling humiliated, disrespected, and deeply disappointed. What saddened me most is that this happened during Ramadan, a month centered around patience, generosity, hospitality, and good character. In Afghan culture and Islamic ethics, guests are supposed to be treated with dignity and care, especially during iftaar. Halal is not only about the food being permissible. Halal is also about honesty, fairness, respect, and how people are treated. Sadly, this restaurant failed in all of those areas. We will never return, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for respectful service or a welcoming family environment.

I've been wanting to try Chinese takeout places and I find this quite unique because they serve Chinese food in halal style. They also have a prayer room at the right side of the restaurant. While it's very quiet outside, the place looks very elegant and nice inside. I can see that they really have taken good care of it. Probably a place you can socialize with friends in a night outing. Meal portions are very massive, which can probably feed more than one person. Pretty much all the items are good. My only concern is the Orange Chicken because it looses its texture and gets very slimy. In other words, coating falls apart. This would have been one of the best Chinese restaurants I would go for takeouts but they only have 2-3 weeks left before they permanently close it. I recommend supporting this restaurant by visiting and even trying their foods before their closure. Food is really good here.

When seated after ordering, we were served with the signature Afghan bread with delicious spicy dipping sauce. The owner I presume also introduced us to two lovely dishes. The restaurant is small but enough room for few families. The owner and staff are really nice, they offered us a complementary butternut sauash bolani for us to try when we normally take potato bolani. We got variety of dishes like chicken/chapli, beef/chicken, beef/chapli etc. we were happy to see salaam Cola instead of coke/pepsi etc. the bolani was amazing and very fresh and crispy which is nicer than a softer texture. The rice came brown seasoned, but it was a bit lighter in color and flavor, would suggest try to make it more seasoned/heavier on flavor. The chapli was really good and had a peshawri like taste and texture. The chicken today pieces were large in size and color was just right. For some reason the chicken flavor didnt get all the way through. The ambiance was nice and it is a good addition to fremonts Afghan restaurants
