Came here on a Thursday evening--place was decently crowded but we were seated right away. We ordered the paneer roll, egg paneer roll, and honey chilli potatoes. The server mentioned a ~15-minute wait, but the potatoes came out pretty quickly. Overall, everything tasted good--nice flavors and a solid charred taste that stood out. Only downside was the pricing felt a bit high for the portion sizes. Still, a good experience taste-wise.

It was suggested by someone in family. The place is next to Farsha hookah place by same owner I believe. We opted to sit indoors to avoid any smoke/ smell. It was bustling on Saturday night. We ordered Romani roti, chicken Kathi roll, buttery chicken, mutton kabob and fries. Fries -3/5. They felt a bit stale Chicken -4.5/5 Mutton - 4/5 Kathi roll- 3.5/f. Felt the roti should be less doughy and baida(egg) layer was also too thick. Made it really heavy. Masala soda -5/5 Ambience - loud and great for family/friends outing/ drinking Service - quick. We couldn't understand one of our servers and someone else had to explain. Will be back to try more stuff. Parking- open parking.

***USP: true to their name, Indian dhaba (roadside eateries on Indian highways to cater to long haul drivers, road trippers) style food with a limited but epic menu. ***FOOD: limited menu- kebabs, rumali roti, wraps and chowmein. We were hungry when we arrived so we ordered and sampled almost every item on the menu. Here's the good and the mediocre. They know how to cook kebabs well, be it the mutton or chicken so definitely get them! The kebabs have a smoky tandoor cooked flavor. The chicken was smothered in some yogurt butter gravy, it was intoxicatingly delicious paired with the rumali roti. The chow mein reminded me of the version we get on Indian streets, greasy, peppery and umami rich. It will be unlike other versions you had before so definitely get this as well. I absolutely savored this, especially with the crunchy peppers. Wraps: they served the same kebabs in a wrap version. I didn't particularly like the wrap itself, they might have made it in house but it tasted like a store bought tortilla to me. The sauce used didn't have sufficient flavor as well.

I'd been wanting to go to their food truck for years after watching Indian movies in Fremont and never managed to due to some reason or the other. Finally decided to drive here on a Friday evening and it was worth it! It was quite crowded late on a Friday around 9 (as expected) but thankfully we didn't have to wait. They actually take table bookings over phone. Food came out pretty quick. Paneer Tikka - 5/5. Really well spiced, quite soft, and juicy. Large pieces of paneer too, like it that way. Buttery Chicken Tikka - 4/5. We asked for less butter and I think they did a good job of it. Flavor and sauce was true to its name and it was cooked well. Reduced a star probably because it wasn't as juicy as the paneer. Rumali Roti - 4/5. I absolutely LOVE Rumali Roti and it's really hard to find. Making it a "duh" order if see it. True to its name, it was really thin and well made (unfortunately forgot to click a picture), could have been slightly softer if I'm being critical. We still ordered a second set, lol! Each set comes with 2 Rumali roti's and I think it's quite reasonably priced for how exclusive it is. Definitely see myself coming back, probably to have some beers as well next time along with my food. Maybe for a work happy hour?

I had buttery chicken tikka kebab multiple times. Love the juiciness of chicken and creamy buttery sauce flavor. Mouthwatering stuff. Service was good and ambience was great. I also had egg chicken roll which is also great.

Keeku da Dhaba is true to its name - a rustic, casual, roadside eatery at heart that has worked its way up in Fremont from a food truck to now setting up a proper restaurant. We were meaning to try this place for a long time and finally made plans with another family to try it out today. The inside is cosy and there's tongue-in-cheek humor spattered across the decor and even the glassware (check out the pictures). We loved it. The menu is straightforward and limited. Honestly, I prefer places that have a limited menu. It means the things I order will most likely be fresh, will taste good, and will be served hot. There are eateries that have a whole binder full of menu items that go for pages and you know there's a good chance half of it won't be fresh. The server, Garson, came to us promptly to take our orders. We had the Egg Chicken Roll, the Butter Chicken Tikka, the Lamb Seekh Kebab, and some roomali rotis. The roll was tasty, the chicken kebabs were nice. Honestly, though, flavor-wise they were a little one-dimensional and mild. I saw the pictures and they usually come drenched in butter but we asked them to go easy on the butter so my arteries will probably thank me for that decision. The show stoppers for me were the seekh kebabs and the rotis. The seekhs were tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned. And the roomali rotis - Hands down the best I've had in years. So thin, they are almost see-through. Soft yet flaky. The roti, kebabs and the green chili chutney were a perfect combination. And we had a beer to wash it down. They have such a good collection of fresh-on-the-tap beers and even cocktails. Definitely recommend trying this place out if you haven't already. I'll be back to try their fish tikkas and paneer rolls next time.

My dinner this evening at Keeku da Dhaba is one of my top meals of 2025. Their menu is small - with only kebabs and few wraps, but every single item we ordered was phenomenal. Unlike most Indian restaurants, Keeku has a special type of flatbread -- a "rumali roti". Unlike a fluffy naan that's baked in a tandoori oven, the roti here is paper thin. If you've had Peking duck at a fancy Chinese restaurant before -- where you construct your own wraps with duck, plum sauce, and spring onions, the roti reminds me of the type of wrapper you use to make a duck pancake. On its own it's not particularly flavorful, but it's the perfect vehicle for everything else on the table. Between the four of us, we got an order of paneer tikka, butter chicken, two orders of mutton, and two orders of roti. This ended up being a ton of food, and we ended up taking much of the chicken home to go. Don't sleep on the green sauce on the table. It's spicy, herbaceous, and goes well with everything, even the roti on its own. The mutton is packed with a cornucopia of fragrant spices and is bursting with flavor. The tender, juicy chicken used in the butter chicken tasted like chicken thigh and had a perfect balance between fat and lean parts. Like the green sauce, the butter chicken sauce you'll want to sop up every last bit with roti. It's rich and decadent, so you'll definitely want some lemon juice and/or some sliced slivers of raw onions to pair with the chicken to balance things out. The wide array of dry spices generously dusted over the grilled pieces of paneer reminds me of the heavy seasoning you'd find on cumin lamb skewers (but obviously different). The heavy hitting punches of flavor do not stop at Keeku with every dish. I cannot say enough good words about my delicious meal and cannot wait to bring my friends here.

Amazing Indian-style grilled meats! I was introduced to this place by a friend, and I'm so glad we tried it out as the food was delicious. My party of 4 stopped by Thursday evening around 7:30 pm and sat inside, though they have outdoor seating as well. The menu is super straightforward. There's no curries or anything, just a selection of grilled meats and paneer as well as some kathi rolls. They also have honey chili potatoes and veg chow mein for Indo-Chinese. We tried the following: buttery chicken tikka ($14) mutton seekh kabab ($14) fish tikka ($14) - only available Wed and Thur We also ordered some rumali roti to share, and one friend also tried the paneer kathi roll ($14). Everything was super delicious. Of the meats, the seekh kabab was hands down the favorite of the table, but the chicken tikka was good as well. It was interesting because the chicken is served in a creamy yogurt sauce, which we weren't expecting. Both meats tasted great wrapped in the super thin rumali roti. The fish tikka was also good, but next time I would probably skip this and leave some more stomach space for the chicken and mutton :) My friend really loved the paneer roll, said it was the best he's had in a long time. I tried a bite and agreed that it was delicious, even though I'm generally not a huge fan of paneer. I didn't eat much of the honey chili potatoes, but the taste was authentic and exactly the same as what I've had in India. Portions were generous for the price, and I'm not sure how we managed to finish all the food as we definitely over ordered.

Went to try this place because it seemed like a good place! It definitely was busy but it's so hard to figure out what's going on. There's too many things happening without much staff or direction and that is difficult. Food was good but seemed like a bit above the generic Indian food. Paneer was probably my favorite out of everything. Hoping they expand the menu and maybe get more staff to get a sense of direction for visitors. We couldn't tell if there was a wait list or we sit at a table, people passing by and pushing in. They do turn tables fast.

Finally, Keeka da Dhaba has a restaurant! Used to go to their food truck a lot, but stopped because their service was slow. But ever since I came to know they had opened a restaurant, I had to go check it out. Butter chicken tikka: the quintessential item is my go-to. Pair it with the soft rumali roti and you have an amazing meal. Classic! I also tried their Paneer tikka: flavorful and soft. I must give shoutout to the ambience as well: as soon as you enter, you will see a "I heart Delhi" sign which is great, and they also have a bar area with some fun, quirky posters! The ambience is pretty nice (indoors and outdoors): could be a go-to place to hang out friends/family and have an amazing meal. Fremont (and surrounding) needed such spots.

Now in its new location on Mission at Las Palmas. Open late, even on Sunday, with tons of beverage options making it a great place for hanging out. Grill out front is still churning out those delicious kebabs and now there are plenty of booths and tables where you can enjoy your meal without worrying about being run over by harried shoppers in the Bharat Bazaar parking lot. So happy to see this wonderful food truck find a brick-and-mortar home, and wishing them continued success!

Vegetarian Reviewer: Last time I went there, they used to be right next to Bharat Bazar. The food was really greasy, with a lot of ghee/oil on the side. But the taste was fantastic -- I absolutely loved their paneer tikka and egg paneer roll. It was a little pricey at about $12 -- roughly $2 per piece. The roll was similarly priced but filling and super tasty. I would highly recommend it to satisfy a craving for yummy Indian food! The vibe was also good with lights and people around. I placed an order for paneer tikka and went grocery shopping in Bharat Bazar. The order was ready a few minutes after I got back. There was enough parking in the lot.

Pains me writing this review as I was a big fan of his food truck. The restaurants vibe is not so good when you enter, definitely can't go with Family. Seems like even the server had smoken before serving us. Had to wait for almost 1.5hrs before my food order was served. I ordered chowmein, honey chili potato as starter which was so bad in taste, only constant was the paneer. Its next to a hookah shop and you can smell the hookah smoke in the restaurant as well. Definitely not visiting again for dine in. Forgot to take the receipt so adding the transaction from my credit card.

She was cleaning the entire time, so not like she wasn't doing anything but by the end of our very disappointing meal, I was chewing on the ice in my empty drink cup trying to hydrate. Both my husband and I ordered the burnt ends plate. They seem to be a pretty popular item and I notice they upcharge for them on certain plates. These burnt ends were TERRIBLE on both our plates. They were so tough and dry, and were so hard to chew through that I couldn't really eat more than 1/2 of what was on my plate. My cornbread was super dry too, the dollop of butter that was on top didn't do much justice. Greens were the best thing on the plate.. but lacked serious flavor. At least the salt & pepper on the table helped with those. Our tab was around $60 for two plates, an unsweetened iced tea & a sprite (that were never refilled) and it pained me to pay for food to literally be thrown away because it was inedible. Coming from someone who works in the food service industry, that hurt. It's a shame because I remember this place being so good and I wanted to really enjoy my experience again. Maybe the kitchen had an off day and rushed the process on the burnt ends.. I don't know. But they should really test them out before sending them out in the future. I really dislike giving not great reviews... but sometimes we just can't let things like these slide. We all work too hard to be spending our hard earned money on bad food that pretty much ends up going to waste.

While I understand that this is the new way for restaurants to serve guests post-covid, the vast menu items you have to scroll through makes me long for physical menus of the past - but that's just my boomer take for the day. There were a bunch of other items like rice and noodle dishes that looked interesting to pair with the meats, but we were only craving bbq so we skipped out on the carbs. We ordered a BUNCH of skewers, from the standard beef, lamb, pork belly to chicken skin and a fried quail. All of the skewers had the same type of dried chili powder spice seasoning mix so unfortunately there wasn't too much of a diversity in flavor profile but on the flip side, it allowed us to focus more on enjoying the meat quality itself (this is where rice or noodles would definitely help cut through the richness). All of the meats were incredibly well-cooked and charred. It is on the drier side, so be aware if you are looking for a juicier, plumper cut of meat that some other restaurants have. Paired with the Chinese vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil, they were super delectable. My personal favorites were the pork belly, chicken skin, and beef. We had some leftovers to go and the staff provided us some extra sauce to go so that's a big plus. Great food here and definitely will be back to try more of the other menu items for the full experience.

Didn't ask if I could wait or checked how long I've already waited. Again, I totally understand the chaos during a Saturday dinner and try very best to empathize with services. But also, I think the way it was handled is quite unprofessional and tone deaf. I don't think it was necessary for anyone to give me a call, if I ordered through the system, I wish there's a way for the restaurant to notify the wait time through their text/online system, just like their waitlist. If they really don't want people to flake on their orders, maybe take card deposits or text confirmation or something. All in all, I won't be going there anytime soon. Their business is doing well and certainly doesn't need our money.

Sweet Crisp Duck - Garlic meat? Tasteless, oily, we didn't even touch the whole dish.

Refreshing Cold Noodles and a Great Variety of Skewers…read more This was a standout meal that balanced comfort and something a little different. I came in mostly curious about the skewers, but the cold noodles ended up being the surprise highlight. Cold Noodles If you're on the fence about cold noodle soup -- get this. The broth is lightly tangy and deeply refreshing without being overly sweet or vinegary. The noodles had the perfect bite, and the sliced cucumber added crunch and brightness. Topped with two soft-boiled eggs and fresh cilantro, it was simple but extremely satisfying. On a hot day, this hits the spot in a way hot ramen just can't. And even though it's light and chilled, it's still filling. Grilled Skewers There were a lot of unique options and cuts -- lamb, chicken, beef, and more. Each skewer was well seasoned and cooked properly, with a good char but never dry. The flavors leaned slightly smoky with a hint of spice, and the meat was tender. It's a great way to try a few different proteins without committing to a big entrée. Overall Experience There was a bit of a language barrier when ordering, but the staff was friendly and made sure everything came out as expected. The service was fast, and the atmosphere was casual but comfortable. If you're looking for something outside the usual ramen or hot pot spots, this is absolutely worth visiting. Great variety, excellent flavors, and that cold noodle bowl alone makes it worth the trip. Highly recommended

I really wanted to like this place based on previous reviews. However, when you enter the…read morerestaurant and see ABSOLUTELY no other patrons, you get suspicious. We ordered a whole duck to-go. We got home and it was COLD. Like it was sitting in the refrigerator for days and they just repacked it for sale. After warning it up, it was evident that this duck wasn't made fresh. Parts of it were so tough and dry it was equivalent to jerky. If you like your duck DAYS OLD, I repeat.... DAYS OLD and DRY, get it from here. For me, I will never return again.

Sweet Crisp Duck - This is how they dry one of their vegetables. No wonder it tastes so good.
