Not a good restaurant for a price to food quality not recommended at all in fremont. Need improvement and super oily food.

Very Bad Experience! The food is so expensive and not worth it. They're looting people with crazy prices. Moreover it not healthy food as the food contain lot of oil as shown in the picture. I recommend people to avoid such and look for a different best food and prices.

Restaurant's interior is vibrant. I really like their wall decor that expresses their culture. The mandi was definitely delicious. I would come back here for this. Margh (marag) was not overpowering with spices. Just taste perfect for me. Will not be my go-to though as it is a bit oily. Service? Well, prople were really nice but getting the food to our table was slow. I would give 3 stars for the service, but cant separate the review for service and food taste

Tried takeout from this place on a Friday evening. I tried rumali roti and paneer 65 combo. I called and placed the order - hoping to try the vegetarian food here and the food was ready in about 20ish minutes. The roomali roti was thin and a little wispy for my liking - maybe it tastes best in the restaurant warm and just off the pan. The paneer 65 was disappointing. It felt like the paneer was just stir fried in something and it felt very last minute like. It lacked salt or had very little to no masala. Probably gonna skip this place for lack of vegetarian food.

This is restaurant is much better for takeaway than sit down. Everything kind of tastes the same and that's where the food loses its authenticity if you want to try a variety of dishes because everything slowly starts merging into each other. One entree and one main kinda place

Eats- Zafrani Chicken biryani. Chicken mandi, Reshmi kabob and butter naan Loved their Zafrani Biryani's and Kabob. Mandi was okay but Biryani's take the top spot. Apricot creme is decent but a bit sweeter than i expected, Would definitely go back when i have Biryani cravings

The food was excellent--we especially loved the Paneer 65 and rumali roti. The ambience and décor were beautiful and made the restaurant feel very inviting. Unfortunately, the front-desk staff member seemed grumpy and unwelcoming, which spoiled the overall experience. Despite the good food, we probably won't return.

Food is pretty average to be honest. Chicken Reshmi kebab was bone dry and came without any chutney. Nizami Mutton came with one rumali roti. Mutton pieces were super soft but very few. Zaffrani chicken dum biryani was disappointing, no flavor, no dry fruits, no hint of saffron. Irani chai was the only decent thing. Not coming back to this again. Service is limited and ambience is good.

Attempted to dine here, but closed by health department until 'further notice'. Not a great sign....

Amazing food!!! We especially loved the pathar ka gosht and haleem! They have a really unique blend of Arabic and Indian food to create an awesome combination of food. My family loved the biryani and chai and we were impressed by the ambiance and decoration. I will definitely come back!

Just had an amazing meal at Falaknuma and I'm still thinking about it! This spot brings you the boldest Hyderabadi & Arabian flavors under one roof -- everything we ordered was packed with taste and left us super full and happy. Here's what I ordered: Irani Chai with Bun Maska Chicken 65 with Rumali Roti Tandoori Chicken Chicken Mandi Zafrani Goat Dum Biryani Royal Fruit Treat Every single dish hit the spot -- from the spicy, crispy Chicken 65 to the aromatic Goat Biryani that melts in your mouth. The Irani Chai + Bun Maska combo was the perfect cozy start, and that Royal Fruit Treat? A sweet ending done right.

Interesting new Indian (and Arabian?) restaurant in Fremont. The restaurant is small but well organized; it's self service - order your food, get your plates and cutlery, pick your order number sign and take a seat. They do bring food to the table. And when you are done, you go get to-go boxes yourself. No fuss. The menu also is limited but looks like they are focusing on quality and efficiency versus variety. We had the Pathar Ghosht (Goat meat on a hot stone), and Chicken 65 - both served with Roomali Roti. Definitely their best dishes and both go really well with what probably is the most authentic Roomali Roti I've had in the Bay Area in years. We also had the Zafrani Chicken Dum Biryani which was also good. The portions are generous, like really generous for the price, which is great. The biryani, while flavorful, was too mild. I understand they are catering to a wider customer base but I wish they had atleast increased the heat on the saalan (chili based gravy served as a side with the Biryani). Overall, I am glad we tried the place. Waiting to see how their menu evolves over the years....

Grilled chicken

Please don't fool customers in the name of Hyderabadi food. I paid $38 expecting flavorful Hyderabadi-style chicken, but it was hard, dry, and almost tasteless. It felt like plain roasted chicken. Charging this much for this quality is extremely disappointing and feels like a waste of money. At least serve authentic taste and quality for the price you charge.

The portions are generous and we ended up with leftovers to take back home. We also received a complimentary gulab jamun creme brulee since I was part of their mailing list and a pistachio tiramisu to celebrate our special occasion. Wanted to start my 2026 year with a review for a spot in my hometown of Fremont. I would say it's in a weird area since it's sandwiched between many condos/townhomes that are made by Toll Brothers and Lennar and very close to the Tesla Car Plant. Unless you are specifically coming here to eat, I do not think you would normally cross this place. [[ Service ]] Since it's currently not very busy (very surprised since the food is good), the owner and the chef come around often to make sure everything is alright and tasting delicious. They were both very friendly and very easy to talk to. Service was very good! [[ Food ]] I'm always on the lookout for good deals and already came back twice for their lunch menu which starts at $14.99 and comes with Dal, Rice, & Plain Naan. I think its spectacular value and quite filling as well. Menu items I have already tried: 1.) Chicken Tikka Masala 2.) Methi Malai Chikcien 3.) Chicken Korma (they just updated their menu so this is no longer on there) 4.) Mango Lassi Their Naan is quite good and I recommend upgrading to the Garlic Naan which made it even better! [[ Conclusion ]] I really hope they stick around longer because I'm happy i found a new place to eat that is not too far away for me. They also have a second location in Newark so if you live there, feel free to try it!

Yelp knows me pretty well by now. It knows I like Indian food, so Vande Bharat kept popping up in…read moremy recommendations. It's been sitting there for a while, so the wifey and I finally decided to drive down to Milpitas and give this Thali place a try. I'm glad we did because their Thali is probably one of the best we've had, if not the best. FYI Thali is LUNCH only. Here is my take. Food (4.5 stars) +The Combo Thali for around $18 is the way to go. Don't overthink it and don't order anything else. You get a little bit of everything, which is exactly why we like Thali. If there's something you don't like, just give it to your partner. My wife doesn't like lamb, so I ended up with double lamb. Bonus for me! + Lamb curry was probably my favorite. Tender meat with a flavorful curry and it went perfectly with the rice. Since my wife donated hers to me, I had plenty! + Fried fish is also very good. You don't get a huge piece, but with so many other things on the plate, it's enough. That's the beauty of Thali--you get a few bites of everything instead of committing to one giant dish. + Chicken curry was also good. Nothing on the plate really needs to be eaten by itself because everything complements each other. You get savory, spicy, sour and even a little sweet throughout the meal. + There are also the usual Thali sides like dal, sumbar, yogurt, dessert and another sour/soupy dish. Rice sits right in the middle and you basically mix and match your way through the entire plate. + I also really like the papadum. It's that thin crispy Indian cracker that gives you a nice crunchy break between all the curries and softer foods. ~ PRO TIP: The only thing to consider is whether you prefer a Thali or an Indian buffet. At a buffet, you can essentially get many of these same types of dishes and eat as much as you want. With a Thali, you're getting smaller portions of everything. Personally, I like the variety and having everything served together, especially when the combo is only around $18. Service/Ambiance (4.5 stars) + We came during lunch and there was only one other customer while we were there, so service was good and the food came out rather quickly. + The restaurant has some really nice paintings along the walls. Some of the scenery almost looked Mediterranean to me, although I'm assuming they're depicting places somewhere in India. Either way, they add some character to the restaurant. + It's a comfortable, casual place to sit down and enjoy a Thali without much fuss. GET THE COMBO! You get fish, lamb, chicken, rice, dal, sides, dessert and all the little extras that make eating Thali fun. Between the two of us, if one person doesn't like something, the other person probably will. In my case, that strategy resulted in double lamb, so I definitely wasn't complaining. Wifey gives Vande Bharat 4.5 stars and I'm right there with her. For the price, variety and flavors, this is easily one of our favorite Thali meals we've had. Yelp got this recommendation right!

Finally tried this place that came highly recommended from friends as a top Indian restaurant…read more It is a new restaurant with around 10 tables so quite small. Being small, it is a bit crowded and noisy. The best time to go in the evening is 8pm or before. Most Indians in US still eat their dinner after 8 pm, closer to 9pm so Indian restaurants will packed around 8:30pm. We ordered veg hakka noodles, Delhi dhaba chicken, butter naan, goat tawa, mango lassi and spiced nimbu paani. Veg hakka noodles was spicy but tangy and delicious. Large quantity. Kid loved it. Goat was very fresh, melt in mouth kind, and goat tawa was easily one of the best dishes. Delhi Dhaba chicken was authentic dhaba style that you get in India. Absolutely great. Butter naan very soft and crispy and goes well with dhaba chicken. Mango lassi and Nimbu paani very good as well. Menu pricing is great. Not too expensive and they give enough quantity that one entree and 1 naan is filling for an average adult. Kudos to the owner. This restaurant will be packed very soon when the word gets out. It is fairly new.

But I think the quality of this culture's restaurant fare is finally catching up with the population. Often the 2nd/3rd waves of businesses benefit from what they can learn from past ventures. Very casual service. I went on a weeknight and it was pretty much just a young girl tending to the tables. Not sure if that's their normal mode but she just seemed like a family member trying to hold fort versus someone who is versed in service. I've tried many things off of 2 visits, here's some notes. Dal Tadka ($12/4.5*) Theirs is looser/more liquid-y but still full of flavor. Spicing and aromatics on point. Great dip with any of their breads. Roti ($4/4.5*) A super thin, hand-stretched flat bread. Once it hits that hot pan it poofs into a balloon. When ripped apart is so tender and subtle. A little oily tho. Vegetable Pakora ($6/3.5*) A crisp and battered vegetable fritter. Veggies not as diverse as I would expect, pretty much peppers and onions and maybe 1 other veg. Batter was more a soft bready texture versus crisp and lacey. Pretty spicy too, got me to sweat unexpectedly. The chutneys that accompany were both really good, one sweet and tangy and another creamy and herbaceous. Half Tandoori Chicken ($12/3*) Decent marinade and flavor, tasted the part. Except the way the chicken was cut was very erratic, almost like it was cut without any skill or know how of chicken anatomy. Hacked in a weird way. Also the char was a bit too ambitious on several parts. I think applying char on grilled meats is a skill. A little clumsy here. Mushroom Matar ($14/3.5*) Nice big chunks of button mushrooms swim in a rich tomato Indian gravy, layered with spices. Kinda sweet which threw me off, I guess I just prefer savory over sweet. Aloo Naan ($5/4*) This is a grilled naan with mashed potato in the middle. It is a nice variation to change things up a bit. Much more filling too than just regular naan. I'd get this again. Lamb Curry ($18/4.5*) Very good rendition but very oily on top. I got this to-go so it was quite easily to remove the top layer of oil. But the lamb was tender, mostly lean cubes but with a few that had a bit of fat/collagen bits and I found those to be much tastier. The curry gravy was super legit, very layered and rich. Just the right amount of spicing without going overboard. I can make a meal just from the gravy and some warm flatbread and/or rice. Paratha ($6/5*) This is another Indian flatbread but this has a unique ruffle to it and has a more fried yet substantial bite. I think they use a whole wheat flour and to me is just an awesome toothsome bread bite. Probably my favorite Indian bread as of late. I get this all the time now, and the version here is tops. So not all hits but this is still pretty solid. Solid enough that this can be a staple in my local rotation. Hope they can hang around for a while.
