This location skimps out on the sauce compared to the location Santa Clara. The picture below shows their soy garlic wings, which pretty much tasted like their original flavor with no sauce. You can clearly see the wings that have no sauce covered on them. I'm not sure why this extremely low level of quality is allowed to leave the kitchen. The underdressing of wings has happened twice to me now from this location, it's a shame. Honey garlic: The combination of the sweetness of the honey and the fresh garlic was great in the mouth. The flavors weren't powerful to put you off. I must say their honey garlic flavor chicken was tasty and delicious! And that crunch was satisfying. The chicken that I got was not very meaty but the flavor carried the meal for me. The service was lackluster, however. I got there and ordered, paid, but didn't leave a tip just because I don't do that just after ordering my food. I mean what was I going to base my tip for? I was gonna tip after I finish my meal. I sat down, checked my receipt, and it said it was for to-go order but the cashier never asked if I were to eat there or not. I did not bother going up to ask. After about 30 minutes, the server called my name and I picked up my food in a to-go bag. I sat down and started eating my food as I intended to dine in. I used the to-go bag as my plate and started chowing down because I was too hungry. Again, I enjoyed my food. However, the guy who seemed to be the only server there at that time before noon didn't bother going up and asked if I needed a pitcher of the water that he served to the other customers. He kept going back and forth to the two customers in front of me, serving them, but he not once checked in on me even if I'm in front of him eating. Good thing I had my own water to drink. I just didn't bother asking because my transaction was assumed as to-go order (which again was not my intention; I was there to dine in). My food was missing the radish, too btw. I finished my food satisfied, but with the service, not so much at all. Place is nice, spacious, and clean. Would I ever come back? Absolutely! lots of new BB.q chicken shops popping up recently, the lunch deal is a great value, might be enough for two. This particular location replaced the old vons and in location is noticeably nicer, they don't have the nasty smell of chicken in the air like the old vons did and it is a nice place to eat. Have tried the cheesling fries twice so far, once here and at another bbq chicken, this place had less sweet seasoning and a bit more savory which I prefer because my first try of cheesling fries were way too sweet(unappetizingly sweet almost), they also hold up well if you put them through the air fryer again sooooo good. Have been told that service is a bit slow, but I think that's about how fast it takes to get fried chicken if you walk in and order like any other place so it's probably best to call in an order read more

We placed an online order at 11am for pickup at 2:30pm and even now at 4pm there are no updates and a crowd of other upset patrons who have been waiting for their food. No communication on how long it'll take and no one willing to look at the tickets to let you know how many orders are ahead of you. The irony is that they have a big sign that says order ahead for fast, easy, guaranteed takeout for the Super Bowl. No consolations or apologies, just a bunch of employees that don't care about how unprofessional they're being. I love bb.q chicken and have been to locations in Korea, LA, and the Bay. Unfortunately, this is the worst location I've been to. My first visit, our togo order took a very long time to come out and they forgot the pickled radish... Our chicken was juicy and the Rose Tteokbokki was good though! This second visit was definitely something... The chicken was juicy, but very overly sauced. Absolutely drenched in sauce, even the Soy Garlic, which is usually less saucy. We also got the Cheesling Fries, which I didn't know was supposed to have the sweet red sauce on top? Kind of weird and ruined the fries a bit. The cherry on top was our pickled radish. I ordered 2 sides of it because I thought it didn't come free with every order anymore, so we had a total of 4. 1 of 4 was pickled... The other 3 (2 we paid extra for!) was not pickled at all and was sitting in WATER! I sipped all 3 of them to check. I was in disbelief, how do you mess up the pickled radish. Might have to make the drive to the Sunnyvale or Brokaw locations, Milpitas needs to step it up! read more
