I felt like the food was overpriced. Hubby ordered Chicago styled chicken with a waffle. I ordered the brisket egg skillet. The waffle was delicious has a taste of cinnamon sugar in the batter. My skillet was good the only thing I didn't like was that the peppers weren't finely chopped. When our food arrived, we had to ask for silverware twice and pepper/salt. Solely leaving this review for constructive feedback. We've tried to eat here on numerous occasions and the wait was for an hour and 30. However today it was an hour wait so we decided to wait. Once we were sat we were greeted promptly by our server. She was very polite and attentive once we got our food. The food took an hour to get to us and it was hot! That was a great thing! However the flavor wasn't really there and it felt like everything needed salt. The amount of food you get isn't a lot for the price. The food looked better than it tasted. I think overall new systems could replace the current systems to help turn tables faster. However the kitchen plays a big part. The menu was pretty overwhelming and I wouldn't mind if the choices were narrowed down. Probably would help the kitchen speed up their delivery. I think operations is the reason why things are so slow. The portion size compared to price doesn't align. The seating was uncomfortable and you can't sit back in the chairs. I feel that creating a more comfortable atmosphere and vibe would help smooth over the long wait. Perhaps offer free biscuits or some type of entertainment for the long wait times. My daughter and I ate breakfast there yesterday for the first time. We were disappointed because after waiting for more than 30 minutes the food was cold. I mentioned it to the server and she just said "Sorry." I had to stop the server to ask for refills on coffee and extra napkins. Maybe the servers should check in on the tables they were tending to. The biscuits were huge and the coffee was hot. They also served a strawberry jam that was delicious. The decor that hung on one wall was nice. We waited maybe about 15 mins for our food. But it was worth the wait. The Food definitely had that from scratch taste. You can tell everything is freshly prepared. I had lemon blueberry pancakes, they were delicious. The chicken wings were seasoned perfectly as well. Marc had the beef brisket breakfast bowl, he said it was really good as well. I also had an iced latte mocha, which had me glued from the first sip. We also met one of the owners Jeremiah, we wanted to pitch a partnership with him and the conversation quickly turned into a cool vibe. He's really down to earth. I had the chicken and fries and also ordered the Titi's special, which includes chicken and waffles, candied yams, smothered cabbage, Mac and Cheese. You can choose to have bone in chicken wings or bone one out that is a chicken finger. I tried everything but the yams as I am not a fan of any kind of sweet potatoes (but I was told they were good). The French fries were seasoned well, Mac and cheese was creamy and cheesey...smothered cabbage was not soggy and had great flavor and the waffle was really good... might have been my favorite item. The chicken wings were good...the coating was crunchy but could have used a lil more seasoning for me... or they have an option of getting like lemon pepper or bbq wings... so that might be better. Today was my second visit here and I was excited to have a day date with my boys. I FINALLY had a weekend off and chose this establishment for brunch. Everything started off fine with a 20 min wait. No complaints because I really wanted to eat here. Once seated it took a while to order our drinks but all is still well. One of my sons ordered a strawberry shake and when my mimosa and my other son's sprite was delivered he was informed that they were no longer making shakes. This is not a big deal however how our waiter handled this I did not appreciate and just continued to downward spiral from here. He was being overly nice and was pushing for my son to have him order a smoothie that he knew he would like but to trust the flavor he would choose for him. I could tell my son was not sold on this option but he kept insisting that he trust that he would enjoy it. My son was about to give in but I told my son to relook over the menu and choose an option that he wanted. My son's order was put in and we were now also barely getting our waters that we had ordered back with our original drink order. More time passes and we are now ready to order our food. We all ordered what we wanted and here's where it gets worse. A lot of time has passed and our food is taking a long time but ok we can be patient so I ordered another mimosa. So by now my drink is taking a while to come out. I ask my waiter what's taking so long on my drink and he says he'll go look into it. Some more time passes and just as I'm about ready to ask again what's going on I see him at the front with my drink and getting it ready to bring to my table. I now ask what's taking our food so long and he again says he will look into it. I shouldn't have needed to continue to ask what's taking so long. Had our waiter kept our table informed of what's going on and what's taking so long we would have been understanding. Instead I hear him being overly kind and flirtatious to a large group behind me and spending lots of time there and not taking care of our table in an attentive manner. I know how this all works. Those tactics may work on others but we were hungry and those sales tactics wouldn't work on us. I finally got up and went to the front where he was at to please get an update on our food. I mentioned he is too busy off flirting with the table next to us to give us an update on our food. Well he did not like that at all and he turned his back on me and squatted down to work on something else. Keep in mind I never once raised my voice during this whole interaction. Because he refused to now talk to me another waiter asked how she could help and all i wanted to know is how much longer will our food take. She then proceeds to tell me she will find out and send someone over to help us. Now the supervisor has come over to assist us and let us know our food will be out shortly. I informed her it's been taking a long time and had our waiter been communicating with us what was going on we would have been just fine however he kept spending so much time chatting with the table next to us instead of balancing all his tables equally and giving each table the same time and respect. So more time granny and I see someone come out with what I think is our food. He tries to deliver it to a different table that was also next to us and he finds out it's not there's and then walks back to the front to find out whose it is and then gets redirected to us. Finally our food starts to make it to the table only to find out 2 waffles don't have the extra toppings I added and my sons pancake has powdered sugar on it and he asked to not have it on there. I send it back to be fixed. Not too long after that I look over towards one of my sons and he just looks sad and I make the decision to just pay for my drinks. We have had enough and we are just ready to leave. I walk to the front to pay and the supervisor helps me check out. She offers to deduct the food and tells us to stay and eat. I then inform her she's done absolutely nothing wrong but we are all so unhappy that we just want to leave. She then offers to box up the food for us to take and I let her know that I don't want the food we just want to leave please charge me for our drinks. The supervisor was very nice and helpful but by that point we were done, hungry, and upset. This was again my first weekend off in a long time and I was trying to do something special for me and my boys. Once we left we drove over to Dennys and had a way better experience, environment, and service. We will absolutely never visit this establishment again. read more

We first waited about 30 mins for a table even though there were empty tables inside and they decided not to seat outside this day. To start there seems like there's no system for assigning the waiters to tables. After sitting in a table for almost 12 minutes somebody finally came by to say "has anybody helped you yet?" We then ordered our drinks and food to save time. 10 mins later we got water. Servers seem to be more concerned with having conversations with other staff and tables than they are in taking orders and bringing food. After an hour of being seated I got my food, but my wife did not. I had to finally ask about her food and then they brought it When we asked the staff if it always takes this long to get your food, they said yes typically and they seem to pride themselves on the fact that they're a scratch kitchen, but the food was bland and not that great. I only had pancakes, eggs, sausage, and bacon... how long can that take? Unfortunately, their recipe for service is a disaster. FUQ BATTERS!!!! Theyll hv u wait all day just to give you the wrong order.. simple things like biscuits and gravy. They will send you home with the biscuits and no gravy or forget the bacon I went today. They had me wait for over 30 minutes just to tell me that order will be out shortly. My husband brought me here and my overall experience was just ok. I didn't know what to expect but it wasn't overly pleasing. We were able to be seated right away, in the corner. The waitress came out and was nice but everything took forever to come out. Coffee and water took about 10 mins and the food itself took another 30 minutes. Then, I had to ask another waiter for a kids menu because our waiter wasn't to be found. Once she came back to get our order it took about 45min to receive our food. Which I don't think it is long wait time for food. But our waiter disappeared again so we had to ask other waiters for utensil, salt and pepper and more water. The food on there hand didn't have that favor profile that I was looking for. The chicken was under season just a pinch but fried prefect. Please don't put on the Chicago style chicken and waffle when you give us a thin waffle which is the same thickness as your pancake. That's not Chicago style. Chicago waffles are close to the thickness of Belgium waffle. Everything else we ordered it just tasted ok. The checking out process was decent the only thing is that they charge a service fee, then they ask for a tip. Overall, this is just an ok place. It's not what it is hyped up to be. Extensive Brunch Menu My post is a month overdue. This was our first visit to this brunch establishment. I must say the menu was overwhelming with so many interesting food items that excited our palate. As well, the cocktail and non-cocktail menu varies from smoothies to mimosas. There is something for everyone. We were quite hungry and ordered rather on the safe side; so we had the loaded beef brisket omelette; and the chicken and French toast. Our waitress was patient with us answering questions and giving us recommendations. She actually recommended the lavender and coconut mimosa, which was not on the menu. The portion size was good of our food and other plates brought out the kitchen were good sizes. Overall the omelette was good. Just not enough flavor for me and I felt like there could have been a little more meat. The chicken and French toast were good. The mimosa was delicious. We ordered beignets, but they never were brought to the table. Titi's Soul Food is the most popular and it is plenty of food. I plan to get that next time. I would recommend this restaurant, as there are definitely enough choices to find your favorite. Note: The restaurant is on the smaller size, but does have some outside seating; so there may be a wait time. We went on a Sunday at 2 pm, and the wait time was 45 minutes, but due to someone not showing for their table we were seated within 5 minutes. Our service could have been better; as we did not see our waitress again until she came to clear our table. Also, check your receipt before paying. We noticed the beignets and 15% gratuity was already on the bill (however when bill is brought to you it shows you the total and ask how much gratuity you want to add.
