Staying close by at the Fairfield Inn we decided to check this place out. It's part of the Holiday Inn. It's a hotel lobby restaurant. Has a full bar with happy hour pricing. The menu is pretty good. Wife had the chicken wrap and I had the fried chicken sandwich. Both were very delicious. Service was great. Our server was very attentive.

First warning: they are not open 24 hrs. They open till late 12pm but close intermittently after each meal segment Breakfast is only till 10am then they close the doors They reopen for lunch, close, then reopen for dinner. See pic for schedule Surprisingly good for a restaurant inside a hotel. This one is inside the Holiday Inn by the airport Buffet is set up so you can't say no. The price totals almost $16 that includes tip 15% And taxes The menu is no cheaper to order and it's the wait that kills you so they get you there Btw I saw a server taking food from hot buffet section to customer at table so it is not all made fresh when you do order There is someone cooking special order omelettes and eggs at the buffet Typical breakfast buffet but one grade up for healthy choices like grits, hot oat meal, yogurt, nuts for condiments, etc Less star for not all food is hot Lots of staff around and fast friendly service. TIP: If you have a voucher from the airlines be sure and bring your money or credit card with you from your room. You pay first before they let you order or eat. No charging to your room either

I had breakfast at the blue dixie kitchen. The menu is simple and offers a variety of breakfast items. I chose the omelette and I asked for every ingredient listed in it. It was cooked perfectly and delicious and the potatoes that accompanied it were crisp and very good as well! It was a solid omelette overall. If you're staying at the Holiday Inn and want a decent breakfast then for sure visit the Blue Dixie kitchen especially since it's connected to the Hotel! Maybe next time I'm in town and staying I'll go for lunch or dinner?!

This is attached to a Holiday Inn and has a bar with several TVs on with sports. Comfortable and staff was nice. Small menu. My wife got the turkey wrap which was a decent size but had one thin slice of turkey on it. Supposed to have avocado but there was none. Essence of aioli mayonnaise barely could taste it. I had a Reuben with very little meat on it but more than my wife's turkey, the problem was it was roast beef not corned beef! Sauerkraut was on the side along with a side of mayo. So there isn't a lot nearby that is open on a Sunday evening but if u have to eat there don't expect much. Maybe the burger would be ok

This was the best part of our stay. The staff was friendly, fast and the place was clean with great ambiance. We had both dinner and breakfast here. Kids eat free here, or atleast for the breakfast part. The plates for dinner were very generous portions. My Mushroom Swiss Burger was fantastic and done just how I asked, medium well. Often places can't get this right and usually under or over cook. But they nailed it, and were generous with the flavor, Swiss and mushrooms. They also give you a good amount of fries on the side. I was not able to finish mine. But it was hard to stop eating. Both the lady who helped us in the evening and the gentleman in the breakfast rush were very attentive. The place was packed both times. So I was impressed. Also, the hostess at the front was such a sweet lady and made us feel right at home. I really liked the decor that gave it the feel of a rustic cabin with its antler chandelier and stoney and wooden textures and earthy toned walls. The bar area was gorgeous as well. I would definitely return to try some of their seafood. Overall, just a great variety on the menu and a spectacular job from the staff.

Mediocre tasting food. My nachos were missing the advertised pico and sour cream. They gave me picante sauce from a jar instead. Hardly any cheese. They also over charged me on the bill. They have a new menu and will not honor their online menu.

Little pricey but the steak was very well cooked. Not sure I would recommend unless you are staying at the hotel it's attached to.

I wanted to start with one biscuit, but the biscuits come in pairs. The waitress said I could order just one anyway, but the order ended up being two. I meant to save the second one for breakfast, but that was not to be. It did not survive long enough to make it out the door. My actual meal was a bacon swiss and mushroom burger, which was excellent. Between the biscuits and the burger, I am forced to acknowledge that it was entirely too much food. Sadly, that did not prevent me from eating all of it anyway. Delicious! The restaurant, which is a diner with very basic decor, is on an approach road to IAH, and is open 24/7. When I arrived in the evening, the place was empty. By the time I left, there were a whole bunch of customers. I noticed in other reviews that people were saying they did not receive checks for their meal and felt they were over-charged at the register. I did not receive a check either, but the amount I was charged at the register seemed accurate -- and I was paying attention because I had read the other reviews first.

I was catching up with my sister, we were there about 5 hours and the restaurant was empty. A mature-aged Asian woman came in, spotted the restroom door, and proceeded to it. The manager/owner (older man with balding hair) RAPIDLY went from the other side of the restaurant to intercept the woman right at the restroom entrance. He asked her what she needed, she told him to use the restroom, he then asked if she needed a table. When she replied "no", he stated that restrooms are for paying customers only. She was embarrassed, froze, said "Okay", and walked towards the exit. The guy saw my sister and I watching this unfold with screwfaces, so he tells the woman at the exit "Well go ahead and use it, you're already in here, I guess". While she was in the restroom he made a sign about their restroom stance and was taping it to the front door as the woman was exiting the building. We left immediately also. A business has the right to have such a ridiculous regulation, but this woman was dressed clean and came from a Lexus SUV. She wasn't homeless or some street prostitute that might be reckless in a public restroom. The idiot guy was petty, rude, inconsiderate, cold, and careless. I refuse to spend money at an establishment run by such a person.

Hippo Burgers popped up on my Yelp search and was not too far away, so I bookmarked it. Could have went to the Popeyes near by, but I really had a taste for a burger. Reviews were solid, so I figured why not?! Drive was bumpy to HB, but that is typical for the Aldine area, so drive carefully! Parking lot was plentiful even during lunchtime, but I did arrive just before 11:30 so I may have missed the lunch break traffic. Still about half of the restaurant was filled up. The menu is straightforward and outlines the ingredients on the burger. Desiring a burger with bacon, I ordered the BLT Burger- without mayo added mustard. You will find that the burgers are not too overly inclusive with a bunch of toppings but include one ingredient that makes it unique enough to make a statement (i.e. bacon, mushrooms jalepanos...This gives HB time and focus to make an oustanding meaty and flavorful patty to showcase their burgers which gives it that homemade burger vibe. Plus the order came out quick! Portion size was generous and worth the price. Very tasty burger that will keep you full the rest of the day. I cannot forget the fries, which came out fresh and hot. A pinch of salt- just how I like them, which was the deciding factor for me to eat at HB versus driving back to training and risk my fries getting cold! I gladly indulged in every single bite of my burger and fries. Plus, I love that they have Pepsi versus Coke beverages. They sell one cup size for fountain drinks. Dining in? free refills! I also liked that the tables are spaced out and give people room to eat. Tables provided plenty of paper towels as well as you sink your teeth into your burger and possibly get a little undignified. No one will blame you. Good food deserves to be devoured and I most certainly will be back again to indulge accordingly.

Why be in Texas when you can't have a steak? That's foolish talk really. My friends took me to a…read moresteakhouse on a Saturday evening. We came here early enough to beat the rush. It was my first time at a Texas Roadhouse steakhouse in Texas, if memory serves me correctly. We came here around 5:45 PM on a casual Saturday late afternoon / early evening. We were seated promptly and immediately. It was pretty busy when we stepped in. But as soon as we sat down, the early birds decide to rush in after us so it was glad that we came here early enough to grab a seat. Even my friend remarked that we got lucky with an empty table. The ambiance was very good and quiet. It was nice to be here and definitely miss having a mistake in the longest time. Me and my friends spent about a good hour and a half here from start to finish. I ended up getting a 16 ounce prime rib that was cooked rare. My sides were mashed potatoes - two servings. It was the time that I needed to carb load up for a 50 mile foot race within two days time. Gotta prepare of course. My friends ordered a sampler appetizer platter and also ordered steaks as well. All in all, it was a nice evening out with friends. The prime rib was cooked excellent and definitely was very enjoyable. Prices here were not terrible or bad, considering how much steak prices are nowadays. $30 for a 16 oz prime rib in a reputable steakhouse is around the norm these days. You just enjoy it while you can, which I thoroughly did while on vacation here in Texas. Our overall experience here at this Texas roadhouse steakhouse in Humble, Texas was very good and definitely one to remember. It was nice and quite satisfying to say. Not sure if they had wifi or not, but it didn't matter. The service here was very good and professional. The waitstaff checked up on us twice after ordering to make sure we were doing good. All in all, it was a nice typical dinner with friends. It was cool to have prime rib and enjoy company among friends. For the most part though, the air conditioning could have been better, but everything else was near optimal. The prices could have been better, but that's the economy at that point of time. And so, if you enjoy a real steak from a steakhouse, consider coming to Texas Roadhouse for your next piece of quality prime rib or porterhouse. This Texas Roadhouse steakhouse location is located in Humble, Texas. It's physically located at 9727 N Sam Houston Parkway E. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, best bet would be to get here early enough to beat the lunch or dinner rush. They have a generous amount of parking spaces, but could be bad when everyone is waiting for a spot. You're out of luck if you depend on public transportation since I don't think Humble has any regional public transportation that connects to Houston. Best thing to do is to rent a car or have local friends to take you around. Then there's always Uber or Lyft to take you on command, although it can be expensive, depending on where you originate from. And so, if you enjoy a good piece of steak or prime rib, consider coming to this Texas Roadhouse steakhouse for your next meal. Steak is always a feel good comfort food that makes everything nice and satisfying. Definitely recommended if you're in Houston or Humble area. 4.5 stars for the overall experience. Support local!
