The Fall Creek location is our favorite over the one in Atascocita. The ambiance and the layout is so much more inviting here. We stopped in on Friday night since they close at midnight. The tall beers are ice cold almost as good as Twin Peaks. Friday's they have 1/2 off on appetizers too! We ordered the loaded potato skins and boneless wings. I always get the firehouse garlic and my husband gets the mango habanero. I like that their boneless aren't overly breaded and too crispy or greasy. My friend wanted to try Big City Wings -Humble because it's in his Fall Creek neighborhood. He ordered the 10-piece boneless wings basket ($18.00) with melted cheese on the fries ($1.00) and I ordered the Chicken Avocado Egg Rolls ($15.00). Well, he loved his food. But, I didn't. They fried avocado with mushed chicken in an egg roll wrapper. It looked like a green slimy mess and tasted like slimy mess in my mouth. If there was no cilantro ranch dressing, I would have thrown it away. I kind of wasted my hard-earned $15 for a slimy dish. Yucky. I was drooling over his cheesy fries and saucy chicken pieces. So we went there last week, first thing I smelled was a stinky order coming from who knows. They definitely need to fix that issue. My recommendation are as follows: Change your water daily when you mop, use fabuloso and a small amount of beach, use air fresheners in this place, maybe hire someone to deep clean the whole place! I was surprised that this place only has 3 stars. We ate here alllll the time during Covid. Especially on Tuesdays. We would order 50 wings- get 100 and would eat in it for days. They are extremely consistent with their food, even location to location. Service is always good. My husband and I love coming here. Especially for lunch. You can not beat their lunch specials. 9.99 with a drink! I always get the same thing the Dirty Bird. Though- I call it the dirty girl. She is so filthy. The absolute dirtiest sandwhich. We've been to other locations and enjoyed the food so today we tried it again. My husband ordered the 15 piece wing and they mixed his sauces however he had plenty of dipping sauce so that was a win! I ordered the street taco fries and they correctly substituted for sweet potato fries. Definitely recommend the fry options to share. My take out orders have always been right. If there was a knock on this place, the wait staff can be a little inattentive at times. But it's also usually pretty busy. As hot sauce goes, it is tasty but not really that hot. If you like your hot wings spicy, go the next level up from regular hot. This is a great place to watch the game and eat some good wings. Then finally one of the servers came but he went straight to the ladies seated behind us that came in after we did. So we only had menus and I can't rate the food because we didn't get any let alone waters after who knows how long of us just sitting there waiting. I wrote the first review of this place over a year ago. It's time for an update. I've taken away a star. (For whatever impact that makes :-( ) This is still a convenient hang-out for locals. It's not a destination. The food is mediocre and I've heard literally hundreds of customers make the same comment. The service from the employees is good. Most of them are on the ball and make an effort to deliver good service. The management, however, is a different story. There has been a revolving door of managers who seem to be in a competition to alienate customers and aggravate employees. I won't name names. I 'll also say that there have been a few good managers (out of dozens). I come here a few times a week. I may pay for writing this review, but I think it's s constructive criticism. - This is not a sports bar. I mistakenly made that claim in my first review. - Very few people know how to operate the televisions. - That doesn't matter because they refuse to show any sports (with audio) if it isn't a Houston team. - This policy applies to NBA finals games, NFL pre-season games, play-off's across the board, anything - even if 20 of the 25 customers want to watch a game- Even if there are no Houston teams playing. I've left many times to go watch semi-finals and finals for major league sports elsewhere because they are playing some tired old pop music channel instead of the national game of interest. I understand that they can't pick and choose between different fan bases every day. In general their policy makes sense. But they don't even make exceptions for things like game 7 of the NBA Eastern conference championship. Come on!! Don't come here unless you want to watch a Houston team. I mean it. My husband and I tried this place for our Friday family dinner with our 2 boys. Food is really good. We had the potato skins as appetizer..they were good. My husband I shared the monster wing basket and fries. It was well seasoned and tasted good. On Fridays, all house margaritas are $5 until close which is a mommy's dream lol.
