My friend and I came in for the weekend for Purgatory this weekend. We came to the dining area, the elderly hostess was incredibly rude and refused to seat us. As guests at the event this was very upsetting to say the least... we were expecting to be met with a certain level of customer service. This lady obviously isn't capable of such. I would definitely prioritize retraining her. Although, our server Deborah went above and beyond to take care of us, and we had a wonderful experience with her alone! After a long day and a thunderstorm I opted to stay in and eat at the hotel. Seemed a few others made the same decision. I was seated quickly at two top. The bar area was pretty full. By the time I left the whole restaurant was full. I had a pasta with garlic/cheese sauce with shrimp as I was in the mood for some comfort food. I was pleasantly surprised with the dish. Very tasty. The 747 Bar and Grill is inside the Doubletree Hotel. The bar and grill staff are so nice and they keep the evening lively with lots of banter with the patrons. I ordered the fish tacos for take away as I had just landed from a long flight from Germany. As you can tell from the pictures, it is a very nice dinner. However, the tortillas were not soft, almost as if they had sat out for a long time and dried out. The beans and rice were nothing special as well. There is a small strip mall close by with some much better bars and grills, some of which I have reviewed in the past. Just take a right as the exit the hotel. read more

Was staying next door at the Hampton Inn and the front desk recommended this as a nearby place. Walked over for dinner. I had the Chicken fajita quesadilla and it was tasty. One of us had a buffalo chicken wrap and reported it was good. Service was friendly but we could have used a little bit of check-ins and attention. Ambiance was alright. We had a wonderful dinner at 747 Bar & Grill. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar had fun IPA and Bock choices on draft from local Karbach Brewing Company. Plenty of other choices also available from the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food choices are great! We had the Steak quesadilla and Fish Wraps. Incredible! Loved every bite. Fernando was excellent and made sure we were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend this place! We will go back anytime we are in the area. It is located in the Doubletree Hotel on JFK. The menu advertised steak and Fritz with truffle Fritz in reality was served on a cast-iron skillet which was cold. The french fries had been fried in hours, and I couldn't taste any truffle sauce and the service was miserable. I complained and there were no condolences offered or anything I am a Diamond member of the Hilton and this was a disgrace for Hilton property. I would never stay at this property again. read more

The front desk at DoubleTree said they had a restaurant, and we were hungry so that's why we decided to try this place out. Upon entering, we weren't greeted and walked in wondering if we just sit anywhere or how does this even work... we did this for about 2mins. From a group of guys drinking beer watching the game - a server breaks off from the group and offers us a table. Ok... Menu had a good variety and we ordered: Brisket Sliders It was pretty ok. Food came out slow, but our server came to check on us quite frequently (so I guess he redeemed himself, lol). The ambience is quite nice, and establishment was clean. The service was great but let's talk about the food. We ordered fish tacos that were fresh and very tasty. The beans and rice served with them were cold but were overshadowed by the tastiness of the taco. The chicken quesadilla was typical but the sides of guac sour cream and salsa made it ok. The impossible burger was good and the sweet potato fries looked and tasted fresh. Now let's get to the star of the meal. The country fried steak with mash and gravy was amazing. We were here on business and staying at a neighboring hotel. Looking for something close and hit on this spot. Walked in and were greeted by a smiling guy who said, "Welcome! Feel free to sit wherever you're comfortable!" Love that point of view and so we did. We were attended to by the lovely Michelle who made sure we felt valued and cared for. The food is priced well and prepared beautifully with great care. And, incredibly delicious, so unlike "hotel food". The manager, the incandescent Cheryl, stopped by frequently to make sure all was well. Wait, what? A manager working the floor at 7PM? What a treat! It's clear that this restaurant aims to please. Due to issues with our flight, United put us up at Doubletree with food vouchers. The house cabernet sauvignon (Canyon Road) was good. Buffalo wings were excellent. Staff recommendation of steak quesadillas was also very good. Staff very pleasant and helpful with their suggestions. We had an enjoyable meal. read more

3/18/2023- Seated and placed our order quickly, food arrived hot and fast. Paying for said food was another story. No waiter, hostess, or any restaurant worker could we located for nearly one hour! Finally went to the hostess station and waited there for someone to pay for our food. After another 10 minute our waiter came by and ask if we wanted a seat.
