Love this place. It's a sweet treat without the guilt. I get the smoothie bowl with frozen base. The strawberry, blueberry and granola toppings hit the spot. I like the fact that they give you the peanut butter and honey on the side so you can drizzle when you want. I actually eat my bowl in 2 sittings so this is very smart. I didn't like the coconut so I won't get that again. I picked as much of it out of the bowl, too rough for me. I ordered online and it was ready in minutes. This is my second time trying Acai Brasil as my first visit was great, but at a different location. I ordered a Mini Bowl with Granola, Blueberries, Strawberries and Nutella on the Side. Everything in the bowl tasted fine but my strawberries, and while the picture isn't doing it justice, they gave me so many!! While the strawberries might look bright and red, they had a subtle garbage/spoiled smell and taste that I could not get past. The strawberries may not have been old but they were more than likely on their last leg. I didn't want to waste my food so I just took them off and ate everything else but I hate that I couldn't even enjoy my bowl how I wanted. On a positive note, the blueberries were fresh, the acai was good and smooth and the Nutella was delicious. This spot is the first acai spot in the city I've found that carries Brazilian street food and Brazilian soda. What a treat! Overall, even though my chicken coxinha came straight from the heat lamp, and my bowl was a bit difficult to eat, packed to the brim with toppings, I'm not complaining. I bet the fresh coxinha would be fire as they were pretty dang good after sitting. My very berry bowl was refreshing. The acai was tart and just about the right sweetness level after adding honey. Again, they really pack on the toppings, and the coconut flakes are thinly sliced, wide slivers of perfection! On my trip I was the only one who did not take their order to go, but I'm fine with that, the shop was clean and I don't mind the extra space to stretch out. I'm late to the açaí superfoods craze. This incredible berry has been popularized the past few years as a very beneficial berry full of nutrients. I stopped here for dessert after eating dinner in the same shopping strip. The inside was bright and clean. I was surprised to learn that they served Brazilian street food here as well, which I will have to try at a later time. Smoothies are also offered here as well, but the star of the show are the açaí bowls. There's many combinations to choose from, with a mixture of mostly fruit or granola toppings. The fruit was nice and fresh. You can even swap out the açaí for dragon fruit. It's definitely a healthier option than ice cream or gelato and just as yummy! The $12 price tag for a medium cup with less than half of it being açaí is pretty high, but the tasty high quality ingredients show through. Definitely worth another visit! read more

Açaí Brasil comes in clutch because there is not many açaí places on this side of town. This place is nice and big and offers plenty of seating. It's clean inside and out and has easy parking! They offer many açaí and smoothie options! They also offer Brazilian street food! I chose to build my own açaí bowl which was made up of: açaí, granola, blueberries, coconut flakes, a scoop of Nutella & condensed milk! It was delicious but I am used to a bigger portion at mamaka bowls for a small. I paid around $11. They charge you $.75 for honey and at mamaka's they have the honey out and you can pour how ever much you want without extra charge. The young lady taking my order was nice and didn't give me a hard time about anything. Overall this place is nice to have around for when I'm craving açaí I don't want to drive all the way in to the city. read more

Place is EXTREMELY overpriced. Got the power bowl, I asked to sub blueberries for strawberries and woman wanted to charge me .75 extra. A medium bowl came out to 16 and change, and it's nothing special. NeKtar/Rush Bowls are much more better bang for the buck. Smoothie king even started making Acai bowls which are very comparable to this 1. I was going to walk out and not get anything but girl started making my bowl before I finished ordering. There is absolutely no denying it -- the açaí at Açaí Brazil is hands-down the best I've ever had. The texture is always spot on: creamy, smooth, and rich without being too sweet or icy. The fruit is consistently fresh and vibrant, and everything on the menu is delicious. I've truly never had a complaint about the food itself -- and that's what keeps pulling me back in. However, the customer service is another story. I say this with all sincerity: dealing with the staff has become the one and only reason I hesitate to return. The attitude, the lack of warmth, and the constant sense that you're inconveniencing them just by walking in is incredibly frustrating. I often try to order ahead to avoid interaction altogether -- that's how uncomfortable it's become. Today, unfortunately, was another reminder of why I usually avoid going in. I had built my own bowl for the first time, and I didn't realize honey had to be manually added as a topping.(I was under the impression it came with every bowl) When I walked back in and asked if they could give me an extra honey as only one was in the bag (thinking it had just been left out), I was immediately met with defensiveness and told I'd need to bring the bag back to "verify" that it wasn't in there. Not only was the response dismissive and aggressive, but it was also handled with such unnecessary attitude. Once I brought the bag back, I was told that because I built my own bowl, honey isn't included unless selected -- which I totally understand now! But the lack of grace, patience, or simple kindness in that interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. It's not about the honey -- it's about the energy. And sadly, that energy consistently makes what should be a treat feel like a chore. As much as I adore the food and used to recommend this spot to everyone I know, I think today may have been my last visit. What a great find! There aren't many healthy options around these parts so I was delighted to find this place when I looked up "juicing", and wasn't disappointed. I love Acai basil but there staff is first very young so I will give them the benefit of the doubt however they never greet you. Many times as soon as I walk in they walk to the back. Obviously there are kiosks to self check out but there should still be a calm fretting of customers. Second the staff is never on the same page when it comes to orders. Constantly be told different things on how to substitute alter or even portion sizes there are times some fill to the lid while others leave a gap. Expect to hear one thing and then told another by each staff member making it confusing and frustrating. When ever trying to correct the error there's no resolution they will tell you to order what ever is missing again separate at a higher rate. There's never a manager available not even to speak to on the phone. Overall the staff isn't taught to be accommodating and welcoming to customers. Not too far away from the airport is this small spot located in the back of some warehouses. I'm not sure how my friend found this place but I'm glad she did because it was pretty good! We had the açaí protein and brasil with condensed milk. There was a bit too much peanut butter on the protein and also too much condensed milk in mine but they were both very tasty with fresh fruit. If you're vegan I would let them know ahead of time because we saw some honey on the protein bowl and it was not named in the ingredients. They also have assorted Brazilian snacks like cheese bread and croquettes, which I was very happy about because I'm not someone they can get full off of açaí alone. The chicken and beef croquettes were fresh, crispy, and soo good. I probably could have eaten ten! Overall, it's a bit of a drive depending on where you live in Houston but they offer one of the best açaí I've tasted here so far! That and the croquettes are worth the drive to me! read more

My sister and brother-in-law, who are both Vegans, swear by this place so naturally my husband and I had to try it. Well bow it is our regular Wednesday and Saturday morning stop! When you first pull into the business complex you are a bit skeptical about a restaurant being in there BUT don't be fooled by the looks.
