Hidden gem. I'm not vegan but do enjoy this type of food from time to time. The food here is always solid, especially when I'm craving for something light and fresh. My go to order is always the Reuben and their signature Green Juice. This time I only ordered the Reuben since I already made a batch of my own Green Juice at home. As for the Reuben, it usually comes with sandwich bread as the bun but I wanted to do less carbs so opted for the lettuce wrap option. I love the texture and flavor of this. It has a good tang to it that I think is borderline addicting to me. I know this place can get super busy during lunch hours so I always call ahead about 15-20 minutes for my to go order. Once I arrive, I pay and pick up my order within a few minutes so service is good from my experience. Ambiance wise, I mean this place is in Greenspoint aka Gunspoint. Lol Outside may make you question a lot of things. Inside, it's no fuss and cozy. The space is small with mismatch table and chairs and random things in storage along the walls. I grew up close to the area so none of this bothers me. Plus I know I'm getting good, hearty food. The guys who work there are friendly and cool and I usually have a few short conversations with them. For as long as I've gone here, probably 5+ years now, it's still the same guys I see. I could eat here everyday and that's what I did when I was in Spring working. The first highlight outside of the food of course is the service. Chris and team are excellent. The customer service is the best in business. They remember who you are and are very friendly. The last day I was there I sat at the counter and talked to several other patrons. Every time I'm there everyone is friendly and welcoming. It's like a vegan Cheers. Now to the food. Every juice I've had, has been excellent, and I've had many. I forgot the name of my favorite but it's highly recommended by Chris and I see why. It has Collagen, probiotics and some other goodies in it. I had no clue there was a decent juice/smoothie spot in Greenspoint until now. I found this place while I was waiting for Mr. G to finish up my pizza order. It's hard not to notice the clutter, quite a few boxes in the entrance. I made my way past it and approached the counter. Cool random find! Very unassuming exterior appearance. It's located in a rather abandoned strip mall. The interior is also a bit messy and cluttered with items scattered. Their name reminds me of a MadTV sketch of the same name, which was part of the appeal. "Welcome to Juice Juice, where's no excuse for ho-hum juice". Unlike the comedy skit, thankfully I had a wonderful experience at this juice establishment. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and explained the concept of the place as well as their menu. He suggested their "energy green supreme health drink" and provided a freshly-blended sample on the spot. He was very enthusiastic about the various superfood-like options they offer. I ended up accepting his suggestion (energy green supreme health drink) and thought it tasted great! There were so many ingredients that I can not recite them here. Much better than a smoothie you can get from a franchise chain. They used a combination of ingredients that did not make the drink overly sweet. I am often skeptical of smoothies due to excessive sugar content but this place seems to emphasize the vegetables over the fruits in terms of making the drink. The staff is so incredibly knowledgeable about eastern medicine and herbs. Just coming for a nice chat and juice made the difference the for me. They recommended I take 2 capsuls of cinnamon to crave my sugar cravings. I started and after a week, I noticed a dramatic decline in my nEed to always eat something sweet. I've already Llosa 6 pounds. Anyway, on the juice. They are made with fresh fruit that they cut up in front of you.
