There's a wide range of items from fresh baked bread, salsas, kombucha, donuts and more. There's also several coffee vendors to grab a nice beverage to sip while strolling the booths. Parking is very limited for this market. Expect to park on a neighboring street (be sure to pay attention to parking signs) and walk a couple of blocks to reach the market. Another solid option is to walk or bike in from the heights bayou trial. This is a great option to get a little exercise and reduce congestion in the area. Overall, a great market! Don't forget a reusable shopping tote and bring some cash if you can!

Everything was good but like I mentioned above, the pot pies from Miya's are amazing. My one complaint would be the lack of produce. Only spotted one vendor with a relatively small selection. You can always head to the Houston Farmer's Market on Airline Drive, which is open daily. They have loads of produce. Maybe this goes without saying but it gets brutally hot. Parts of the market were in direct sun so please be safe. Water and sun protection. Leven bakery sells fresh coconuts to sip from. They're very refreshing but too small to share (and priced at $8 each). Might be a good idea to bring some water from home.

All of the vendors take credit cards which is convenient in case you forgot to bring cash. There's often live music and a few small tables to sit and sample your bounty and just enjoy the fresh air. While you are not going to find the cheapest bargain here, it feels good to help support small businesses, take part in a community activity, and score some healthy foods for you and your family. I searched on Facebook Marketplace to see if any local gardeners was selling Kirby cucumbers from their summer harvest. I had no luck. Then, I remembered when I lived in Clear Lake, we always had Frobergs that my mum liked shopping at for fresh farm produce. Since I moved and live north. I knew I wasn't going to be driving an hour and more to Frobergs. I did a quick search on All Things Woodlands page to find Atkinson Farms in Spring. I had hoped to find something closer like in Conroe or Willis, nope. Luckily, Atkinson is open on a Sunday. The drive was long, but when I arrived I was happy to find an air conditioned mini country store. Low and behold, there was piles of Kirby cucumbers. I bought a lot. I also got some carrots and other produce. They had pickling cucumbers too. They sell jelly, jams, and pickled vegetables. The cashier said less and was pleasant to deal with. The store is clean and very organized. Everything that I got was extremely affordable at $12. They accept cash and card. Parking is out in front of a vineyard. I met a man and his sweet dog out front. When I got back home. I washed the cucumbers cut them up. Omg, they were so delicious, crisp crunch, slightly sweet, juicy, and amazing taste. I miss growing Kirby's. I can't wait to return for more!

Recently, we saw them share on Facebook that they had some strawberries ready for picking and we basically hopped out of bed and headed over there. You pay $3 per person and $2 per bucket to enter. My wife waited in life while I took our son to play on the playground, which he really enjoyed. Once she was done, we headed back to the strawberries. There were several areas you could choose from, and it was pretty obvious which areas had been picked over already and which hadn't. Some sections would only have a few decent strawberries, while others were full of only the biggest and brightest. We nearly filled up two buckets and it was only $24. Sure, we had to pick them and wash them, but we had enough strawberries to last us an eternity. And they were pretty tasty too. The market where you pay for the berries after also had other various produce items and meats. I added on a jar of pickles on top of the strawberry haul. We will probably have to make this an annual tradition!

Met one of the owners, Renee Hillman who opened this farm to the public in 2006; sweet lady. The Hillman family are well known in these parts from farms to everything fish/marine life. This farm is beautiful and no doubt, lots of work; I'm very appreciative to them. Today, I enjoyed picking blueberries, herbs and various mints I didn't know existed but am so excited to taste. I'll definitely be a regular from now on. Support farmers. But local.

We have been many times, and love it each time…read more This week (Spring Break) they had "Kidding around with baby goats:" 11 Nigerian Dwarf Goats that were 1-2 weeks old, bunnies, and chickens! They have a playground, and a pop up shop filled with assortments of tomato plants and herbs, homemade goat milk soap, freshies, cowboy candy & jam for sale! All of these products are handmade from ingredients found at the farm! We had the best tour guide for the hayride, Mr. Wilson. Mrs. Renee was in the pen with the goats, and letting a few lucky people bottle feed 2 babies. Melinda was helpful and nice in the pop up shop tent. Nothing was ready to be harvested yet, but we will be back in a few weeks for blueberries.
