Food great ...ambiance... great ....people were friendly and attentive.....how ever I asked for grape and Strawberry jelly because I ordered a bagel.... I don't know when restaurants started charging for condiments. The grape jelly was free but the Strawberry jelly came with a cost . I was told because it's organic.... and so the f* what buy regular to give away. Like if ur organic is so precious. I already spent 10.79 for a freaking bagel and u can't give me Strawberry jelly really. It's a condiment that goes on the food I just purchased. I can understand if I just asked for it for no reason ok then sell it... but if I purchase an item I expect my condiments to be included in the price.... I will not return and if I was told before I ordered that they would charge for jelly I would have kept it moving the food isn't that great.

Cloud 7 frappe and chicken sausage biscuit

This seemingly asian-owned coffee shop is near my work and I visited on a Friday morning. The space is next to a gas station and is decently sized. It's the type of space and configuration typically occupied by a fast food restaurant. In the Houston area, these configurations are common and usually occupied by McDonalds, Burger King, pizza places and fried chicken restaurants. I've rarely seen a coffee shop in these larger spaces. Since it's on the end of the building, 7th Heaven also has a drive thru. Inside is pretty clean and bright with a somewhat modern decor. There are 2 high tops and 6 regular tables, two of which are along the front windows. One major caveat which I overheard is that there is NO wifi! How can you be a coffee shop these days and not offer wifi? I briefly looked at the menu upon entering which is very visible and located in 2 different spots in the dining area. One along the front east wall and one behind the counter. I give them an A for menu presentation and visibility, as some coffee shops don't give much thought to the location, visibility and readability of the menu. I mistakenly read the chicken sausage biscuit as a chicken biscuit and was ready to dig into a fried chicken breast on a biscuit, similar to chick fil a, bit alas it was a chicken sausage patty. Maybe they will offer a fried chicken patty in the future tho, for either breakfast or lunch. I added a cloud seven frappe which is an icy drink and similar to what you can find at many other coffee shops, this was pretty good and caramelly. The chicken sausage biscuit is very good too, which a flaky biscuit that will probably fall apart at some point while eating. That's a good sign for me, even though Gordon Ramsey would frown upon it. It just means is was freshly made. The "eatery" in their name refers to the full meals offered, not just snacks, pastries or half-ass overpriced breakfast options. They serve 7 different lunch items also which are freshly prepared, not just a prepackaged item that was heated up when you order it. Their chopped beef meal and chopped chicken meals have a large Asian influence and are made with jasmine rice and teriyaki sauce. The most appealing item for a typical customer at lunchtime may be their burger though, which is supposedly made with fresh beef. Overall, I like the place, but just can't get over the fact that they do not have wifi, so for that reason, I must deduct a star.

Smaller more unassuming place. Has really good teas, coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and bagels.

Small but great place to have breakfast. Coffee was very good and my bacon, egg, and cheese on sourdough was so good. I added avocado for a tasty twist. Highly recommended this place for breakfast and lunch.

After our 8 hrs flight, we stopped here for coffee & avocado, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich. It was really good. Sandwich was simple but tasty. I'm not a coffee lover & it tasted good & fresh.

Always looking out to support local shops and saw this spot while riding by so made a U-turn and put my foodie hat on. The cook whipped up a nice breakfast bagel and the cashier made an original Macchiato that had a kick! Can not go into too much detail because I had to eat and run, but if you are ever in the area, well worth the stop.

Coffe shop feel with great food and service. Should have tried this place out before now. Great selection of sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. Coffee was great as well. A must in Humble when you don't want a "massive" place to fight the crowds Support this small business. It's a must

Food was great and fresh, costumer service was great. Also if y'all get a chance try the Morning Star Smoothie. This place definitely better than any Starbucks, Dunkin or Dutch bros.

I have been coming to this establishment since they've opened. And I continue to return, because the coffee and the food leave you with a smile. The staff is friendly and courteous, the owner really puts his passion of cooking in his menu, constantly evolving the menu, trying knew recipes. But don't just take my words, try it, go there and taste the food yourself.

Frappe! Delicious with little bits of caramel crunch? In it. So good!!

When we arrived, First Watch looked pretty busy, but we were pleasantly surprised that we were seated right away. The hostess was very kind and welcoming, and our waiter was just as nice... cordial, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. The service was definitely one of the highlights. For food, we both ordered the Trifecta. I chose the waffle with potatoes instead of eggs, along with their chicken sausage patty, and I added a side salad with mixed greens and a lemon herb dressing. I also added a side of chicken. Initially, I thought the chicken breast would be about $2.50, but before placing the order our waiter came back and clarified that it would be about $5 and would come as strips instead of a full chicken breast. I appreciated him coming back to correct that. When the chicken came out, it was sliced into very thin pieces and was a little lukewarm. I mentioned it to the waiter, and he apologized and handled it professionally by removing it from the bill, which I appreciated. Overall, the food was okay, about a 3.5 out of 5 for me. The waffle was tasty, just as I remembered, and the potatoes were good as well. However, the chicken sausage patty wasn't very good. I personally didn't enjoy it and ended up leaving it on the plate. My husband ordered the pancake with pecans, scrambled eggs, and a side of grits with butter, and he enjoyed his meal. One thing I did like was that you can now pay your bill directly from your phone, which makes it really convenient when you're ready to go without waiting. Overall, the big win here was the service and hospitality. The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient, and we appreciated being seated quickly even when it seemed busy. The food was decent, though I've had better, but the service made the experience pleasant.

I had the salmon eggs benedict, as I always do... It did not taste good at all. The Salmon didn't taste like real fish. Tags were bland and the only thing I really liked were the fresh red onions. Bummer. Now, I always like to wash it down with a purple haze... Thankfully it was still really tasty. Maybe the cooks were tired. *Shrugs* Lol. They close at 2:30 and I came in at 2:00 The inside was pretty empty with only maybe four tables in use. It was relaxing atmosphere... so maybe if I go another day during peak hours, it will taste better. We shall see. I haven't given up on you yet!

TLDR: Worth a visit if you're in the area?…read more Wow! Hidden gem? Forgotten favorite? I don't know, but after tasting the food, we have to get the word out about this spot. Arriving around lunchtime on a weekday, I had the place to myself which allowed me a unique opportunity to take the place in. That being said, this spot is not overly French cafe themed, but instead a classic suburban strip mall spot with nods to the French peppered throughout the menu and decor. The booth area is well-designed, the spot was clean and the table touched by light so after a great experience chatting with the cashier I was crossing my fingers, hoping the food matched the vibe. I had a crepe Mexicana (because who has ever heard of that?!), a croque monsieur with tomato soup, and a dessert crepe because y'all know I always save room for dessert. It took a minute to be prepared, but I'm willing to wait for a fresh made meal. Everything, was delicious. Crepe texture was on point, and each crepe was stuffed to the Gods. Positive experience all around. My tip: Order the tomato soup and finish your meal with the following combo- a dessert Crepe Almonds with strawberries. Trust me on that one!

This was kind of later in the day so it wasn't going to be a coffee visit, but I did go with a donut. Girl working was super sweet, and of course the donut I wanted was out of stock. I went with a boston cream, and I paid at the one window, then walked to my right to the other window to pick this up. Only downfall was that they put this in a baggie similar to what Starbucks uses so the icing on the top was pretty much stuck within that bag so I did what I could. Considering I'm not the biggest donut fan anymore (I swear this is a side effect of getting older), this was pretty good for what it was, and I'm happy I was finally able to try Tim Horton's.

Our server did not have much insight on any favorites, choices or menu items, as admittedly "she doesn't eat their food." Perhaps she has a specific diet and hates taking orders. She skipped right over me and took everyone's order before me (males) even though I was speaking to her. I really dislike when someone says that as they should know it's not good for business, however I simply take it as they don't like their job or is not sociable. It was the first time for my whole family, as we've skipped it many times for its parking lot neighbor--cheddars. (Please keep doing that). Black Bear Diner is a mediocre, moderately priced, cookie cutter dining experience for breakfast and lunch. It has a large menu of mostly same named breakfast/dinner all day menu kind of set up. Food comes fast, pancakes apparently come with no butter. The blackberry lemonade was enjoyed by my family (it is VERY sweet and I don't enjoy sugar), the pancakes portion to bacon ratio is poor, the white cheddar bacon mac n cheese has the same skimpy bacon ratio; is very forgettable and may have the same supplier as Panera bread's Mac in a bag. Now the star of the show, the bear sized chicken fried steak, is normal sized. I inquired if I'd gotten normal by mistake and was told the normal portion was about the size of a (tiny woman shaped hands in a circle demonstration--about this big). The giant steak is how we landed there in the first place--I've been wanting to try it forever. However, that's the takeaway. I wanted it, I tried it, I do not crave it and won't be going again. We really wished we'd ate at home that morning. This is not a get out of bed or a desired dining experience. In fact, I found it annoying to wait in line to pay for something you are in a hurry to get away from. They bussed us out of there while I was still picking at the burnt hash browns and something tells me that black bear makes its money just before cheddars opens at 11. Sleep in and skip this place, especially if you're hungry as a bear

Our young server was very good, she took drink orders and delivered them to the right customers very quickly. After a bit of socializing we placed our orders and it wasn't very long and food was coming to our table. I had the Chicken Shawarma and Gyro Combo plate and it was a huge serving that also started with a nice salad. Others in our group had gyro sandwiches, salads and even baclava. My wife loved the French fries that are so crisp. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated with Mediterranean decor, there is a big screen at one end with scenes from Greece and other parts of the region.
