    Lunchtime

Had brunch with my prayer partner that was in town this weekend. We ran into so many church members that had the same lunch idea. We were very impressed with the decor, food and service. Support my people! The owners were very friendly and personable, they welcomed us with open arms. James Watts was the amazing chef and he was just as amazing as his food. 10/10 I had the steak, eggs, and potatoes (so tender) My friend had the wifey special (a must try) shrimp, fried grits, and a huge of fish. My cousin had the tenders and fries. Great food and good conversation. The closed Monday and Tuesday but come on his weekends

Brunch at Bloom & Bee feels like one of those mornings where you accidentally wander into something better than you expected. I went with the prawns and petals--their take on shrimp and grits. Now listen, shrimp and grits is one of those dishes every restaurant thinks they can do. Most play it safe. This one doesn't. The shrimp were bold, properly seasoned, sitting on grits that actually tasted like somebody in the kitchen cared about flavor instead of just texture. Rich, savory, a little indulgent in the best possible way. My wife ordered the bird and bloom, their spin on chicken and pancakes. It's the kind of plate that shouldn't work as well as it does--crispy chicken, fluffy pancakes, sweet meeting savory in that perfect brunch truce. And again... the seasoning. Restaurants often pull punches with seasoning at brunch. Not here. Whoever's behind the stove understands that flavor is the whole point. Service? Outstanding. The kind where glasses stay filled, plates arrive hot, and nobody's hovering over you like a nervous stage manager. The place itself has that comfortable, easy energy relaxed but still polished enough that you feel like you went somewhere worth getting dressed for. Bottom line: bold flavors, confident cooking, and brunch done right. I'd absolutely come back again. In fact, it's the kind of spot that makes you start planning your next visit before you've even paid the check.

I came for brunch on Saturday around 10:30am. We were seated right away, the waitress and host were friendly. The chef came over introduced himself and asked about our food that was nice. The place was clean and pretty for pictures. However the food was average. My waffle is thin and the chicken wings are the smallest I have ever seen. The meal was priced at $24 which is average for Houston area prices but the food doesn't match the prices . It was so small and not filling. The taste was ok nothing that stands out. I just had orange juice and water. I will not they also do not take cash I tried to pay with it so that's something to note if you go. I'm a foodie so a cute spot is not enough for me I want good food and the portion should match the prices. This does not. The three stars was for the service and cleanliness which I appreciate. Try it for yourself and let me know what you think.

Birdie in Bloom (Swapped out the waffle for pancakes)

Brunch & Bloom is truly a vibe! The entire place is aesthetically pleasing and perfectly lives up to its name. We visited on a Thursday around 1 PM and were seated immediately, which was a great start to the experience. The decor is beautiful, bright, and very on brand with the "bloom" theme. The staff was warm and accommodating, and it was a nice touch that Chef James came to our table to chat with us. That level of hospitality always makes a restaurant feel special. Now let's talk about the food... chef's kiss. I ordered the Birdies in Bloom, which is their take on chicken and waffles, but I substituted pancakes instead of waffles. I ate every bite! The hint of vanilla in the pancakes was giving life and paired perfectly with the chicken. We also tried the Prawns and Petals, which is such a cute name for shrimp and grits. The grits were fried into a brick, which I had never seen before, and it was incredibly creative. Paired with the Cajun sauce and shrimp, the dish was absolutely delicious. We cleaned our plates. Overall, it was a great experience with beautiful ambiance, friendly staff, and flavorful food. We will definitely be back again.

This place is AMAZING! It's a super cute spot with a nice area in front to take pics. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly hostess, told us it would be a wait, but within 5 minutes we were seated. Our waitress was lovely & very attentive! Told us all of the things she recommended. I had not intentions on drinking but next thing you know I had 3 Sangrias! The food!!!!!! My good absolutely delicious. The appetizers of crab cakes & deviled eggs had me dancing. The owner stopped by and said if I was dancing to the appetizers he couldn't wait to see how I felt about the food. And my god was he right! I ordered the French toast, and I usually don't like Texas toast, but LET ME TELL YOU how delicious it was! I absolutely can't wait to come back. I'm determined to try everything on the menu! Great job!!!!!!

My husband and I have been to Brunch and Bloom twice and we've throughly enjoyed it. I confidently say this place is a little hidden gem It feels relaxed and easy. Everything we've had has been fantastic!!! The quality of the food and presentation is something you would expect to see from downtown or the Heights. It's a place I actually look forward to going back to. I really hope it sticks around, because it's the kind of spot every area needs. If you're local and haven't tried it yet, I'd definitely recommend it 10/10

    Lamb Chop Fried Rice

If you're not sure what to order, start with the lamb tacos and go ahead and order some to go while you're at it. They're so delicious and savory, my mouth is watering just thinking about them! I also tried the lamb fried rice, and wow... whatever the chef and cooks are doing back there, they're doing it right. The atmosphere is just as impressive as the food. The energy from the staff really stands out. I'm not great at remembering names, but Amanda definitely left an impression she's full of smiles, has amazing energy, and gives great recommendations. This is truly a must-visit spot. The restaurant has an upscale feel while still being very family-oriented, which is rare and refreshing. It's nice to see a place put so much effort into creating a comfortable space for the community without having to leave the area for a great dining experience.

Brunch & Bloom is truly that brunch destination. After church, my family and I enjoyed one of the most elevated and memorable brunch experiences we've had in Humble. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. We ordered the French toast, shrimp and grits, garden lamb, BBLT, chicken & pancakes, an omelet with fries, and the Maryland-style crab cakes; each plate was thoughtfully prepared, rich, and satisfying without being heavy. You can tell care and quality go into every detail. Our server, Stephanie, was absolutely phenomenal, attentive, warm, and effortlessly professional. She elevated the entire experience and made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. And let's talk about the drinks: the blueberry mimosas were perfectly crafted, refreshing, and chef's kiss. If you're looking for a brunch spot that feels luxurious yet inviting, perfect for family time, celebrations, or a refined Sunday reset, Brunch & Bloom is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back

The Birdie in Bloom was phenomenal. The lamb chops were tender and well seasoned. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The Bloom Berry Biscuit was the perfect sweet touch to balance the meal. You can tell quality matters here.

Brunch & Bloom was a wonderful experience with a beautiful, relaxing ambience that made brunch even more enjoyable. The customer service was excellent, and Amanda was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I had the French toast with bacon, grits, and eggs, while my best friend enjoyed the chicken and waffles with eggs, and everything was delicious. Overall, it was an awesome experience, and I can't wait to go back and try more..

We drove about an hour to get there and it was very well worth it. The restaurant is in a plaza with other stores and restaurants so there's plenty of parking right out front. We had a 20 minute wait we ended up sitting outside which was a nice covered spot. We ordered the truffle fries, firecracker shrimp with a side of grits & beignets to start off. The girls are called creamy dreamy and they absolutely live up to their name. The best grits ever! Super creamy and cheesy. The firecracker shrimp was tasteful and savory and we loved the truffle fries. We also ordered a biscuit bc the place is called the flying biscuit how could we not? Our server Susana was amazing super sweet and accommodating she gave us great recommendations and I'm so glad to have come across her! She definitely added to our experience The restaurant itself was super cute and colorful i loved the paintings on the wall and i should mention that the bathroom was super cute! I'm so glad we went to the flying biscuit I'd definitely go again next time I'm in town!

When we arrived, First Watch looked pretty busy, but we were pleasantly surprised that we were seated right away. The hostess was very kind and welcoming, and our waiter was just as nice... cordial, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. The service was definitely one of the highlights. For food, we both ordered the Trifecta. I chose the waffle with potatoes instead of eggs, along with their chicken sausage patty, and I added a side salad with mixed greens and a lemon herb dressing. I also added a side of chicken. Initially, I thought the chicken breast would be about $2.50, but before placing the order our waiter came back and clarified that it would be about $5 and would come as strips instead of a full chicken breast. I appreciated him coming back to correct that. When the chicken came out, it was sliced into very thin pieces and was a little lukewarm. I mentioned it to the waiter, and he apologized and handled it professionally by removing it from the bill, which I appreciated. Overall, the food was okay, about a 3.5 out of 5 for me. The waffle was tasty, just as I remembered, and the potatoes were good as well. However, the chicken sausage patty wasn't very good. I personally didn't enjoy it and ended up leaving it on the plate. My husband ordered the pancake with pecans, scrambled eggs, and a side of grits with butter, and he enjoyed his meal. One thing I did like was that you can now pay your bill directly from your phone, which makes it really convenient when you're ready to go without waiting. Overall, the big win here was the service and hospitality. The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient, and we appreciated being seated quickly even when it seemed busy. The food was decent, though I've had better, but the service made the experience pleasant.

Arriving around lunchtime on a weekday, I had the place to myself which allowed me a unique opportunity to take the place in. That being said, this spot is not overly French cafe themed, but instead a classic suburban strip mall spot with nods to the French peppered throughout the menu and decor. The booth area is well-designed, the spot was clean and the table touched by light so after a great experience chatting with the cashier I was crossing my fingers, hoping the food matched the vibe. I had a crepe Mexicana (because who has ever heard of that?!), a croque monsieur with tomato soup, and a dessert crepe because y'all know I always save room for dessert.
