Wanted Street tacos so decided here for lunch. It's fast casual, you order at the counter and the staff bring your food. They start you off with chips and salsa (which is warm, mild and refreshing). Small bottles of other salsas are on the table, a creamy green and light orange. Non of the salsas were spicy. The restaurant is open, clean and simple. The food came in about 7 minutes and was presented well. With a total of 43 dollars for a burrito (HUGE) and 8 street tacos with two beverages, it was pretty affordable and very filling. You can definitely spend $15 and leave very satisfied. Overall the food was good, hot and the tortillas were corn and they are known for their handmade tortillas. I tried the breakfast enchiladas. Two cheese enchiladas w/ meat sauce, 2 fried eggs, potatoes and refried beans. The entire plate was delicious. The enchiladas were hot and tasty. The eggs cooked perfectly. The potatoes had a little crisp to them w/ soft on the inside. One of the best breakfasts I've had in Atascosita/Humble. They have plenty of other choices too, like chilaquiles, which I'm getting next time. Service was friendly. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. There's not a lot to look at, but the dining room is always clean, bright and inviting. Also, they make some of the best handmade corn tortillas. read more

Service was awesome they were patient and helpful when I didn't know what I wanted, thhey gave me chips to snack on while I waited but the wait wasn't long at all. The food was hot and plenty of meat in the tacos !! I'm so happy I finally found a taco spot that isn't stingy either their meat !! The green sauce had a kick with I loved ! And the churro beans were really good I typically don't eat them but they were to good and the bacon was cooked all the way !!! We have been eating here for over 10 years. The staff is kind and welcoming whether they are empty or packed to the rafters. I have enjoyed every meal. Dining room and bathrooms are always clean. The tables have enough room between them to sit comfortably and have a conversation. read more

Parking was a bit of a mess but eh! Place looked clean. Workers were nice. I ordered menudo and about 4-6 tacos? Think it was about $30+. Wish they'd ask people to either sit or wait elsewhere vs huddle by front door/where line starts for ordering. Several people kept asking others if they were in line and some didn't even answer so new customers were like umm ..??should we go ahead or wait or go ahead or wait. I got a menudo-Menudo wasn't bad it does have a distinct flavor but not something bad I did like that it was nothing but cueros as I'm not big on hominy but yeah hominy was like maybe 10in the cup. Oh and the tortillas were good even after saving some and reheating my leftover for dinner. The tacos- Not bad but as you can see in the pic they were super greasy. I wish they'd give you more cilantro y cebolla or ask if you'd like some on the side. I doordash and today was not a good day to do that at this establisment. When i got into the very stuffy humid resturant i saw how busy it was. The line wasnt that long and it moved fast enough i showed them my order, and the girl i showed told me as she was walking off that its coming or something. Then time went by ten or fifteen minutes no food. Eventually it did come i left to drop off the food but to my surprise they called me and told me it was the wrong order! Doubled back to get the correct order which put me way behind schedule. For all the time i spent waiting on the order you would think they would get the damn order correct. Never tried the food, seems like a nice place but i wont be dining there any time soon they obviously cant handle the customer traffic. read more

If your'e looking for some authentic flavors, Tacos Flores is a great place to go! On my first visit I ordered the street tacos and the homemade corn tortillas were divine! I do wish the beef was a little more tender but it still had a nice flavor paired with the cilantro and grilled onions. The refried beans here are amazinggg!! They're smokey, seasoned and smooth, very tasty! I've also ordered the queso here and it gets the job done. It's nothing spectacular but it's still good. I prefer a queso that has pico de gallo and cilantro in it which this one is lacking but it still has a good taste and consistency. Tacos Flores also has delicious homemade red and green salsa! I love how reasonable their prices are here as you can get an 8 oz side of salsa for $2, definitely can't beat that. The only complaint I really have here is the rice. It's always dry, hard and bland, if they were to change the recipe for that I'd honestly give this restaurant 5 stars. Overall, I recommend and am looking forward to trying the breakfast items here! read more

We came in here to eat breakfast as we have many times before. They took over 40 minutes to bring us a simple order of one menudo and 5 tacos. The kids working here don't know what they are doing. I understand it's a family business but y'all know it gets busy, so they need to hustle. The so called manager didn't even acknowledge the fact that our order was taking entirely too long. We tipped before we got our service, can't stand places that ask for a tip before giving me shit service. Really annoyed, never again. Driving from far to come out here for that. Great lil spot in Humble that serves awesome Mexican fare. They started out as a little shack, and they've come a long way since! This place is counter service, which is fine by me. I came here for breakfast and chose the Mexican breakfast plate. It includes eggs and jalapeños, potatoes with chorizo, and refried beans. The homemade tortillas are a definite bonus! Everything was delicious and well prepared, and the portion was generous. Of course don't forget to ask for the salsa verde, when they bring you your food! It goes well with everything! Clean area and a window showing homemade tortillas being made made our visit a great one. Menudo: Great flavor with a tad bit of a kick to it. Served with 3 tortillas of your choice (we got flour) homemade not bad either. We've been going here for years but all of a sudden the past month we've recently had a lot of issues start up , food took an hour to get , ordered online for take out thinking it'll be faster and ready when we got there and it took 40min but people in line got the food faster and now all I asked was for simple ketchup the girl went to the back and came out with a booster chair and never got my ketchup till I asked another lady for it who literally got it a few feet from me no issue ! Small place located on the 1960 hwy not to far from Bush International airport, do not follow the gps address from Yelp, will take you somewhere else just google it, the portions are pretty hefty 100% fresh, which thats a plus not like other places where the eggs had been made for a while. The flour tortillas are not to bad, the only thing I wish they had was a better salsa unfortunately they were way too mild not even a hint of spice. They constantly skimp out on not only beans, not only cheese, but even the salsa! It takes forever to get your order which would be fine if you didn't open it up to 2 pouches of salsa for a dozen tacos. They used to be great even though they were also expensive. So glad we tried this place! We got there at 11:09 and despite having signs saying they stop serving breakfast at 11:00 they still allowed us to order. Their tortillas are homemade and you can tell the second you take a bite. They're amazing! The potato egg tacos had a hint of a bacon flavor and it was really good. The barbacoa tacos tasted like you got them from a stand at a flea market in Mexico. The chorizo plate was just like my suegra's home cooking. Service, flavor, price, and wait time were all reasonable. Definitely would give this place 10 out of 5 if I could! read more
