I've been to Frontera in Katy and I actually prefer this one. Place was clean, staff was friendly and attentive. The "chicharon" they give you to start your meal was . The frijoles were amazing. Same for the food. There was no need to add extra salt or anything. The salsa were spicy so a few drops is good enough. The papa was big we barely finished half of it.

Great vibes.

Great food and very affordable prices. Definitely a must try. The vibe is good. We had the quesadillas and the mulleta.

The tacos are so good! I recommend 10/10 and will be back! The tortillas are the best both flour and corn.

Tried this place just now and loved their tacos. They are flavorful and reasonably priced. The place is also very clean with fast service and glad I found a solid taco place near me now.

Nice place, new clean and spacious. Can't really go wrong here, quick friendly service. With simple flavor profiles, your choice on how you want your protein... some were a bit greaser than others but other than that the flavors were good. You do get a great portion of food for the price.

All the food was great but prefer the Doraquesos over regular tacos. The asada and tripa were my fav and beans were really good too They had a little mix up with our order not being printed and they made it right! Staff is nice If you been to taco frontera then you'll like this spot

Since moving to Houston, finding truly great street-style tacos has been a challenge. Having lived near the Tijuana border and experienced a variety of taco styles, we were excited to discover this spot and give it a try. It turned out to be one of the best taco places we've found in the city. The service was solid, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. While it isn't authentically Ensenada-style, it's a great option that satisfies the craving for now

The fajita tacos were amazing. They had a very smoky flavor and the Gorditas were good.

Had the potato and it was heavy but good. The pork is more flavorful than the steak but both were good.

El Tunco Pupuseria

We ordered pupusas, barbacoa, and a burrito. The pupusas were AMAZING (we got the kids' one), and they came with rice and beans that were also really good. The barbacoa came with two tortillas and was flavorful without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated since I'm not a fan of sweet barbacoa. My mom had the burrito and felt it could've had more flavor, but overall the food was still solid. The staff was super friendly, the bathrooms were clean and nice, and it was a comfortable spot to grab lunch. Definitely a great place to stop if you're hungry and want a satisfying, casual meal. Would come back again!

Waited about 15 minutes for Freshly made pupusas that come with tasty curtido and salsa, included. ( bean and cheese), and an order of platanos fritos that came with black beans and crema; portions large enough to share. The pupusa is one of the largest I have gotten, and the consistency and flavor were exactly the way I remember them from my time in El Salvador; authentic and delicious. Cost was $20 total, but would easily have fed two, and I have enough leftover for lunch, tomorrow, so a good value, for good food! Don't miss this spot; they have juices, and bottled and canned drinks, too. Will surely be back to enjoy more good food from their menu!

Between the family, we tried the barbacoa, chicharron, chicken fajita, and a fajita quesadilla. The fresh homemade tortillas really make a difference in every bite. I'd read reviews mentioning they were huge, but honestly, I didn't find them particularly oversized. Not a complaint at all, just not what I expected going in! My daughter loved her quesadilla and especially the cheese pull, which passed her personal "cheese test" with flying colors. The chicharron in salsa verde was a standout for me, perfectly seasoned, with no need for extra salt or salsa. Personally, I'd ask for the onion to be chopped just a bit smaller but that really is the only "complaint" I have. I also ordered the charro beans based on earlier reviews, and they were every bit as flavorful as promised. I'm already looking forward to trying their fresh-squeezed orange juice on our next visit. The staff was wonderfully welcoming from start to finish, and my husband, who went in with low expectations, was blown away by how delicious everything was. We're both so glad we gave this place a try. If you're looking for comforting, well-seasoned food in a warm, inviting setting, Nando's Tacos is absolutely worth the visit.

Serving tacos in the Humble TX area since 2022, Nando's Tacos (not to be confused with the chicken…read morerestaurant) serves up delicious full size tacos. My brother and I stopped in for carryout breakfast tacos on a Sunday morning. Alas, they didn't have brisket breakfast tacos, but had some good alternatives. Their flour tortilla is the choice here, and I believe it is Sonoran style: good enough to just eat by itself. My absolute favorite was the barbacoa ($3.25), very tender stewed beef with added onion and cilantro...not meant to be a breakfast taco I think. The other 3 tacos I tried did have egg. The potato & egg ($3.25) had big chunks of potato and plenty of egg: very filling not particularly tasty. The chorizo and egg ($3.25) was was prepared together, with the small chorizo pieces mixed in with the egg. And the fajita and egg ($4.79) used two slices of skirt steak flavored with fajita flavoring...for my preference, works better in skillet fajitas than in a breakfast taco. They also have menudo on the weekends, and both their corn and flour tortillas are homemade. As mentioned before, the flour tortillas are really good, and the barbacoa is definitely worth a visit.
