Great food! Came in for fast tacos and a drink and did not disappoint. Smoky Paloma is excellent as were the chicken fajita tacos!

Second time visiting this place! Although it has that bougie-feel when you walk in because everything is brand-stickin' new. This time around I got the chilaquiles verdes con arrachera--and let's just say that was a WINNER WINNER! Next time I want to do the chilaquiles divorciados (1/2 salsa verde/ 1/2 salsa ranchera). Waiters are great & the vibe is even better: I would love to return for a date night. We usually come as a family, which is just as enjoyable! The only con I have is how small the parking space is all-around. Other than that, come with your belly's empty! read more

Letty's did NOT let down! My coworkers and I were in town for meetings and staying close to the IAH airport. We were planning to get dinner at Pappadoux or Pappasito's, but when I looked them up on Yelp, the reviews were not great. Instead, I stumbled upon Letty's and called to see if they had room for our large group. They were incredibly accommodating, and they were able to seat the 13 of us together with only 30 minutes of notice. The decor was fun and beautiful, the food was fantastic (esp the ribeye appetizer,) but it was the staff / team who truly stood out and made our experience so fantastic. From the jefe holding the door open to welcoming us, to our server suggesting off-menu vegetarian options, we could hardly believe how welcome we felt. The restaurant was spacious, clean and incredibly chic / well designed and though we had already eaten too much earlier that day, the drinks and dinner had fantastic flavor, great portion sizes and most importantly.. they were served with so much love. Muchas gracias a mi familia Letty's!! read more

I am obsessed! Went here with two girlfriends and I was blown away by how beautiful this place is. Gorgeous art, gorgeous lighting, rafters, paint colors. Every inch of this place is curated and immaculate. We ate at the bar. The bartender was friendly, engaging, and knew the menu well. We shared the salsa flight then I got a Paloma which was so delicious and refreshing and the enchiladas suizas. The green sauce was tangy, tortillas fresh, rice and refried beans great. I don't even usually eat the beans and rice at places but I inhaled these. I will be back again and again. read more

Unfortunately, my experience with our waitress, Susana, really affected our visit. From the beginning, her attitude came across as rude,. I ordered a café de olla that was never brought to our table, and she barely checked on us throughout our visit. I also felt that the service toward my husband was especially poor and very rude . The restaurant itself is great, which is why I'm even more disappointed. I'm visiting from Austin, and my cousin recommended this place to me, so I was really looking forward to the experience. It's unfortunate that one person's service left such a negative impression on what could have been a great visit. read more

Stopped here on a business trip and had the most incredible Mexican meal I have ever had. This sounds crazy but it's not. I really mean ever had! I had the Chilaquiles de Carne Asada everything on the dish was on point. I had mine with the red sauce. Service was excellent at the bar as well. I will be here every chance I can when I am in town. read more

So happy I found this gem. My dad lives in Humble and I often have to bring food from the Southside. There is never anything good to eat by his home, but I stand corrected. I found this place on Yelp and it's only 5mins up the street from him. We entered with a party of five, e adults and 2kids. It's small, but I love the decor. This is a great date night or she-time spot with the ladies. Apps: Salsa flight & Chili con queso w/ ground beef Entrees: Beef & Chicken fajitas (Best Bite), Quesobirria & Chicken Flauntas Kids: Beef Taco w/ fries, Chicken Quesadilla w/ rice & beans We were quickly seated and our waitress was really sweet. Food was flavorful with nice portion sizes. We didn't use the salt or pepper at all. We will definitely be back. Enter freely, they've been approved read more

Wonderful food, amazing service. We enjoyed everything, including the fabulous drinks. We were on our through town for an IAH flight to S Africa and this was a great start to our trip. Give this place a shot if you're ever looking for a pre flight meal. The octopus entree and tuna appetizer were definitely great choices. If I lived nearby I'd be frequenting this place regularly. And open late on a Sunday night! Sit at the bar. The bartender is married to the owner and knows the menu inside and out (and makes fabulous drinks). read more

The food was really good. Had Tex mex cheese enchiladas. They do not offer complimentary chips or salsa. So I won't be back. That's always my favorite part of Mexican restaurants. But if you have never tried this place, you should. read more

Honestly... the best service I've ever had. Raul and Michelle were extremely welcoming, gave us recommendations and literally made us feel at home. They were extremely attentive, I just can't rave enough about them. We had the mole enchiladas and one of their popular ceviche. They were so on top of it that they offered to let me try a sample mole just to make sure I liked the style since there are over 20 different varieties of Mole throughout Mexico. Definitely will be one of our go to spots. Amazing job!! read more

I was meeting a client and stopped briefly. The decor is what drew me back to try Letty's. The decor is bright colors like in Mexico, but with a feminine touch. It is a small restaurant but the food and customer make up for it. Food - 4 stars The enchiladas were made just like my grandmother use to make them. Delicious. Customer service - 4 stars The staff were superb and friendly. They constantly checked on us. Price - 3-4 dollar signs Cleanliness- 4 stars Restroom - 4 stars read more

The decor is beautiful, but the food was not up to par in quality. No chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant is absolutely diabolical!! When I pay high prices for food, I expect high quality and the food just didn't do it for me. The rice and beans that came with the dish were not good at all. They were also tiny portions for what you get. It was nice to try for the experience, but I can't find myself returning. read more

Very good place to eat!! The food was fresh & very tasty!! It was a little on the high side for Mexican Food, but definitely well worth it to us:-) We would definitely eat here again. I had the fajita chicken tacos and my husband had pozole verde!! read more

My husband and I went here for the first time for our anniversary. From the outside you would never know how beautiful it is on the inside! It's upscale in an area of Humble that you wouldn't expect. I ordered the quesabirria. It was so tasty. My husband ordered one of the ceviches. I also ordered a margarita that was delicious and came in a unique container. The only negative I have is the price point. Everything, even at lunch, is expensive. My margarita alone was $20! You also have to pay if you would like chips and salsa. I would like to go back and try brunch. I've heard it's really good too. We would go back for a special occasion, but it won't be on a weekly or monthly rotation for our family only because of the expense. read more

Such a fun spot for dinner! I always come with my family. We love the interior design and the fun presentation of the cocktails and food. They have such great drinks. My favorite is the elderflower Paloma but I also like the sangria. As for food, the birria tacos are a MUST. They are sooooo incredibly delicious and rich. Love that this is a a locally owned restaurant. Highly recommend! read more

Absolutely amazing food with beautiful service. We stopped here on our way to the airport (IAH) after dropping off our bags with a long delay before our flight. Very close to the airport. I guess I've been in the mood for Mexican lately because I visited 2 authentic Mexican restaurants in the Houston area within a period of 3 days, Letty's being the 2nd one. They do not serve free chips and salsa here, like most all TexMex restaurants do. I came hoping for a reasonably priced lunch and you really won't find it here as the lunch menu ranges from $14 to $20. Dinner prices range from $17 to $25, with their trompo served tableside being $59. Their trompo dish is also served in a similar fashion at the 1st authentic Mexican restaurant I visited just 2 days prior, with similar pricing. Music in the background was salsa / tropical music during my visit although I'm a little disappointed that they let the same song repeat constantly about 10 or 12 times and nobody fixed it. I chose the Chile relleno with ground beef since I haven't had that in a while. You can choose between flour or corn tortillas, both of which are homemade. I chose flour. Chile relleno - it comes out from the kitchen very fast as others indicate. It's a pretty good version. The pepper was not spicy at all, except for the last bite right next to the seeds had a little blip of a kick. The dish comes with refried beans and rice. I enjoyed the beans the most as they tasted similar to beans I used to eat in Mexico as a teenager, homemade obviously. The rice for me was just okay. Other interesting menu items include: -crunchy pork belly served over guacamole; -4 different types of ceviche; however, Mahi is the only choice of protein; and -a traditional Chile relleno filled with fruits. Their lunch menu is tex-mex for the most part, except for maybe the mole enchiladas. They do not list fajitas for one on the menu, but will make it for you for around half the menu price or an order for 2 persons. 1 star off for the prices and not changing the music. This is more pricy than other restaurants in the area, it is Humble after all, so I hope they last long enough for me to return and try their beef fajitas. read more

We stopped in n to this unassuming cafe built in an old strip mall style front. We only had drinks and appetizers but both were fitting and great! Service was speedy and attentive. The decor is very quaint with a youthful atmosphere (they have a insta-worthy backdrop if that's your thing!). We opted to try the zarzamora drinks that come in a unique hanging cup. They are a blackberry margarita with a touch of pineapple and agave to sweeten. Warning, if you don't like sweet alcohol drinks, this isn't for you! That being said, it's made with Avion Blanco and has a good pour. At $19 a drink, it tips the scale to the higher side for a specialty margarita but worth a try for sure. The restaurant doesn't offer free chips and salsa but do have it as an option on the menu as a salsa flight that's well worth it with three house made salsas. The chips are traditional flour chips and not bagged corn chips. They end up being deceivingly filling! We topped off the app list with the yellow queso which was unremarkable but good. Overall, I have this excellent spot as a must try but beware a couple of drinks and appetizers will run pricey for the area and the fare. Excellent staff, great decor, and an amazing bartender make this a must try spot. We plan to come out for on a weekend and check out their brunch options! Until next time! read more

I got stranded in Humble, Texas for a day. I saw Letty's had good reviews and not far from the hotel. Service was great.. very attentive. Place is aesthetically pleasing! Very traditional decor- easy on the eye. A real down side is almost if not ALL their chicken options in the menu are made with the exact same chicken recipe (shredded chicken) we had 3 "different" chicken entrees and they all contained the same chicken. Idk felt overpriced for their menu/freshness options. read more

Letty's Authentic Mexican Cocina is not your average taco joint -- it's upscale, colorful, and absolutely worth checking out if you're in the mood for elevated Mexican cuisine with some flair. I picked it for the sole reason my late mother's name was Letty! I'm glad I did. The vibe is vibrant and artsy, with cool decor that immediately sets the tone for something special. I sat at the bar, and Armando was incredibly helpful walking me through the menu since it was my first visit. Shoutout to him for being both friendly and informative! I couldn't resist trying the Zarzamora -- a dazzling blackberry margarita served in the most creative hanging glass globe I've ever seen. At $19, it was definitely a splurge, but it was smooth, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Total conversation piece and worth the one-time experience! I also grabbed the guacamole appetizer, which was fresh, flavorful, and served with perfectly crisp house-made chips. Everything screamed quality, from presentation to ingredients. This place isn't a weekly stop for my budget, but it's absolutely a gem for special outings or treating yourself to something out of the ordinary. High-end Mexican with style, and a drink menu that's just as bold as the decor. Definitely worth a visit! read more

What a find! A colorful, little place off old 1960 that is full of authentic flavors at reasonable prices. We were immediately met by our service who genuinely seemed to enjoy his job. He recommended an appetizer featuring crispy pork belly over guacamole but when the kitchen determined the pork belly wasn't crispy enough to serve, he brought me a complimentary sample. The menu featured some Jalisco favorites and we dove right in. The food was off the charts good! read more

Letty's is an absolute gem for authentic Mexican food in Humble. We started with the flight of salsas, which was fantastic -- each one had its own personality: one tangy, another smoky, and the last with a bright acidic kick. The pozole was a standout, with a rich, flavorful broth and all the classic fixings -- cilantro, onions, radishes, and oregano -- that made every spoonful perfect. The ceviche sinaloense was another highlight: well-balanced, vibrant, and definitely one for those who enjoy a bit of spice. Both the fajita platter and cochinita pibil came with homemade corn tortillas, which made all the difference. The fajitas were tender and juicy, and the cochinita pibil had that deep, authentic flavor that's exactly how it should taste. Our waitress, Michelle, was fantastic -- attentive, friendly, and on it throughout the whole service, which made the experience even better. read more

We looked up some places to meet up with friends for dinner and stumbled upon this spot. It was already packed, with one half of the restaurant being used for a birthday party, and the other tables occupied by other guests, so we knew this place had to be good (and it was!). We got some cocktails, and I got the quesabirrias and churros, which hit the spot on the chilly evening we dined in. The owner came up and chatted with us towards the end too- he's a pastry chef who opened this restaurant just five months ago. Glad to see new small businesses doing well! read more
