So happy I found this gem. My dad lives in Humble and I often have to bring food from the Southside. There is never anything good to eat by his home, but I stand corrected. I found this place on Yelp and it's only 5mins up the street from him. We entered with a party of five, e adults and 2kids. It's small, but I love the decor. This is a great date night or she-time spot with the ladies. Apps: Salsa flight & Chili con queso w/ ground beef Entrees: Beef & Chicken fajitas (Best Bite), Quesobirria & Chicken Flauntas Kids: Beef Taco w/ fries, Chicken Quesadilla w/ rice & beans We were quickly seated and our waitress was really sweet. Food was flavorful with nice portion sizes. We didn't use the salt or pepper at all. We will definitely be back. Enter freely, they've been approved

Carne Guisada and it was awesome.

My husband and I went here for the first time for our anniversary. From the outside you would never know how beautiful it is on the inside! It's upscale in an area of Humble that you wouldn't expect. I ordered the quesabirria. It was so tasty. My husband ordered one of the ceviches. I also ordered a margarita that was delicious and came in a unique container. The only negative I have is the price point. Everything, even at lunch, is expensive. My margarita alone was $20! You also have to pay if you would like chips and salsa. I would like to go back and try brunch. I've heard it's really good too. We would go back for a special occasion, but it won't be on a weekly or monthly rotation for our family only because of the expense.

We were in Houston from Minnesota on a spring break getaway. My watermelon and strawberry margarita was divine. The flautas came with a delicious salsa verde and the cochinita pibil was melt-in-your-mouth fabulous. My daughter and I loved the decor and our waiter Antonio was very helpful and attentive. We had a nice conversation with the owner. So happy we came across this gem! Stop here if you have a chance.

Outstanding food, drinks and dessert. Everything we got was of amazing quality. Domingo the restaurant owner came out to chat with us. Of particular note the drinks were crafted really well, courtesy of their top notch bartender.

Absolutely amazing food with beautiful service. We stopped here on our way to the airport (IAH) after dropping off our bags with a long delay before our flight. Very close to the airport. Love that it's family owned, and the owner came over the chat with us. We had fajitas, menudo, and steak tacos with the best Paloma I've ever had. Come here. You will not regret it!

Chile relleno - with ground beef

I guess I've been in the mood for Mexican lately because I visited 2 authentic Mexican restaurants in the Houston area within a period of 3 days, Letty's being the 2nd one. They do not serve free chips and salsa here, like most all TexMex restaurants do. I came hoping for a reasonably priced lunch and you really won't find it here as the lunch menu ranges from $14 to $20. Dinner prices range from $17 to $25, with their trompo served tableside being $59. Their trompo dish is also served in a similar fashion at the 1st authentic Mexican restaurant I visited just 2 days prior, with similar pricing. Music in the background was salsa / tropical music during my visit although I'm a little disappointed that they let the same song repeat constantly about 10 or 12 times and nobody fixed it. I chose the Chile relleno with ground beef since I haven't had that in a while. You can choose between flour or corn tortillas, both of which are homemade. I chose flour. Chile relleno - it comes out from the kitchen very fast as others indicate. It's a pretty good version. The pepper was not spicy at all, except for the last bite right next to the seeds had a little blip of a kick. The dish comes with refried beans and rice. I enjoyed the beans the most as they tasted similar to beans I used to eat in Mexico as a teenager, homemade obviously. The rice for me was just okay. Other interesting menu items include: -crunchy pork belly served over guacamole; -4 different types of ceviche; however, Mahi is the only choice of protein; and -a traditional Chile relleno filled with fruits. Their lunch menu is tex-mex for the most part, except for maybe the mole enchiladas. They do not list fajitas for one on the menu, but will make it for you for around half the menu price or an order for 2 persons. 1 star off for the prices and not changing the music. This is more pricy than other restaurants in the area, it is Humble after all, so I hope they last long enough for me to return and try their beef fajitas.

They took the time to accommodate us right before closing on Christmas Eve, we couldn't ask for better service anywhere, without rush or complaints. Our bartender was right GET THE CHICKEN FLAUTAS!! So crispy pairs with great flavor forward sauces. A you won't go wrong with the Zarzamor cocktail so good i forgot to get a picture. The venue is cozy cute and full of color! A great place to good food in conversation. Right in Humble!!!

We stopped in n to this unassuming cafe built in an old strip mall style front. We only had drinks and appetizers but both were fitting and great! Service was speedy and attentive. The decor is very quaint with a youthful atmosphere (they have a insta-worthy backdrop if that's your thing!). We opted to try the zarzamora drinks that come in a unique hanging cup. They are a blackberry margarita with a touch of pineapple and agave to sweeten. Warning, if you don't like sweet alcohol drinks, this isn't for you! That being said, it's made with Avion Blanco and has a good pour. At $19 a drink, it tips the scale to the higher side for a specialty margarita but worth a try for sure. The restaurant doesn't offer free chips and salsa but do have it as an option on the menu as a salsa flight that's well worth it with three house made salsas. The chips are traditional flour chips and not bagged corn chips. They end up being deceivingly filling! We topped off the app list with the yellow queso which was unremarkable but good. Overall, I have this excellent spot as a must try but beware a couple of drinks and appetizers will run pricey for the area and the fare. Excellent staff, great decor, and an amazing bartender make this a must try spot. We plan to come out for on a weekend and check out their brunch options! Until next time!

I got stranded in Humble, Texas for a day. I saw Letty's had good reviews and not far from the hotel. Service was great.. very attentive. I ordered the enmoladas which came with a side of rice and beans. The mole was really good! It's hard to find a good mole but man this one was right there. Rice and beans were ok but the mole stole the show. I don't know when I'll be back in Humble but I if I am I know where to get good mole.

Food was so flavorful, staff was sweet and attentive! Can't wait to come back Looking forward to bringing my friend and family at my next visit!!

Chilaquiles rojos con carne (beef), chilaquiles con huevo (egg), quesabirrias, lemonada y agua de jamaica (hibiscus water)

Food is delicious, music is great, the staff is amazing! We've came twice and has never failed us, will keep coming

    Strawberry shortcake

The vibe and ambience were amazing- whoever decorated this restaurant is incredible! (I wish I took more photos- but I was too busy looking around) The food was an equally wonderful compliment to the setting. There were 4 of us and we all ordered something different- every dish was delicious and the presentation on point! The fish tacos and birria were especially fantastic! Their bartender made great margaritas and they had several eye-catching cocktails. Definitely save room for dessert- their baker/ pastry chef makes a killer strawberry short cake. I should have ordered 2 slices! Staff were attentive and super friendly - highly recommend!

Ambiance: 5/5 Nestled in the shopping strip center off 59 HWY from the outside it blends until you notice the sign and you see "cocktail lounge" I believe it's a first the front of Kingwood and I got excited and had to stop in. Plenty of parking and casual attire is welcome. But if you want to don your full on spurs, Stetsons and swagger or your surf threads, go right ahead! Although I'm sure shirt and shoes are required and you'll probably get cold since there is no sun or waves inside. Once inside the theme is as the name of the bar is, Cowboys and Surfers. Plenty of seating from booths, tables and bar. And there's also pool table and shuffle board. There was a live band "Pack of Strays" playing and was enjoyable. The lounge has live music on certain days and a Happy Hour everyday from 4-7, so I will have to come back to check that out. Service: 4/5 I sat at the bar and bartender didn't really engage much, though I noticed him engaging with a couple of select groups. No I wasn't on my phone when I walked in, if anything I make it a point to be mindful when entering any place as to note my surroundings and also be able to tell what the vibe is like. Though the service wasn't necessarily anything noteworthy, which attention & engagement would've made the experience/review a 5, the drinks were specially crafted which takes mindfulness to make. Food/Drinks: 4/5 Their menu has multiple options when it comes to drinks and also offer some food selections. I didn't get to try the food, but saw some items that looked interesting and want to try. They also have a list of beers and wine, so again, something for every taste. For this visit I only had two drinks. Beach Break: 4/5 with choice of Gin or Vodka (I went with gin of course) it has a refreshing taste as it is shaken with fresh cucumbers and lime juice, it also has simple syrup. It was more tart than I would think it probably was going for. I did appreciate that they didn't go heavy on the sweetness, but would've liked it with agave as the fresh ingredients would go well with it. For my next visit I will likely ask to substitute with agave as they do have it and it was in my next drink. The Kingwood: 4/5 crafted with my favorite "Hendricks gin" and named after the neighborhood we live in, this cocktail is also refreshing and enjoyed more than the Beach Break. It went down easy, bartender did ask if I was good with the jalapeño that it's muddled with and this time I opted to only have it with muddled cucumber. Again refreshing and not tart so maybe this is the alternative to Beach Break. It is made with topo chico and Tajín rim. Overall it is a laid back environment, live music and the drink options are promising, it's a cocktail shop (candy shop). If you live in the area or find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and come kick up your boots and hang ten.

It was store bought hummus, which would honestly be fine, but instead of peta bread or chips they used bagged tortilla chips, which was odd. Second time I ordered beef quesadillas. The bartender said it would be ground beef which was fine. I was expecting something closer to burger, but what they had essentially done was take two tortillas, put chili and cheese between them and called it a beef quesadilla. Honestly I'd give this place 4 or 5 stars if they didn't include the food, but the food was just odd.
