This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food and service are wonderful. Good southern country breakfast.

Service was ok, waiting for food was a long wait. But unfortunately the sausage Pattie's were definitely disgusting you could tell they were a frozen poor quality brand. It was kind of a waste of money and time. Tables were oily and sticky if that could be possible. Menus were dirty...needed to wash my hands after viewing it. It just didn't make sense with the rating they have...did not match the quality of the restaurant especially the quality of food. I would rather go to Cracker Barrel and I'm not a fan of them that much. Sorry guys, this isn't it and just find somewhere else to eat. read more

Tried the new location yesterday. I'm a bit appalled at our bill for breakfast yesterday. After tax and tip, $42! WHAT??? If I'm going to spend that kind of $ on breakfast, I'd rather go to Cracker Barrel. I had French toast, 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and a Diet Coke. Hubby had the Chorizo scramble and coffee. We love that Splendora has a local 'country breakfast'' location. The service is always great! The food is fresh, hit and made to order. Karen is the best server in the place... alway try to sit at one of her stations! The eggs Benedict are my favorite. I really wish they would up-grade their sausage though. For all other menu items to be delicious.. their sausage patty's are grade Awful. Surely they could use a different product/supplier. Other than the sausage... The decor and restaurant is country and super quaint they had 1 restroom for everyone, also coloring books and crayons for kiddos, indoor or outdoor covered seating available also you pick your seat and then a waitress brings you a menu and gets your drink order. The restaurant was fairly clean ! The menu has a wide variety of options I choose the French toast combination it came with eggs, potatoes, and 4 pieces of French toast. It was delicious and I attempted to eat every bite my beverage was sweet tea and tasted awesome. The waitress were attentive and food was out fast after ordering. My experience was easy and nice and I'll be back. However another patron said the fries were soft and needed them to be fried longer the waitress got her another order to the ladies liking very quickly!! read more

This place is one of the best hole in the wall breakfast diners that I have ever found. I had the biscuit and gravy combo, which was delicious. My partner had the Big Papa and he looked everything. The potatoes were the best and I highly recommend. The server was very patient with us as it was our first time. She also worked diligently and got our food out within 10 minutes. Place is slipping a bit, the food isn't quite like it used to be, and the staff aren't really attentive. I feel like I'm eating at a taco truck with all the disposable plates, trays, cups and the flimsiest plastic cutlery available. They allow parents with little kids to watch loud obnoxious videos on their devices while they eat, this is a small place and that type of thing is offensive and off putting to others. Stopped for breakfast, table of 5. Pretty small interior and for sure feels like a whole in the wall type joint but you can tell it's family owned and they love what they do. For $4.99, I had 2 pancakes, 2 eggs cooked to order, 2 pieces of crispy bacon, as requested, and 2 fresh, fluffy pancakes, Plus my choice of the Best home fries I've had in forever. (You can choose grits, or toast,too,but don't miss these potatoes!). Yes..$4.99!! My friend had a scrambled egg platter, and the food was fresh, hot and not salty or overly seasoned. It did take about 5-10 minutes more for our food to come than one of the chains who just recently annoyed us with a fake name change, but if you're making my breakfast to order, I can relax and wait a minute. Short wait was Well worth it. Had the Beef fajita omelette. Was the worst omelette I have ever had. No flavor everything seemed like it came out of the frozen section at Walmart. Could even eat it. No butter no salt no anything.
