Service is usually pretty solid and the food comes out pretty quickly. There are instances where we have had to ask for refills, ask for our waiter after not seeing them for extended times, so I feel the service could be improved as well as the enthusiasm of the front desk staff. The ambiance is nice and the outside sitting is great, weather permitting. Might want to brush off the underside of the outside ceiling and sidewalls. Overall, I really like Sharky's in general. A little attention to the small things would make this a 5 star.

The entire restaurant is decorated with old-school totems & signs that make you travel back in time. It is homey and whimsically designed--anyone would appreciate this. The cornbread reminds me of a version of the intoxicating rolls from Texas Roadhouse (BUT this cornbread is better) it is served with a cinnamon & regular butter. I always order a new item when I return, and this time the Philly cheesesteak was the main character. It was meaty and scrumptious & the onion rings added a nice touch. Servers here feel like family and who doesn't love that! Also please try the root beer or creme soda they are crafted by themselves!! Food: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 1000/10

My mother-in-law was visiting from out of town and she wanted Country cooking, so I thought we would give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! Our food was delicious! Excellent service, and of course the ambiance supports down home goodness we love. Only complaint was the fries were soggy and a bit greasy. The fried shrimp was excellent and she loved her chicken & dumplings! (And she's a hard one to please with those) .... All in all a great meal!

Breakfast cost us about $10 less than when we go to other chain places. When you have the choice of hashbrowns or country potatoes, get the country potatoes. They're cheesy and delicious. Updating my review!…read more My mom, husband, and I went this morning for breakfast and to start off the place wasn't as packed we found a booth pretty quick. It did take a while for anyone to attend us, I had to ask someone for menus and to take our drinks. My mom ordered the chicken fried steak and the waiter seemed a bit confused on what the menu said. My mom was confused too because on the menu it had two of the same name items with different prices. Anyway he took her order and he put in for the " country fried steak" as he called it and she also asked for the gravy on the side. My husband and I ordered waffles combo plates and my husband asked for a side of bacon. When the food arrived the gravy was on my mom's food when she asked for it on the side and she asked to get it replaced. She got it back and once she started cutting it it's was actually chicken fried chicken. She didn't want to ask to take it back so she just ate it. The good thing is she said her meal was delicious even though she didn't get exactly what she wanted. She also very much enjoyed the coffee. When it came to my mine and my husbands meal the sausage on his plate looked pale as if it was left on the grilled for one minute each side so we asked if it could be slightly more cooked and we're super grateful that the waiter took it back and brought crisper sausage linked on our plate. Now the only other disappointment from my husband's meal is that he never got his extra bacon instead he was brought extra sausage links. We didn't want to send it back either so we just kept it and he ate that. Overall all the food was amazing just wish everything was given to us the way we ordered it in the beginning. I would still go back and eat there.
