I know this because my fish taco with 1 bite taken out was still there. And the fish taco - smallest piece of fish ever - you could not even taste it with the tortilla and cheese on there. The waiter was always lost, we had to flag him down several times to get things. We ordered a Margarita and 15 minutes later still did not have it but the 4 top they just sat got all of theirs! We ended up ordering the fajitas (chicken, beef, and shrimp), and they were just awful. The meat was dry and oversalted and the shrimp was completely inedible and stuck to the shell. The guacamole was that weird squeeze bag stuff and the pico seemed old, like the kind you get at the grocery store that sits in a container and has zero flavor. I'm only giving the restaurant two stars instead of one because the salsa was pretty good. The green was definitely better, but they were both pretty good. Like I said, I am pretty easy to please and most of the issues could have been forgiven. The kids don't bother me, I don't mind waiting a bit, I understand that restaurants can be understaffed at times. However, I just can't forgive the pretty clear lack of effort behind the food.

I found this on a Tuesday in the middle of May as I had an assignment in the Cleveland/Sheppard area of Texas. Many of you know that Taco Tuesdays are my thing. Finding taco spots in small towns are a challenge but fortunately this truck was available across from the gas station on 23 County Road. It's your standard taco truck serving tortas, tostados, burritos, gorditas, quesadillas, sopes, burgers & hot dogs. About 8 protein options are available, cash only (or Zelle/cash app), and mainly en espanol (although they speak some english). I did an order of tacos (Fajita, Barbacoa, Lengua, Buche), a chicharron gordita, and some quesadillas (regular sized tripa; small barbabcoa). They also give you a complimentary charo beans that you can eat while you wait. The beans smell amazing that are piping hot with some meat drippings mixed in. Good way to start the meal. Upon receiving your food, you can either eat at their picnic tables or take it to go. I brought it back to my hotel room and unpacked; fortunately everything kept well with no spillage or messings like some places. The tacos are good size with the lengua and fajita being my favorite. The buche is a unique protein, basically pig's stomach so there's a chewy texture so may not be for everyone; I'm glad I tried it. The gordita was excellent; very filling with meat, beans, and cheese packed in; loved every bite of it. The quesadillas are also delicious with the tripa being crunchy and barbacoa being tender and succulent. Every item was straight up fire from here. If you find yourself in Cleveland, be sure to stop at this truck and check it out. Hours are 5-11PM Monday-Friday. And don't forget cash!
