Delicious drinks! The oysters were fresh and the hot sauce that came on the side was incredible. We asked if it was a house recipe and the waitress said even she can't get the kitchen to tell her what's in it. Would definitely go back!

I really enjoyed this true speakeasy style bar. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that they were having a burlesque show that night. The show waa excellent we really enjoyed it. There is no filming during the show so you will have to go see it for yourself. I love the fact that they have an actual tub on the bar and that one of the burlesque dancers actually used it for their performance. There is a splash zone and we were in it lol but we didn't get too wet. I don't remember there being a cover but their was a burlesque fee added to our bill. I don't remember how much it was but I didn't mind it because it was worth it. I love that their menu was an actual newspaper. The service and drinks were good.

Great cocktails and fun vibes! Can't go wrong for a great night out with friends. Liked their classic cocktails more than the specialty ones.

As a gin lover, stopping here was a must. My companion surprised me with a trip here and to our surprise, it was a burlesque show night. We were able to sit close to the bar and we enjoyed a very entertaining show whilst enjoying a couple cocktails. There's a variety of G&Ts to choose from which was great but nothing particularly stood out flavor wise. That's not to say they weren't well made because they were. The ambiance was very intimate and romantic which I loved. I also loved the newspaper style menu which gave an old speakeasy feel. Overall it was a good time with a sexy surprise.

On a warm summer evening we decided to check out this Eclectic speakeasy downtown. Having started the night on a rooftop with incredible views of the city we decided it was time to go underground and see what we could unearth. The place slews dimly lit and we found a table pretty quickly which was a score. The drinks menus featured all sorts of concoctions of the gin variety and fairly priced for NYC. Overall it's the kind of place you need to have a cool crew with you because there isn't much interaction with any of the others in the place. But the vibe is cool and worth checking out. Bonus points to the staff that let us take pictures inside the bathtub!

This is another one of those places where I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We came here for a nightcap after a Broadway show, and every part of our experience was perfect. They were able to seat us right away. The food and drinks came out really quickly. The s'mores old fashioned was one of the best cocktails I've ever had. The vibe of this place was perfect for a late-night drink. I'll definitely be telling all of my friends about Bathtub Gin.

Hidden behind a coffee shop, Bathtub Gin is a elevated, sophisticated, dimly lit, cozy surprise when you enter. We were seated at a booth and it was the perfect spot to talk, catch-up and enjoy. Our waiter was kind and attentive, helping us with our order. We ordered the Gin Mill Gimlet and S'mores Old Fashioned, which were both delicious. The S'mores Old Fashioned was especially tasty and I would definitely order again. A perfect spot to go for a date or with friends that feels somewhat hidden and makes for a special night.

I reeeaally loved this cocktail bar! Their drinks are truly an art and absolutely fantastic. Our server had such great knowledge about various liquors and cocktails and flavor palettes. The atmosphere is sooo intimate and moody. Great for a date or a small party. Will absolutely be coming back!!

Small speakeasy with a moody, dimly-lit ambiance! Perfect for a date! I stopped by Bathtub Gin with a group of 6 friends for post-dinner drinks and their Make Your Own S'mores experience. The table they sat us at was very small for our large party, but I loved the decor and dark vibe of the bar. The s'mores were fun to make, but nothing that I couldn't get from the grocery store and put together on my own! Would skip next time!

    Live Wire.

This 1920's speakeasy is hidden behind Stone Street coffee shop. Once you enter, there is a required coat check (at least during the winter days). Since there was a live band playing (it was a Wednesday night), they did charge $10pp for table seats and $5pp for the standing bar. We opted for the bar area where we were eventually able to snag some bar stools. We had a few rounds here as I was able to try Drop A Dime Collin's ($19), S'mores Old Fashioned ($20), Ducky Highball ($19), and Live Wire ($19). I did enjoy the old fashioned which was strong, but found the live wire to be way too sweet. The band that was playing had great vibes playing lots of old school R&B, which I loved. Good vibes overall with some decent drinks. The music can get quite loud, but the live music is fun.

Waited a bit in line to get in for a drink. No tables, just standing room available. I got the s'mores old fashioned and it was delicious! Love the marshmallow it came with too. Would come back to try other options as well.

Great ambiance and aesthetic with delicious drinks. Surprisingly, it wasn't insanely loud inside and the tables are spaced such that it isn't as crowded as some other speakeasies or bars. I really liked their vintage magazine/menu style which was a nice tough in addition to the usual QR code menu that was available. Drinks were reasonable for NYC (~$20 each) and leaned heavily towards coffee and s'mores themed variations. Service is friendly and efficient, although I was turned off by the fact that they have a bathroom attendant. Not sure why a speakeasy needs one, but did not like the fact that they kept gesturing towards their Venmo and tip jar for turning on the water faucet and handing me paper towels. Gives off a club vibe but other than that it was enjoyable. Was relatively easy to secure a reservation and they give you two hours which is more generous than most!

I've had this spot on my list forever. However, when you're the gin lover of your crew you get vetoed often. But not this night. A friend and I met here on Thursday after-work and just about fell in deep like with this place. We got there pretty early so we had our pick with seating and sat in the middle on one of the cute round couches. We decided to forego the bathtub b/c we didn't want to struggle getting out of it. Lol We tried one of the G&Ts, but I couldn't tell you which. I can tell you it was refreshing and satisfying. I also had the sangria. That was good as well, just a lil on the sweet side. We shared an order of the chicken sliders since we were inhaling drinks. Lol Service was excellent and I'm sure our waiter practiced patience when trying to figure of which G&Ts we wanted to try. Lol. Super cute spot to meet up with friends or date night. I'll definitely be back.

Do I need to make a reservation for the bar or just if we plan on eating?

You need a reservation for the tables but not if you are planning on being at the bar. There may be a wait to get into the establishment though depending what day/time you go

    Do you have outdoor dining?

Hi Jaclyn, Unfortunately we're temporarily closed until March 30th. Once we reopen we will have…

Is there still a burlesque show sunday evenings?

Is there a limit of people you can make a reservation for?

For private events, 100 guests standing or 50 seated. For regular reservations, 8 people per table. No limit on the number of tables.

If dinner reservations are made for a Sunday, is the room the same room as the show or seating for dinner is separate?

It's all one big room, you should be fine!

What time is the burlesque show at on sundays- during brunch at 2:30 or at night?

Yes there are two shows on sunday one foe brunch 2:30 and one in the evening 8:45 and they have one on Tuesday's aswell 8:45

    Is there a dress code?

No! Wear whatever you want. Most people dress up. I've gone in heels once and sneakers another time :)

Is there an age limit for entry?

    I think you can't be over 80

Will there be a burlesque show tomorrow, Easter Sunday?

Yes 230 pm and 930 pm

Hi! I have heard all about this place and that it has weekly burlesque events but I cannot quite figure out which days they happen? In the website there is not actual date time info about the events.

Sundays and Tuesdays I believe at 9:45pm :)

It has easily earned a spot as one of my favorite bars of all time. The underground space flawlessly captures a raw, seedy, 1980s rock 'n' roll vibe, with eclectic decor that extends beautifully to the themed menus and custom glassware. Sitting at the bar was a highlight--the bartenders were fantastic, clearly proud of their craft, and they even humorously indulged my game of trying to guess the ingredients of each drink they mixed. The cocktail lineup is phenomenal. A few absolute highlights: the Purple Rain with its purple ice and peppercorn, the flambéed Dirty Dancing, a brilliant espresso martini riff called Flick The Bean, and Pure Temptation--which has glassware you just have to see for yourself. Don't miss this place if you're in NYC!

You need a password (easy to find online), and you go through a hidden door down a staircase. But it feels more like a novelty than anything else. NYC has way more iconic speakeasies, so this isn't somewhere I'd go out of my way for more than once. Nothing wrong with the vibe--it's Times Square, so you already know what you're getting--but it's definitely a one-and-done kind of spot. The drinks are good and super fun, but they're very extra (smoke, presentation, all that), so between that and how packed it gets, it can take a while just to get one cocktail. Didn't try the food. Overall, go for the pics and TikToks--it's perfect for that. I'd recommend checking it out once, but I don't really see it being a repeat spot.

From our initial trip last year, I had marked a place called Bar 369 Miroku located in Hell's Kitchen. Being that we didn't make our way to the spot on our trip last year, and were staying in Hell's Kitchen this time around, I wanted us to check out. The only challenge was actually finding it. If you're seeking out this gorgeous speakeasy. You aren't going to find it through some darkened alleyway or non-marked door of a building outside. No. You need to check the website and read between the lines of it being located within a sushi bar on West 46th Street. I could tell you the name, but what fun would that be? Figure that part out. But once you figure out how to access, the staff at said-sushi bar will direct you to the back of the restaurant to wheee you will see a sign for the bar and a stairwell to take you up to the second floor. Once you reach and look around, it looks at first you have reached a dead end between the emergency exit you see and a door that looks locked. There is a black curtain in the darkened hallway you need to notice and peer through. And alas, you will discover the bar that is Bar 369 Miroku. Once you have been checked for ID, and your party number, you are escorted into the small, darkly-lit enclave with plush decor, a bit of a Rolling Stones theme with its large poster hung in the back and artwork perched next to the bar shelving. It's an intimate and relaxed energy that makes it perfect to enjoy one of the Japanese-inspired cocktails on an evening after dinner. The hideaway offers a creative mix of craft cocktail options such as the Ichitaki Spritz (a variation of the Aperol spritz with sake in it), which was quite delightful that I enjoyed immensely within the dark lounge surroundings. If we were here more often, I would have taken advantage of their Japanese whisky selection that looked on point. There is a delectable charm to their curation and craftsmanship of their cocktails, combined with the luscious ambience that makes for a great hangout spot to get away and relax for the night. Bar 369 Miroku hits the mark regarding the speakeasy experience you would think to have when describing one, outside of not needing a password. The bar combines dark, stylish elegance with modern Japanese mixology magic to create an environment nestled deep away from the busy Manhattan streets outside.

Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste.
