Such a fun experience for a girls night out. We absolutely loved the vibes, and all the drinks were amazing aka they tasted great and def got us lit too. The staff was also super friendly and accommodating. They also have a photobooth that we def made the most of. I will recommend getting a reservation, especially if you have a large group. Otherwise, you get put by the bar and there isn't a lot of space near that area.

Randomly stumbled on this speakeasy and I loved it, right next door to the mean fiddler, make reservations so that you can retrieve the password to enter. This place was such a vibe, 80's/90's theme. Old tube tvs playing classics such as the breakfast club, Ferris bullers day off and so much more. Great music and service. The waitress was amazing and so were the drinks the purple rain was a must, and the dirty dancing as well. I highly recommend. There's a Photo Booth for pictures, nostalgic photos hung around the place from classic moments in time. I loved it. Bring a date, bring the girls, bring some friends you'll have a great time.

I've been wanting to come here for a while and I am so glad I did! My two besties and I came for drinks after a show and we had the best time. I love the music selections and that you can hear the music but are still able to talk to your friends. Drinks are all fun themed and the food ended up being better than I was expecting it to be. I had the dirty dancing and sex cures anxiety drinks and the sliders for food. Service was good and we had a great overall visit.

I finally went to The Woo Woo speakeasy with two friends who had been here before. A passcode is required for entry and it is located below Mean Fiddler. Per their website "The Woo Woo is serving up 1980's vibes, craft cocktails and risque seduction in this underground speakeasy sex shop." Conveniently located in Hell's Kitchen/Theater District near trains. Party of 3 on a Friday night. We reserved in advance. Note that there is a 90 minute seating limit. We had a 6:30 reservation and there were large groups still being seated when we left. We all love the vibe, the music, and the 80s movies being shown on the TV screens (Flash Dance!) The staff was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. For cocktails we had: Sex cures anxiety Purple rain Dirty dancing The Dominatrix Morning wood Pretty in Pink We shared food: Buffalo chicken spring rolls French fry nachos Carne asada tacos (They were out of the fish tacos and the shrimp dish. We originally wanted the fish tacos.) One person in our party already has plans to come back this month. I would definitely come back.

Closer to a 3.5 rating, the concept of the bar is fun and different especially given that you need a password to get it (available on the website) and the entrance inside is a bookshelf. However, we went in without a reservation and the hostess pointed out that it was standing room only and to not sit at the tables. We were under the impression that maybe they were so busy or had lots of reservations that we could not sit, however, there was probably less than 10 tables with guests the entire time we were there. Not sure if it was due to servers available. Overall the drinks were good and they had games available and a photo booth to take pictures in.

This speakeasy is masked behind a sex toy store .The entry was very intreguing as we went to the right door and it asked for the password , which took us a while to figure but we had a lot of fun finding it . The entry down is vibrant and filled with neon graffiti. The ambience is dark and loud which I personally enjoyed however I wouldnt recommend to anyone who is loking for a quite place. The drinks were very average , a few were very sugary. We did not land up ordering any food .The vibe was amazing , i just wish the drinks were better quality and more balanced. On our way out we scrolled through the sex toy store which was very very cool .

Excellent little speakeasy located about a block away from Times Square. It's essentially an unsuspecting little sex shop turned drinking spot... the drinks are actually really good here and super creative. Totally a spot worthy of checking out if you're in the area. It's a total conversation piece!. Password required but available on their website.

The staff here is friendly and the service was great. To get in, you need to say the secret password. The theming inside is really retro and makes you feel like you went back in the past. The place was lively and it was a fun spot. There was a decent amount of seating inside and they sell food too. I got the little mermaid and this other drink with toasted marshmallow at the top. The drinks were both really tasty and good quality. Just like the many drinks I've tried in New York, the drinks are expensive. I recommend making a reservation here.

I came here to celebrate my 40th birthday and it was a blast. I came here looking for 80s vibes and that's what I got with a side of sex toy store. The neon lights and retro ceilings take you back to the seedy streets of 80s New York. They honor this side of New York with drinks called Pornstar and Blowjob. The music is also from the 80s and even though it may not seem like a big enough spot but there was room to dance and the dj would add to the party vibe by spotlighting the birthday girls. The food was good as well. I enjoyed the sliders and the wings. I would definitely come back here another night for drinks and dancing.

It's such a fun speakeasy. 80's music playing with old movies on the screen. The staff is pretty attentive. We've been there for drinks but not really for food. Lots of fun games to play with a group of friends. The R-Rated sex shop theme is fun as well.

The Woo Woo is located very close to Times Square and you have to supply the entry word that can be found on the website! The reservations were hard to make online but it seemed that some error had occurred but I called and put in a reservation. The space is fun and very spacious! Most speakeasy's are much smaller. The drinks? Stellar! The food? Stellar and the service was stellar. This is a Greta place to check out as a couple or small group. I'd return and would encourage others to as well!

Side note: it was my first trip to New York and I fell in love with this city! (Yes I'm making my way back to the city) Of course, it was my first time trying a sexy speakeasy in NY. I've seen folks raved about this hidden gem so an add to my itinerary. I've enjoyed the ambience here. It gave an intimate, moody fun feel to it. I love where an energetic crowd is located and here you will find. This spot hides in the basement area and nope not hard to miss. However, before striding down to the spook sexy level, you must ring the bell on the street level. The host will ask you for the password before letting you in, which I thought was fun! I'm like okayyy this feels exclusive haha Come here during your next trip to NY...a time here will be a memory to keep. Thank you, Woo Woo!

How many guest can they accommodate on 1 reservation?

Unsure, but the place is surprisingly big and they do have several long tables. Additionally, you can rent out the whole place if you wanted!

The view is gorgeous and sweeping. The service is attentive and professional. The drinks are sophisticated. I ended up here because I saw a video about their gin and tonic. Sounds simple, but it's one of my favorite drinks, and I'm always looking for someone who can do it well. I ordered their "dear G&T" and it was a fruity, complex riff on my old favorite. I also got the foreign forage, "a bourbon smash with a mint zing." It was also a delicious take on a classic. They have several types of cocktails, all broken down by spirit and flavor profile. They also offer a lot of spirits made in New York State. They have cocktails with earthy notes, fruity notes, fancy martinis, and a section boasting limited edition and special spirits, if you're "feeling fancy" and wanna cough up 35 bucks instead of 20 or 25! They have a bar snacks menu (sliders, nuts, and the like). I had their thick cut fries and they were light, seasoned, and tasty. I couldn't stop eating them. Midtown or not, I highly recommend this spot, which also has a couple other locations, including Gramercy.

It IS a small bar, but there were only about 4-5 folks here already, engrossed in a conversation at the bar that anyone could join. I quietly took a seat at one of the 3 tables on the plush high-top bench and the lone, friendly bartendress was immediately attentive (I was greeted the moment I stepped through the door!). Now, there's no ACTUAL liquor here, ONLY the beer and wine on the small menu, so don't try asking her to whip you up something not on the menu. Luckily for me, there was a fruity sangria special, so I opted for that, served with a decorative shark adornment and a metal straw, and was immediately given a little bucket of popcorn to accompany it. Now, this is part of the reason why I wanted to check this place out. Fresh popcorn is my weakness. Bars that give free snacks with drinks are top tier in my book. You could probably lure me into the back of a white van with a signature red and white filled popcorn bucket. So I sat, and I sipped, and I munched, and I listened to the conversation from the others, and the bartendress, god bless her, would check on my bucket and refill it any time it got low. Now I'm really a mixed drink girly, but the vibes were SO cool here that I would most definitely come back. :D Also note, there's cool little padded seating by the window that I noticed that would be great for people-watching outside.
