It is also a fantastic spot to work if you wanna have a café setting because their pastries and bake goods are absolutely fantastic. In fact last year for Christmas, we bought one of their Christmas cake options which proved to be super popular with the family. What I love about this location is the decor. On one side it is a simple industrial warehouse. But it has that post modern feel with all of the live plants. The live plants is what I love and the tall ceiling for the plants to fully grow. Though if they are looking for something else, which could really bring this to the top, it would be to have a fish tank. A fish and or water feature around the massive plant island in the middle of the dinning area would be chefs kiss. Of course, what about the food? From here, I find the food here is excellent. Sometimes the flavour combinations are a little weird. But that's typical for the Vancouver foodie scene. Vancouver food scene is a fusion hybrid of local ingredients mixed with traditions from cultures from other places around the world. But the bottom line is the portions are a good size. The platters in particular are large and would feed a very hungry person. You definitely get your moneys worth. You don't get much table service once you are done with your order. But that is all right because of it size and volume for the amount of people who come through. I am totally happy with the self serve station, which could be enhanced and the large setting with all of the very mature plants. If I would offer advice to anyone it would be this. If you are going to be there on the weekend arrive before 9 AM. People start lining up at 10 to 15 minutes before the store officially opens. Plus I find is easier to take the street parking rather than playing with Faith trying to back out with customers who are not paying attention.

We didn't mind a bit waiting for our specialty lattes but the flavors were underwhelming. Snow Velvet Latte $6.20 Double shot espresso, regular milk, vanilla syrup, velvet cream, cocoa dusting. My iced 16 ozs dark chocolate mocha was also not a memorable one. In spite of the unsatisfying lattes and lack of GF items, I'm still fond of the energy that fills in this cafe so I'll probably return.

The flat white was maybe just a little too flat actually, but the shot of espresso had notes of oat and wood-- it was very earthy which is a great change from the usual sour stuff. They have kitschy and cute cups for water. I didn't try their food or pastries but they seem to have a good spread of choices. The only complaint I might have is that the seating was a little too tight and I felt like I was in the way of the staff. Not because of how they acted but the layout of the logistics and layout of the space. The staff were great and friendly. The interior is pretty neat. They have seats made out of parts of cars, and even the front counter is half of an old school SL. Lots of classic car parts on the walls. Staff are friendly and chatty. No problems there. The coffee selection is pretty decent. They also have cold (sweet) drinks. I had the V12 latte. They put a neat little teddy bear in the foam. Would've been cooler if they put a MB logo instead, but all good. The only complaint is that the car themed couches and regular couches are at different heights.
