If you actually decide to come here, make sure you bring your patience with you. They really take their time here if you know what I mean. Also- when I went the other night, their POS system was down so they were only taking Venmo and cash app, which I thought was super weird. The two employees working there were both very strange but the blonde one with the ponytail really seemed like she didn't want to be there. The other guy, was super slow moving and not attentive towards customers at all. This location looks terrible also. It's so bizarre because they have brand new freezers, but the whole rest of the establishment looks like crap. I won't be going back to this location. What a waste of time. read more

This is the Baskin Robbins ice cream shop in the The Vineyard Shopping Center in Concord. I had a very nice experience here. I stopped by to see what Baskin Robbins calls a "large" ice cream serving. A large serving of ice cream here is a large cup and three big scoops of your choice of ice cream. The price is just over $8.00. So without looking at the variety of flavors, I asked the young man serving me for "Chocolate, Coffee, and Vanilla." He politely went thru the variety of flavors that fell under those broad flavor choices. I ended up with "Chocolate Fudge, Coffee Shop, and Vanilla." The cashier rang up my order, and I was out the door. The ice cream had a smooth and creamy texture. A very clean flavor, with no after taste. Only negative: the messy office area behind the cashier is in full view of the customer. But I would return again if I was in the area. There's lots of free parking in the lot. read more

This is the worst Baskin Robbins in the bay area. The ice cream case that has been down for months. The store is dirty. They have very little inventory for prepacked ice cream, none of the popular flavors. I had a hand packed ice cream made up last week for my sons birthday and it's icy. Tastes old and we threw it away. I also sent an email into the owner no reply. Avoid this location if you want fresh ice cream. read more

I wouldn't be surprised if this place gets closed soon. This place is HORRIBLE. It smells like human and animal feces. I don't even know why I proceeded to get my order. Not to mention the lady with the glasses answered her phone while scooping ice cream. When I was in there the two associates, one being the manager were super rude to the older man who was trying to pick up his cake. I believe they messed up his order and said they could have his cake ready by the next day. The customer said "WELL MY GRANDSONS BIRTHDAY IS TONIGHT SO WHAT HELP DOES THAT HELP ME" seriously, he needs a cake tonight and y'all wanna offer him one for tomorrow? Not going to lie, when I go to my eye doctor next door, I usually will swing by here and get something. I'm a fan of B&R but don't go too often because I don't want to weight 300 pounds but yeah, I love the chocolate chocolately ice creams they have. My kid loves the flavors at BR however I can't bring him here again after seeing how dirty it is on the inside. Young staff is nice but wow it's nasty in here. The front off is directly behind the register with papers etc and they were sitting the waffle cones right next to this working area. They play with scoop sizes here... I brought in my own banana to add to a three scoop. Then another employee comes over and says going to charge for banana split. I'm a little confused why this lady came over to join the conversation, but whatever! I say...I only asked for 3 scoops. I then get a lecture on must charge me for banana split because the guy gave me 5oz scoops and other option would have been 3ozs. REALLY...was dumb-founded on the whole crappy discussion. They are skimping on their scoops. 8oz cups are now 6.5 ounces. When you pay 23 dollars for 3 2 scoop cups something is wrong. Better traning is needed or maybe new ownership. You should get what you pay for. This is many times over. Been a patron for a long time. But it's getting out of hand. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Every time I've come, it's a bad experience. The young staff has zero customer service etiquette. They can't even greet you and say a simple "Can I help you" 3 employees and only one barely even wants to do the work they get paid for. Always a great time coming here. BR ice cream is always of the highest quality and flavor. It's hard to beat. Their prices do seem to slowly increase over time, and because we only come here about 3 or 4 times a year, I just notice little jumps here and there. But it's hard to make that a reason not to come here since any ice cream from Cold Stones is more expensive (and the nearest Cold Stones is about 15-20 mins away). The other reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is they only sometimes have my favorite flavor, chocolate fudge. It's frustrating because to me, this should be a staple flavor, but it's a toss up whether or not they have it. I will say visiting here is always easy because it's a huge parking lot and conveniently located off Clayton Road in a large shopping center. So there's no stress (another upside to the Cold Stones which definitely has more difficult parking). Staff is also helpful and friendly! Hoping to make more trips here throughout the summer for some refreshing ice cream! read more

There was dog poop on the floor and it stunk HORRIBLY. Told the clerk. Got a response of surprise. THREE employees and not a single one did anything. My grandkids and I were the only customers . I stopped in to get a polar pizza to take home but there were none in the freezer at all. So i ordered a brownie sundae and double scoop of wild and reckless. They put them in the bag for me and when I got home and opened them up there was no hot fudge on the sundae. The most basic part of making a sundae must be too hard. Went here for the first time in years a few days ago. Quite hot, and ice cream seemed like just the thing. I had a scoop of the dolce de leche and it was delicious, hit the spot. My wife went all in with the two scoop warm cookie sundae and found it good as well. Service was friendly and efficient, none of the problems remarked on in some reviews. One item of note: there are only two tables for indoor seating. When it's 100° outside, like it was the other day, this can be an issue! read more

My first time in this location on Clayton to order a large Ube Coconut milkshake and the female employee gave me the wrong size. This occurred about 30 minutes ago. I was given the shake by the female employee and stepped to the male cashier. He asked me if I wanted to pay for my medium shake as I placed my card in the reader. I said that I ordered a large and he corrected me by saying that this is a medium. He in turn asked the female who made it and she said it was a large. They briefly said something to each other before he finally confirmed that it was medium and if I wanted to pay for it. I said no and promptly exited the closest door out. I wasn't going to wait for a second or correct large shake so I left. I won't be visiting this location again. read more

The man who I assume is the owner/manager is friendly as are most of the young people who work here. Prices seem higher than some other Baskin-Robbins stores. Recently, on a very hot day, I was craving a root beer float. Could not believe the price. Small root beer float was $5.85 -- for one scoop of ice cream and can of root beer. I have been wanting to write this review for awhile and hoping things would change - they haven't so maybe this will get the attention of the owners. Family of 8 and make our way for a weekly ice cream treat. Reason for the 2 stars- Consistently out of scoop flavors - talking about common flavors like mint chip, Golden Medal Ribbon , Choc Moose Royal... then directed to get a quart of they are out. Getting the quarts out of the case is also a crap shoot - either out of the flavor or the ice cream will be soft. I hope things change soon otherwise will go with the other local dessert businesses. When I went I ordered 3 things, my daughter got a unicorn scoop, I got my partner a scoop, and I got a banana royal. My daughter had a gift card and she wanted to pay, so I pulled the card off of the attached card board and pulled the sticky stuff off in preparation to pay. The workers there saw me do this. I was rang up and I slide the card. The guy helping me asked for the card and proceeded to flip the card front to back and ask the lady there if the card was fine. She said yes. Is this common or is this shopping while black? I've worked retail, specifically loss prevention management for over 20 years now and I have yet to have a store tell me someone has paid with a store specific fraudulent gift card for a purchase under $20. read more

Talk about amazing customer service! The two girls working tonight were the most kind and wonderful people I've ever had help me! I wasn't able to catch their names, but they were working at 9 tonight and were very friendly! They were quick on service, very personable and talked with me while getting my ice cream and made the whole experience feel more like catching up with friends than ordering ice cream! If their manager is looking at this, they deserve a raise and whatever medals Baskin-Robbins hands out to their workers who go above and beyond!
