This place finally opened up and I was a bit excited to eat at a cold stone again. I placed my order online for pickup, hoping it would be easy. Sad to say, it was not. First off, the inside is a bit small, with only a few tables inside for seating. I went when it was a little bit packed in the afternoon, so it was a bit cramped inside. When I went to the register to pick up my order, they couldn't locate it. I heard one of the workers say to the cashier to check if the location was correct, so I immediately checked my order and I showed them the West Leland address. They still couldn't find my order. The cashier apologized and remade my order for me. I did overhear that one of the workers said they made my exact order and gave it to some random person. I also heard another cashier say someone may have just walked up and got a free order. But enough about that, now on the ice cream itself. SBM sorbet and Raspberry sorbet: The flavors were a bit more subtle then I expected. I was hoping for something more tart, like in sherbet. But still, it was still cold and refreshing and the sprinkles were there mainly for texture. The waffle bowl was delicious and made eating the entire ice cream enjoyable. I really love this little neighborhood ice cream shop. It's perfect for our small shopping center although it is extremely tight when there is a line. My wife and I decided on a quick impromptu ice cream date at Cold Stone. The young workers were friendly, which is why I gave an extra star. On my first visit, the staff seemed pretty clueless, but since they had just opened, I decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, the second visit wasn't much better. The waffle cone was stale, and one of the workers even admitted they knew the cones were stale but nothing was done. When I asked for a refund (the ice cream was barely touched), the young staff didn't know how to process it. They ended up calling Omar the manager/owner, and instead of making it right, he made it difficult asking them to send pictures of the ice cream and stale cone just to approve the refund. After two tries, it's clear the customer experience needs work. No one should have to fight for a simple refund when the product isn't fresh. Don't think we'll be back which is unfortunate since we were so excited to have it open near our house. read more

Pleased to welcome the new Cold Stone Creamery to the neighborhood! One of the first few shops to open in the brand new Sprouts shopping center in San Marco West Pittsburg. My family and I have been patiently waiting and were delighted to patronize this new establishment. The store was bustling with customers, and the owner and staff were providing 5-star service with a smile! And the $7 baby ice cream was dee-licious! I'm not big on Cold Stone, it's too bourgeois for me, I'm a Thrifty's kid! But the brownie was b0mb-diggity! And if they keep sending me $5 off coupons, I will have to keep coming back. Had to knock 1-star for the tiny and cramped space-there's little place to stand and no place to sit inside and enjoy, and that's not the business! I went in last week like usual, ordering my Love it size of the chocolate devotion. The girl who served me, I think her name was Kelani. SHE HAD SUCH A NASTY ATTITUDE. When I asked for extra chocolate chips, she rudely rolled her eyes. Her response was "Fine" with a sigh. I know it is extra chocolate chips since I come here pretty often. Then, when she rang me up, she was on her phone, not paying attention. If I knew this young lady was working, I would spend my time and went baskin robins. I ordered an Everybody's size. The kids there are not trained properly! The girl did not add the correct amount of add ins (one scoop of sprinkles and a small portion of fudge.) and after she was done the container was not even close to being full.
