These $5 Friday sales I think are a marketing scam. You get these advertised prices for things almost nobody can buy unless you are a retiree with nothing better to do that go shopping on a Friday morning when everybody else is headed to work. The $5 bakery item sold out - but the fried chicken - lots there. I just got some beer and snack stuff. Store is clean and good looking. Near bart for whatever that is worth.

You think you are saving money buy purchasing meat and produce here at what seems like discounted pricing but in reality you're really losing money bc more times than not the meat is old an on its last day. Needles to mention that multiple times I've had to throw away both cheese purchase from the "carnicería" and pan dulce bc it tastes like the fabuloso got into it. I hate to complaint, but after this happened a few times I had to tell the meat department and the owner and nothing happened to correct the issue. I continued to purchase my usual products and kept getting queso fresco that tasted like how fabuloso (cleaning product) smells. A perfume taste. At first I thought someone accidentally took a cleaning rag that was drenched in "Fabuloso" and must have placed it on or very close to the cheese you buy per pound but when it keeps happening it's concerning as it's highly toxic. This later happened with their pan dulce from the bakery. Sad we will have to go to the other store now.
