My grandma and I love this panadería! The remodel is beautiful--it looks like a brand new place, and the new restaurant space in the back is such a great addition. The treats are always fresh and tasty, and the prices are super fair. So happy they're back!

Pan Dulce!

2 bags worth of pan dulce for $10.50? Cmon now. What a deal! Everything is fresh and soft! I can only imagine what it's like first thing in the morning! Definitely coming back.

New addition to the bakery. They are open 6am.

Oreja

Let me say this, I am not from here. I came across this bakery by being in the area conducting business. I wanted something to eat and went on yelp to find something in the area. I saw the reviews and decided to try it out. My favorite pan dulce are the orejas. I am from San Diego and having Tijuana practically in my backyard, I don't need to be writing this long review but I did because I got familiar taste to my buds from when I was traveling in Mexico and was in Puebla. Although this is a bakery from Jalisco, they know what they are doing. My first bite into this beautiful Pastry, I said to myself, "A, La, Verrga" 5 STARS. I hope all negative reviews are reevaluated with the fact that quality in a craftsmanship goes a long way and not everyone deserves this majestic treat. My family is from Jalisco and I am sure they would approve. Muchas Gracias

Various pan Dulce items

Wow! The best pan Dulce in our area. All items are super fresh, fully stocked, tons of choices and the quality is outstanding. The prices are very affordable and they are all so good that I can't just pick one of my favorites because they are ALL so good.

It's been difficult adjusting to life now that I'm not 10 minutes away from my favorite panaderia. I used to go here weekly and now that I'm about a 40 minute drive away I'm always trying to make a detour when I'm out that way. I've yet to find one just as good or with the same wide variety of goodies. Everything else I've had is always so dry or lacking in the flavor and freshness they provide. And they are ALWAYS pumping it out fresh! Those ovens are running non stop and they are turning out the most beautiful and tasty treats until the sun sets! It's always been such a warm and friendly experience too. I really miss this place and the personable gals working. I just want my giant bags of all my favorites and I hope I can find something even half as good as they are ALWAYS ALWAYS providing. Consistently amazing and fresh! Even in pandemic times I always felt there were a ton of options.

I get cravings for pecan pies, especially during the holidays, but sometimes I just want a few…read morebites, so pecan tartlets easily fill the bill, and the pecan tartlet at Guilty Pleasures did just that! I came across this pop-up at Epidemic Ales, though you can easily place an order with them on-line for any occasion. My pecan tart was fresh with a flaky shell. For me, the shell of a small tart makes up half of the tart, so it was a plus that it was super duper fresh. The filling was made up equally of fresh nuts but did have a rather prominent taste of alcohol. Some pecan pies contain a bit of alcohol like rum or bourbon. I went on their homepage, and it looks like they also make a Maple Bourbon Pecan Pie. I'm assuming that the tart I got may have been a mini version of that. If you're averse to alcohol in your food, keep this in mind, at least when it comes to their pecan tartlets. Guilty Pleasures makes cupcakes, cakes, pies, cookies and other nicely presented baked goods as well. I spied pre-packaged mixes of mini treats that can be purchased as a nice hostess gift that contained macarons, meringues, and what looked like small pumpkin tarts. I definitely enjoy my sweet treats, but with Guilty Pleasures, it's nice to know that with the smaller bites of desserts I can have them all, minus the guilt...sort of.
