they said it closes at 5 but they always close early. Your best bet is to get there before 4:30. They've done this before.

Walked in with my 5 year old daughter and stood at the counter for a while, looking at the menu, waiting for someone to ask what we wanted. The two workers that were there said nothing, even though both of them were right in front of the counter. No one greeted us or said anything the entire time. The only time they said anything was when I looked at the staff person again that would make the sandwiches.. to attempt to initiate the order before I could do that she said "you tell her what you want , if you want to order." So the short girl at the register took the order, not friendly at all. Then I asked if the kids meal came with a drink, she said no and offered nothing. I didn't know till after the purchase so I grabbed a water to purchase, but the short girl had walked away already and was sweeping the floor, never acknowledged me again. So the other worker rung me up for the water. But the short register girl kept looking at me when we sat down at the table. It was odd to get stared down and dirty looks for sitting down to eat, something we purchased. They said nothing as we were leaving and the short girl just stared as I was leaving. Never experienced so many dirty looks from a business establishment ever. I'd been here one other time and the service wasn't stellar but no where near what we experienced today. As an incredibly picky (think toddler-like, not picky like a refined palate) vegetarian, it can be hard for me to find a good sammich spot. Most of the time, I watch with envy as my friends chomp down their delectable deli delights. But no longer. I've found Nick's Sandwiches and the Green Goddess sandwich and I've found out there are sandwiches made for me. This Green Queen is complete with pesto, avocado, cucumber, tomato, "Stinky Sauce" (I really would appreciate them not using that terminology but it tastes so good that I don't even care), red onion, and lettuce. (Obviously, I'm too picky for red onion and that's getting nixed.) It's served on a Dutch crunch roll but you can switch up the bread if you like. I don't suggest you do, but it's an option. It's a somewhat-messy, delicious, amazing sandwich that I highly recommend for both veg-lovers and those who didn't even know they could be veg-lovers. Go get on that green, y'all. read more

I decided to try the green goddess with chicken after reading all the reviews even though they were 2-3 yrs old and my husband had the rodeo. I was trying to place an order over the phone as I needed to go downtown and wanted it ready and they did not answer their phone. My own pet peeve is calling a business and they don't answer their phone during business hours. I had to spend a bit of time trying to find their menu. The menu was on Yelp however very outdated. Pricing showed sandwiches at $8.50 - $9.00 a sandwich. Sandwiches are anywhere from $12.00 - $13.00. Spending 28.00 for 2 sandwiches is a bit much. The sandwiches are definitely big but just pricey. The person the was taking orders never acknowledged it the line but at the same time she wasn't paying any attention to the person that was indecisive of their order because she was busy having a personal conversation.
