I politely asked if I could switch to a different drink, but was told no because of the store's policy. While I understand that policies exist, I later called the customer service number listed on their social media to confirm that this was indeed their policy. Instead of addressing my question, the person I spoke with seemed more concerned about asking, "How did you get this phone number?" That interaction felt unprofessional and dismissive. My second visit wasn't much better. My friend and I walked in, and the cashier didn't greet us or acknowledge that she'd be with us shortly. She was making another drink, looked over at us, then looked away, and we waited about five minutes without any acknowledgment. When the customer she was helping came up to pick up their drink, she took the time to have a brief conversation with them while we continued waiting to order. When she finally came over, there was no apology for the wait or even a simple "Hi, how are you?"--just, "What can I get you?" The coffee may be good, but customer service plays a big role in the overall experience. Based on my two visits, I think there's a lot of room for improvement in how customers are welcomed and treated. Unfortunately, these interactions have made me hesitant to return.

Recently went here with my girlfriend and it was such a splendid experience. As soon as you walk in you could tell that everything they make here is fresh and natural. The prices are cheap and very affordable, therefore I did not have to think of not having enough money. You can tell it's homemade which makes it even better. Owner is always so friendly! This spot is very close to home so we definitely plan on being regulars here. Starbread is the place for warm, fresh, comfort treats imo…read more I have been getting senorita bread from Starbread for ages, from multiple locations and they always hit. This location is convenient and quick. Starbread is take out so don't expect tables because you need to head out and eat those babies while they're fresh (although a quick zap in the microwave will have them just as tasty). The workers are always friendly and helpful if you aren't sure how much to bring for a gathering. They also serve hot dog and spam buns, empanadas, etc. Everything that I've tried has been good.
