We are beyond satisfied with Porsche's beautiful work! Communication was so easy and quick via email. online payment is so convenient . With the stress and hard work of planning a party a free delivery in the Pittsburgh/ antioch area is perfect ! Kr Kakes was able to capture my vision in colors and even the size of the horn I specifically asked for. The girly eyelashes with so much shine and glitter are fabulous! The flavor of the cake was a hit! 8 inch Confetti cake with strawberry buttercream filling. Thankful I found Porsche !

Porsche baked this amazing cake for my boyfriends 30th birthday party that was casino themed! She slayed it! Not only did it look cool it was delicious! I mean a week later when I ate it it still was amazing! My first tier was fresh strawberries with butter cream white cake. The second tier was lemon cake with lemon filling She came early to set the cake up and was very professional and punctual. This is my new go to for cakes and treats. She is amazing.

Porsche made an amazing GAME OF THRONES cake for our housewarming party and my husband's birthday. Look at her detail in the THRONE!!!! She did an interior flavor of RED VELVET, which was very moist; not dry at all!!!! This cake blew up on social media and is her "Winter is coming" cake, if you would like to order one for your next event.

I cannot say anything but good things about KRKakes!!! From the 1st message to the deliveey of the cake Porsche was so awesome. I am such a procrastinator at everything and silly me, my daughters 1st birthday was coming up and i figured I'd save money and just but a cake from safeway or costco. I felt bad for thinking the was I was going for her cake, she deserves the best, so so at the last minute, literally 6 days before her party, I started searching on yelp for bakeries around our area. We just moved year about 10months ago so I haven't found any good bakeries. I searched and search all these bakeries were closed on Mondays and request a 2 week advance notice, I was getting scared. Then I came up on KRKakes, 5 STARS, why wouldn't i try, plus they had a message board on yelp. I got excited, then saw they were closed Mondays tooo, but i messaged them anyway and Porsche messaged me so quick AND accommodated when and how I wanted my cake. She did such an awesome job with the unicorn birthday cake for my daughters 1st birthday I just couldn't be more happy. Annnnd not only was the cake beautiful to look at it was THE BEST cake I've EVER had, no lie. This cake was soooo yummmy, it was moist and the flavors were just delicious. I cannot thank Porsche, KRKAKES, enough. It was even more awesome that she delivered the cake to my home as well, which helped with me having to drive and pick it up. Thank you KRKAKES!! You will be my forever go to place for all my dessert needs!!!!

She explained that it's a fondant cake & explained what that is since I am a novice to cakes. She worked with me and kept me updated throughout the process!! She helped make this special day for me perfect with the cake I had in mind. The cake itself not only came out perfect but it was delicious, moist and simple, yet mouthwatering with the buttercream filling, just like I had wanted. 3 reasons why you should choose KRKAKES for your baked needs! 1. Porsche does an amazing decorating job and her work is beautiful! 2. Her cakes are delicious/mouth watering! (You better grab a piece before it's all gone and people go for seconds!) 3. Great, affordable prices compared to local competition for what you get! I have a big growing family and we are always in need of cakes! I've sourced cakes from other bakeries but their prices are either outrageous or if not I've never been satisfied with the end product like i am with KRKakes! Once I ordered a cake and noticed how much our guests not only love the look of it, but even LOVE the taste more I knew KRKAKES would be making all our bake needs from that point on. I've ordered the chocolate, vanilla, and lemon flavors before and they were all literally mouth watering from the actual cake to the filling, buttercream and even the fondant (and here I thought I wasn't a fan of fondant). I'm telling you TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. You will not be dissapointed. All the cakes I've ordered are for 30 people and everyone always gets a piece! When special occasions come up and I need a cake I usually have my go to baker in SF, but throwing my friend a baby shower in Antioch It was far and I had to find someone to make her a cake out in contra Costa county. I stumbled upon kr kakes on Yelp and was a bit nervous once I decided to go through with my order (for the fact that I never ordered with them before) I am picky and when I gave Porscha (the cake maker) what I wanted my cake to look like she executed it to the T!!! History

Established in 2011.

In 2011, Chef Porsche Hardin created and developed KRKaKes as a self-taught baker, and certified by the "Wilton Method Courses." In 2017, she received her culinary degree in Baking & Pastry from Diablo Valley College. By 2019, she pursued and achieved a BS in Hospitality Management from Cal State East Bay University. Also, to gain more industry knowledge, she interned with Attraversiamo, located in Brentwood, California, as their Pastry Chef. As a chef and entrepreneur, my goal is to meet my customers' expectations and provide quality desserts. I take pride in creating desserts from scratch and with an abundance of love and passion. KRKakes desserts should bring smiles to our clients' faces, as well as gratification from our service. Ultimately, 'Dessert Hour' is the grand finale for every event, and KRKakes wants to help create that whimsical, elegant, and magical moment.

In the past, water was available in small jars, but now it's set up in a larger dispenser. After ordering ice cream, we went to grab some water, but it had run out. I let the staff member in front know, and she kindly explained that they were out, which I completely understood. However, another staff member suddenly commented that there was no water and that if I wanted some, I should buy and pay for it. It was a bit surprising--not because of the policy, but because of the tone, which came across as a bit harsh. Maybe she was just having a bad day, which I can understand, but the delivery didn't feel very welcoming. I want to emphasize that I have no issue paying for water at all; in fact, I planned to go back to the car after ice cream to get water since we parked nearby. It was just the way it was said that didn't sit well. I didn't say anything at the moment since I understand everyone can have off days, but I do think consistency in how customers are spoken to is important--others might not take that tone as lightly. When I sat down, another staff member came over and offered my family water. If you happen to read this--thank you. Your kindness really meant a lot to us. Overall, we still enjoy coming here for the great ice cream, generous portions, and the cozy atmosphere. It's a small but gorgeous tearoom that seats about 26ish people total. We opted for their cream tea option which is a personal pot of tea and 2 scones per person. My spouse is a pretty picky so unfortunately they dislike most tea sandwiches but loves scones so it's the perfect option for us. We also grabbed a couple counter desserts to try. My spouse got the blueberry darjeeling and I got the rose chai. Both were delicious but we liked the blueberry better if we had to pick one. We got a strawberry eclaire and a duck egg creme brulee as our counter desserts. The creme brulee was to die for and we found out that duck eggs were from the owners personal ducks do they agree as fresh and healthy as you can get knowing exactly what the ducks are fed. They had actually run out of scones when we got there and were very apologetic and transparent on the bake time needed. They offered to remove the scones from our bill if we didn't want to wait but we gladly waited and enjoyed our desserts first. The scones came out maybe 5 minutes after we finished the desserts and they checked in with us again. They were fresh out of the oven and served with faux Devonshire cream and a housemade cherry compote from local cherries. They were well worth the wait. If I had any suggestions it would be to make a reservation option for cream tea on their website as I totally would have made a reservation but it only had the option for afternoon tea reservations.

One for my sister's 25th and the other for my mother's 50th. I was nothing but satisfied and both birthday girls were amazed! I could tell she listened to everything I stated I'd like on the cake, made professional suggestions and came out with beautiful art! I love how moist and fresh the cakes were.
