Kale & Shredded Brussels Sprouts Salad
Matt J.

I'm rounding down to three stars because of uneven service and the price point of a solid salad without a main protein. It took five or so minutes for anyone to greet us at the host stand, and although our waiter was exceedingly personable, he disappeared for stretches when we were looking for a takeout box and the bill. Once seated, the charm of the restaurant took over, despite being indoors without a direct waterfront view. The relaxed energy of the space is palpable, an ideal atmosphere for a Bay Area afternoon that's warm enough to be outdoors. The Kale and Brussels Sprouts Salad was very tasty, but without a significant protein to make it a meal, the price tag of over $15 felt steep. A heavier hand with the pecorino would help but it's still primarily greenery, albeit well dressed greenery. I enjoyed my salad, but I won't put it high in the rotation given more complete entree salads at the same price extremely nearby. Even though the cons may outweigh the pros for more frequent visits, the pros justify many a group hang when the weather cooperates.

The pizza was so good! I loved the pepperoni pieces in it, had a bit of sweetness to them. The cod balls were good too but the cod flavor was super subtle, still liked them tho. I really liked the lasagna as well.

A first time for this restaurant, let's see how it went: Parking is great The inside is modestly lit , which works well with the atmosphere that they are trying to create; coinciding with the outside seating views as well. The service was ok and friendly, they got the orders correct. The food was good, but could have been a tad bit more flavorful. All in all, a great place to relax and eat.

The view from our table at Bar Bocce.

We had a great time dining at Bar Bocce! The view of the water is simply unmatched and we enjoyed our food and cocktails. The service was a little shaky, but overall we greatly enjoyed our evening! Food & Drink: We joined the waitlist when we arrived, and got some drinks while we waited in the bar. We really liked our cocktails, with the Margarita and Aperol Spritz being two highlights. Once seated, we ordered the Shishito Peppers, Pear Pizza, and Olive Pizza. The peppers were nicely cooked and salted, and they paired well with our drinks. The pear pizza was surprisingly delicious with gorgonzola, nuts, and some leaves. The olive pizza was also good with its' greek inspired toppings of feta cheese, olives, and red peppers. For dessert we tried the affogato and Bocce dessert, which were both good. Though my affogato had mostly melted on arrival. Service & Ambiance: The only issue we encountered was the service. Our evening got off to a slightly bumpy start because the waitlist notification was sent to my phone's spam folder, meaning I wasn't notified and we almost missed our opportunity to be seated. For this reason, it would be good if staff could check the bar before removing customers from the waitlist (I told them that we would be waiting in the bar, which is a short distance from the host desk). Another issue was that the pizzas took a long time to come out. Fortunately, management made it up to us by giving us a free salad and free meatballs. This was a classy gesture and definitely helped! (Hopefully this was just a one-off situation). Finally, I was surprised by the amount of kids at this establishment. Considering this is prominently marketed as a bar, there was quite a lot of unruly children running (and climbing) about, which did affect the ambiance somewhat. Management may want to consider whether allowing children is worth it, as they somewhat spoil the lovely waterside ambiance. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would come again!

This restaurant is in the heart of Sausalito. It's right next to another local favorite of ours. This was our first visit, so we weren't sure what to expect. We arrived in Sausalito then parked two blocks away in the neighborhood. We do this to get a little more walking in plus the parking is not metered. We were greeted right away, but it was a little bit of a wait. Things looked great with the tables and vibe. Once seated, we ordered a few drinks and small plates. The views were amazing! Apparently pizza is popular and we didn't order it. We were happy with our food selection, but definitely want to try the pizza another time.

Stopped by after a hike and bf the brunch rush on a Sunday morning. Vibe -Sat outside along the water which was nice. Casual seating area and tables available. Fire pits. Kids and dogs welcome. Drinks- full bar and lots of fun cocktails. Good selection of mocktails too. Food- we got chips. Brussels sprouts. Calamari. And artichokes. All were pretty standard appetizers. Service- everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful.

Haven't been here in many years, and it didn't disappoint! We were lucky enough to get seats at the top for drinks and then moved to a table when available. The views and atmosphere are great, and the pizza and sangria were delicious too.

Zucchini pizza

This might be my favorite pizza spot in the Bay Area to date! I ordered the Zucchini pizza and my boyfriend ordered the Sausage pizza, and we loved both. The crust was slightly crisp on the outside but incredibly fluffy on the inside, and the topping combinations were a good balance of generic and adventurous. I would give the pizza a 5/5, but unfortunately we didn't love the fried artichoke appetizer, nor our wine selections. The artichokes were a little too thick, so despite being fried, they didn't feel crispy, and I felt the artichokes were too bitter to be paired with a lemon aioli. We were also excited to try some local wines, but they lacked flavor / complexity. We did however enjoy sitting outside on the patio and the service was pretty good (our waiter was prompt when we needed but also let us be when we just wanted to hang out for a bit). The space is not overly big though, and it's first come first serve, so I'd recommend getting there early!

Heirloom Tomato, Meatball & Burrata, Pork Sausage, Pesto Chicken.

TLDR; Pizza was meh, service was meh, super average place. My pizzas (chicken pesto and meatball) was wet and soggy especially in the center. My friends (Heirloom and sausage) had a great experience. The dough may be determined by the toppings you get. As for service we asked for water 3 times before being able to get some. Dude was super nice about it but it was still 30 minutes without it after being asked several times. Just overall a meh experience ‍. Definitely not worth the prices that's for sure

Savoy Spinach Caesar: parmesan crisps ($15)

Date: Thursday, May 1st, 2025 Time: 6pm Meal: Dinner *Spicy Prawns: red chili, garlic, lemon ($15) *Savoy Spinach Caesar: parmesan crisps ($15) *Scharffenberger: Brut Sparkling Wine, Mendocino, CA NV ($18 glass) *Cabernet Sauvignon: Sterling, Napa Valley , CA 2022 ($15 glass) I was here for a company dinner. We have a huge table set up outside with a view of the water. Very pretty. Tho I do wish they had shade as I was covering my face with a menu for half the meal. Onec the sun moved tho, it was fine. They also have a really pretty fire pit we were able to use at the end of the night. Food wise, everything was meh. The spicy prawns weren't particularly spicy and kind of sweet. Not really my thing. I figured there would be more heat for a dish with the word spice in the name. The salad was good tho. Very simple which is what I like. Tho at $15, it was pretty small. This is definitely a pre meal salad and a not a main. We had a little happy hour of sorts before we started our meal, so I ordered a glass of champagne / sparkling wine. brut to be specific. Mot sure what they gave me, but I'm gonna assume the one above since it seems the closest to what I said. A pretty place to have drinks and apps. Especially if you can grab a spot by the fire at night. REVIEW #3763

Tomato Soup of the Day
Tannu S.

Quick service, excellent food, and cozy, casual vibes. You can enjoy beautiful bay views with your meal or drinks. There's both indoor seating and outdoor seating in a courtyard with a fire pit, which adds to the cozy atmosphere. Everything we ordered was exceptional--we even reordered the eggplant fingers because my 5-year-old loved them so much. The soup was warm and hearty, and I'd go back just to have that again. The pizza crust was exactly how I like it, and while both pizzas were good, the kale pizza was my favorite.

She was super accommodating and attentive without being overbearing. Once we told her what we liked, she immediately knew what to recommend and guided us through the menu perfectly. You can tell she knows her stuff. We came specifically for happy hour (we're definitely HH aficionados) and made it our mission to try everything on the menu. While the chips & dip were good, they're something you can find elsewhere, so not necessarily a standout. Everything else, though? OUTSTANDING! The hummus, whipped feta, and muhamarra were next-level--easily some of the best we've had. The CN burger sliders were also a hit--we had one each and they were so yummy that next time my husband is already planning on getting two. The drinks were on point. The espresso martinis absolutely fueled our afternoon in the best way, and we also tried the creamsicle cocktail and the shrimp Za'atar from the regular menu--both were super delicious in their own way. The ambiance was great, and the bartender was clearly on top of things, which always adds to the overall vibe. One thing worth noting: happy hour is now only offered Monday-Thursday, but Sydney was kind enough to honor it for us on Saturday since the website hadn't been updated yet. That level of service really sealed the deal for us. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish--great food, great drinks, and even better service. Easy five stars.

We're big fans of visiting hotel bars when we travel because they consistently deliver great experiences. This is probably one of the first times we've ever gone to a hotel bar as locals. When we showed up at 4:30 p.m., the bar was completely empty. It wasn't until about 5:30 p.m., when we were leaving, that it really started to fill up. Little did we know, we had actually stopped by right in the middle of Happy Hour, which runs from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Unlike your typical Happy Hour with a limited menu of food and drinks, the menu here is extensive. The entire cocktail list--normally priced around $16 each--is half off. I haven't seen anything like this anywhere in the Bay. People on social media love to use the term "hidden gem" to describe places that are anything but, but Carlotta's is truly a hidden gem. You do not want to sleep on this Happy Hour. The bartender here couldn't have been more fun to chat with, and for the price and quality, the drinks cannot be beat. Can't wait to stop by again.
