Sooo soo so Good! It's that simple! We were going to the place across the way for Bison burgers.. they was closed! We were very hungry, good thing I had already checked the menu at Balcony One... they did not have Buffalo burgers but they did serve up some delicious food . It's a nice restaurant w beautiful ambiance/ decor. I mistakenly deleted some of my pics . The girls were awesome, knowledgeable and recommended their picks off the menu. The menu isn't huge but it's enough not to get you turned and twisted. Wish we had room for dessert, plenty of food, at least I thought so. Quality and delicious. I really try to avoid posting bad reviews, so I'll make this brief. My wife and I dined here last evening. Cocktails were sad and overpriced considering. Food was meh at best. I had a pork chop which lacked flavor, and it came with Brussel sprouts, that were prepared with maple syrup, which totally killed the flavor of the sprouts. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. The Baklava was AWESOME. The menu is different, with inspirations from steakhouse to Mexican to Greek. We stopped at this place once about three years ago during Covid because it had great reviews. So we decided to stop again while visiting Springdale,Utah, and hiking Zion National Park. They have great seating inside in the dining room or sunroom or the bar but they also have a huge outside patio with live music in the evenings. They also have brand new misters when it is super hot out, which was great when we sat outside. They open at 3 PM most days so we stopped at about 3:30 PM to have some food and drinks. The hostess was super nice as she was on the phone when I called before driving there. I don't remember her name. Our server was Liz and she was so sweet and awesome and kept checking on us. We decided to have the beef carpaccio appetizer, which was really delicious with a touch of sea salt on it. We then decided to split their barbecue ribs that have a unique barbecue sauce with jalapeño but not too spicy. We came to Zion for a weekend trip and ended up coming here two nights in a row. Absolutely amazing. First night we both enjoyed the French onion soup (wow on taste AND presentation). I ordered the ceviche tostada, ahi tuna taco, and a jalapeño margarita. Everything was delicious. We were served by Liz who was also phenomenal, attentive and gave great recommendations. Second night we both ordered the French onion soup again. I think had the tzaziki appetizer and then the smoked rib pasta. Unlike any pasta dish I've tried before and would highly recommend! Their key lime pie and baklava were also delicious (we took them to the hotel and ate them later and they were still great hours later). Lastly we met the owner on our last night. Loved chatting with him and watching him work the room making sure everyone was taken care of. We even watched him take empty dishes away and run food to tables. My boyfriend, daughter and I found this place last minute and they still managed to make us a reservation which we really appreciated after hiking today! The empanadas are made with the flakiest dough ever and were one of my favorite things we tried while eating there, which is why there's no picture-we killed them too fast. The French onion soup (pictured below) was also topped with a flaky dough that brought joyful tears to my eyes. It was full of flavor and I would order both again, easily. My daughter had penne Alfredo pasta that was rich, creamy, and garlicky (MY FAVE). She liked it and it heats up great for leftovers. We arrived late in Virgin and unfortunately had very few options. This restaurant is strange with Ben Carson novels and stuffed animals strewn about. The owner(s) standing at the door didn't bother to greet us, even just to let us know that their staff would seat us shortly. I knew it was him/them because they have a framed picture of themselves by the entrance. The service is friendly but slow even though it wasn't busy at the time, the $15 cocktails were terrible, and the food is okay at best. The menu was all over the place, like it couldn't decide if it wanted to be a Mexican, Greek, or steakhouse style restaurant. Almost everything is marked as MP which makes the pricing suspect and highly variable. I knew something was off when they brought us the inedible stale bread rolls. From there I regret not leaving. The wedge salad had been drowned in dressing that was definitely not house-made with very few pieces of bacon bits. The pappardelle pork pasta with Demi glacé sauce was tasty, but not enough to redeem this place. We've had excellent food all over Utah, but this one missed the mark. The owner, George, is a very friendly guy as well. I loved the food. I tried the pork belly starter, the filet, the pork chop, and some desserts. Everything was cooked to perfection and well presented. I highly recommend the pork belly- they paired sweet with umami in an incredible fashion. The filet was delicious as well.
