Cookie Fact: "Cookie" comes from the Dutch word "koekje," meaning "small or little cake." My leg model friend, Jason J., has been talking about this place non-stop. I think he's their biggest fan, having been to the California and Las Vegas locations. Now that they've opened in Arizona, he made sure to spread the good word of Bake the Cookie Shoppe. He's there like twice a week! Truly a great selection of offerings. I have tried the lemon sprinkle, ube sprinkle, pandan sprinkle, and the Dubai cookie and they're decent. The flavors are very delicate. As someone who enjoys all things lemon, delicate wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I want to be body slammed by lemon, not kissed gently. But for those who want hand holding and sweet whispered words, this place is for you. TL;DR: The cookies are sweet but they didn't taste like they were suppose to (i.e. ube not being ube enough). The regular cookies are $4.75 each with the Dubai cookie being $8 each. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area. You bring the cookies and I'll bring the milk. Santa wouldn't be mad with these cookies.

These cookies are not playing around. Bake the Cookie Shoppe in Tempe is bringing luxury gourmet cookies and viral Dubai chocolate desserts to Arizona with bold flavors, premium ingredients, and seriously beautiful presentation. Their cookies are thick, gooey, golden, and handcrafted in small batches, they are perfect for gifting, sharing, or treating yourself... which is exactly what I did. I tried the Ube Crinkle and Snickerdoodle cookies, and they were superb. Soft, flavorful, and totally worth the sweet treat stop. From Dubai chocolate creations to classic favorites, this spot is made for dessert lovers.

The Tempe store is the 3rd location for BAKE. BAKE started in Las Vegas and the owner seized the opportunity to expand his empire in Arizona. A casual cookie take-out spot. BAKE has some interesting takes on traditional flavors and twists on international flavors. Dubai chocolate and Ube are predominant and popular. The pandan inspired cookie was a tasty surprise. The blueberry and lemon cookies were tasty. The owner was very nice and helpful.

Amazing cookies and customer service! There's just a few chairs but the shop feels very open and spacious. They have a display of the different cookie options and there are some unique flavors. The owner let me try a few of the cookies and was SO kind! I went with the ube and Oreo cookie. The coloring is striking and the cookie was really soft and perfectly baked.

Service was decent, they were patient while wait for us first timers to decide what we wanted. The ice cream itself was okay, texture of the ice cream was a bit off if you zoom in the photo. It was a bit too sweet in my opinion, ube cookie was better. I do think it is overpriced for the experience.

Bake is my absolute favorite. I've been to the location in Riverside Ca, and both locations in Vegas, and now here in AZ and I will say that they are consistent in their product. Everything is flavorful and delicious. The cookies are sealed for freshness. Their viral Dubai chocolate cup is vital for a reason, absolutely delicious and my fav it's on the menu is the cookies and cream cup. Everyone here is always so friendly and helpful. Love the look, the ambiance is great. Check them out for yourself if you haven't already.

bland bland bland! omg so underwhelming in flavor. rude staff. like BEYOND rude. and when you try to give them that feedback as a customer this is what you get.

We arrived at 1145 and it started off with the employee walking up and greeting as she cough a flaky cough. We then were going to buy some cookies . They have been open for 45 min and they were out of 4 cookies on display. And guess what out of the mini chocolate chips and the regular ones. Chocolate chip cookies are a staple and should always be available. But was told they were out of the Oreo milkshake, blueberry muffin and 2 others but can't remember. We decided to order a Dubai strawberry bowl. She was nice enough to split it in 2 for us. It tastes very good and the strawberries were big and fresh . But not sure if it is worth $19.00 for the bowl. I wish I had been able to try a chocolate chips cookie They need to work on the production of having items ready by open each day We did get a thanks for stopping by as we left. The place is cute inside.

I've been seeing their Dubai chocolate strawberry cup all over my TikTok and had to try. It did not disappoint!! It had tons of flavor and was so good. The guy working was extremely kind and let me have some samples of cookies to try. All of them were delicious!! Definitely will be back.

Excellent new cookie shop! But they also have Dubai chocolates and cups! The presentation of the cookies are the best I've ever seen. It's like luxury packaging and boxes. You have to grab yourself some.

I ordered the Chicken and Bubble Waffle, and added an Iced Horchata Latte. It took at least a good 5-7 minutes before I got my food, it was hot and fresh. And the savory chicken with sweet waffle was perfectly balanced. This was my first time having bubble waffles, and they were yummy. They were 'churro' style and had a very light cinnamon and sugar flavor. The chicken was a really good portion, hot and crispy. And there is a side of fried crispy chicken skin, ohhhhh so salty - so good! While they maybe be considered more of a sweet shop with their churro, ice cream, and boba offerings, they have a pretty good savory food menu. The staff was super nice, and I'm definitely going to come back here!! Thank you Churro Nest and Yelp! For this experience. I rarely ever go to Tempe Marketplace, so I dont know if I would have found this place otherwise! It's located across from Forever 21, and next door to piercing shop Rowan.

Churros: because life needs more magic wands made of dough and sugar!…read more As someone whose sweet tooth is on the smaller side, I like that this place has some savory options. It allows me to enjoy a snack with my friends who are all about that sugar rush lifestyle. I do recommend the breakfast bites for a sweet option. The churros are cut smaller, and you get a mountain of whipped cream and fresh fruit to dip you churros in. It's like the chips and guacamole of in the churro world. The churro-crusted churro-style Hong Kong egg waffles are a must. They drizzle a nice chipotle syrup on top, and they even give you fried chicken skin to munch on. The chicken loco moco is also good, although I suggest asking for more gravy. I'm a gravy fiend, though, so if you're about moderation, it's probably sufficient for you. Milk teas and coffee are good here, but I would pass on the syrupy fruit drinks. This place also offers adorable egg cups, so if you're a sucker for a cute Instagram-worthy beverage, this place does a good job. I like it here! I hope you like it here too. The place is a bit warm, though, so be warned. Bring a hair tie!
