I arrived at the restaurant for a late lunch, around 2pm, and it was quiet. Only 2 other customers seated inside. I ordered the Chicken and Bubble Waffle, and added an Iced Horchata Latte. It took at least a good 5-7 minutes before I got my food, it was hot and fresh. And the savory chicken with sweet waffle was perfectly balanced. This was my first time having bubble waffles, and they were yummy. They were 'churro' style and had a very light cinnamon and sugar flavor. The chicken was a really good portion, hot and crispy. And there is a side of fried crispy chicken skin, ohhhhh so salty - so good! While they maybe be considered more of a sweet shop with their churro, ice cream, and boba offerings, they have a pretty good savory food menu. Churros: because life needs more magic wands made of dough and sugar! As someone whose sweet tooth is on the smaller side, I like that this place has some savory options. It allows me to enjoy a snack with my friends who are all about that sugar rush lifestyle. I do recommend the breakfast bites for a sweet option. The churros are cut smaller, and you get a mountain of whipped cream and fresh fruit to dip you churros in. It's like the chips and guacamole of in the churro world. The churro-crusted churro-style Hong Kong egg waffles are a must. They drizzle a nice chipotle syrup on top, and they even give you fried chicken skin to munch on. The chicken loco moco is also good, although I suggest asking for more gravy. I'm a gravy fiend, though, so if you're about moderation, it's probably sufficient for you. Milk teas and coffee are good here, but I would pass on the syrupy fruit drinks. This place also offers adorable egg cups, so if you're a sucker for a cute Instagram-worthy beverage, this place does a good job. I like it here! I hope you like it here too. My daughter & I wanted to try Churro Nest since we been visiting Temple marketplace. It's located in the shopping area right across from Forever 21. They have a large menu available on your counter to view from dessert's, food & drinks. We ordered the churro ice cream sundae which comes with your choice of 3 toppings & 2 scoops of ice cream of your choice. We choose strawberry cheesecake & vanilla ice cream w/ whipped cream, caramel syrup & Oreo's. All was delicious just wished the Oreo's was chucks not dust & for them to disclose if your total is under $10 you would be charged a small fee which ours was .20. We walked in about 20 minutes prior to their closing time and they still took our order happily. We ordered the churro bites with a side of condensed milk and strawberries. The churro bites were good. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They do have a lot of different items on the menu and everything sounded / looked good. What a cute little family run place in Tempe Marketplace! The man working the register was very kind and answered all our questions. They were pretty busy for Saturday afternoon, but we didn't have to wait long despite the steady stream of customers. We opted for a little savory and a little sweet for our afternoon snack order, so we got the krab rangoons and a churro ice cream bowl. The krab rangoons came out fresh & hot, and the sauce paired perfectly with the crunchy Rangoons. Next, we shared the churro ice cream bowl, which came with 2 scoops of ice cream and 3 toppings of choice (we chose crushed Oreos, caramel sauce, and shredded coconut). This was also delicious, however the packaging made it a bit challenging to eat. We ended up taking the wrapper out of the cup and using it like a plate as we enjoyed our treat. The food is really good. Quite surprised actually. The drinks are decent but it comes in a really cute egg cup for some of the drinks. The only weird aspect of this venue is the people. Customer service is not terrible but just awkward. It kinda flows with the energy of the place which is slow and sluggish. It takes a while to get your stuff. So just be warned of the wait. Most times when I go here, service is great & food is excellent. Tonight, I walked my boss down to this location to show off the mall and that there's a really good churro spot, but when we got there, they had decided to close early for the night at 7:43pm, and kicked us out. Ken is new to AZ and had been at work for 13 hours, so I felt really bad about making him walk all the way from our Jimmy John's. It's not super far, but it was a let down. Especially when we take pride in our own store and stay open until close on the dot or later every single night. My plan to get churros for my team failed. This place is very neat and clean. I ordered a churro nest with strawberry and pistachio Ice cream. It was SO cute!! It was a big white chocolate pink egg, they give you a hammer to crack it open. Then inside the egg you see the ice cream and the churro in the shape of a nest, it was really fun. The pistachio ice cream had whole pistachios in it which I really loved and the churro was the correct texture and tasted good too. The inside space can get crowed quick so if your not a fan of tight spaces, try to go when its not too busy or when the weather allows for outdoor dining. I ordered the mini churros with chocolate and fruity pebbles with a peach white tea. My fiancé ordered a mangonada and the stir fried butter corn. I was already done with my churros and half done with my drink by the time my fiancé got his butter corn. He wanted another item but certain items are only avaliable if one of the employees (I think owners) mom was in. He really liked what he ordered and what we both like the most is the big eggs the drinks come in. We plan to come here again next time we are in Tempe! read more

We came at around 9pm and it was relatively busy. It was right next to the T-Mobile store in the Tempe Market Place; it was also at the old suite of the Zero Degree that was closed permanently. People prefered sitting outside as the weather was getting cooler and the landscaping was beautiful. The churro with ice cream was the best, especially with the coconut flakes and peanuts. Churro was hot and crunchy, perfectly paired with the mildly sweet ice scream scoops. The only thing I didn't like about that churro is that container was very easy to fall over as it was placed in a small flat plastic egg. The rice paper salad has good taste with a couple of fresh quail eggs. My constructive comment on that salad is that it was overly salty; please put less shrimp salt. This place is soooo cute! I was at the Tempe market shopping and wanted a little snack. I found churro nest which wasn't here the last time I was in town shopping. I was pleasantly surprised on how yummy it was! I didn't realize they had Vietnamese street food which was a first for me cus not many places have it. Another great surprise! My boyfriend and I ordered a few things to share- the horchata latte- the cutest presentation! It was really good! Yang Chow Fried Rice- delicious! Kind of wish we bought one each Sweet and sour wings- also yummy! My boyfriend loves sweet and sour. I like more of the savory taste so the rice hit the spot for me personally. Overall, the price is very reasonable and everything tasted delicious and fresh! We'll definitely be coming back to try some more food and drinks! The management had told us they have rotating Vietnamese street food specials here so there's always something new! I thought the staff will give me tiny box but he only gave a tiny paper to hold the bottom of the churro. The topping and the suyrup started fall all over me when he handed it to me. I have a child with a nut allergy which I asked if they could accommodate before ordering given the pistachio and walnut ice cream they serve. She assured me they could. I imagined it would be like cold stone where they keep it totally separate to prevent cross contamination. When she began to prepare my daughters ice cream she was using the same scoop they use for all the ice creams including walnut and pistachio. When I asked her about this she told me they sit it the two scoops in a cup of water so that should wash off anything- perhaps not realizing that they are then both just sitting in the water with nut by products cross contaminating everything. Very upsetting. Had I not been watching her she could have cause my kid to go into anaphylactic shock. I specially asked 3 times about the allergies. This is the first place I've seen that really captured Vietnamese street food very well! The Vietnamese menu is so authentic and new items are always coming for each season! Their teas are not too sweet (aka the biggest compliment from an Asian lol) and you can actually taste the tea in it. I personally recommend the dragon fruit tea and the tornado potato, BEST combo! I've been going to this place since day one and they've really improved on service and quality! And of course their churros rivals the old Churroholic, so PLEASE try this place out if you want to try Asian fusion! read more
