If you love sweets this is the place for you!!!! As I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. It's a cute little ice cream store. The menu was a little confusing as to what you're actually ordering and how to order the ice cream treat. The ice cream was very tasty.. with all that comes on and in the cone it was a little sweet for me. I think if I go back again I'd ask more questions. one question I'd have is if I can pick the flavor and the options I want on and in my cone. Overall it was good, and you get a lot of ice cream.

Looks better than it tastes | The brand is centered around the cone and it left a lot to be desired. It's doughy and flavorless except for a powdered coating on the outside and dense. It wasn't light or crispy as I was expecting based on the name and photos. I was hoping croissant texture. It was more like a dry heavy cinnamon roll without the filling. I threw 90% of the cone away and I LOVE sweets so that's saying something. The soft serve was just okay. Only three flavor choices -- chocolate, vanilla and a specialty (coconut when we visited). You can customize the cone spread and toppings but one cone (with no size options) was $11+ and it asked for a tip. Plus, the people working acted like talking to you was a burden and we had to do all the ordering alone, no customer service either. It's just a gimmick that's good for IG photos but not much else.

This was my second time trying Crispy Cones. I enjoyed the crispy cone itself, although I do feel it's overpriced at $10. We had to order at a kiosk rather than with a person, which was fine. The orders do take a few minutes to come out, so the line moved kinda slow. I like the dessert but feel kinda meh about the experience. The store is small and there is no seating, but there are two standing tables outside.

First visit to Crispy Cones and the Brownie Royale was unreal! The crunchy Kit Kat pieces paired with the chewy brownie was perfection. Loved watching the cone get made right in front of me and the portion was very generous. My cone wasn't as crispy as I had thought, but still good. Definitely a spot I'd go back to!

Phenomenal flavor -- the Biscoff-flavored ice cream should have a permanent place on the menu (RIP when it phases off the rotating seasonal menu). I like that there were a variety of toppings, but wish you could get Biscoff as a drizzle as well as the coating inside the cone. The price seems a little steep, but the flavor made me visit twice on my short stint in the Phoenix area, and I would definitely recommend trying it. Note that you'll have to take your cone to-go, as there is no seating inside.

When I get ice cream it's all about the cone! Wow these cones are so delicious, this is an absolute must try! They have basically taken a churro and made them into a cone, add ice cream, and almost any topping you can think of and you have a Crispy Cone! These are so delicious and I don't usually like Nutella but didn't mind it at all in the cone, but you can get it without also.

Ice cream is not bad but not a lot of choices and it's pretty pricey. Staff was super friendly and the place is clean!

Cute shop, great location, but honestly won't pay a second visitI ordered the "berry cheesecake," which turned out to be plain vanilla ice cream pretending to be fancy which tastes no different from Hagen Dazs, with a few strawberries and some tiny cheesecake crumbs on top. The cone, supposedly the highlight of the ice cream, was good but tasted like a plain donut doing a crossover episode at an ice cream shop. I would say overall an ordinary ice cream with extraordinary price. And the seating situation? Two tall tables, zero chairs. There were four of us, so we ended up eating on a bench outside like homeless people while our cones slowly started melting and dripping.

Came here for a sweet treat, been wanting to try a place like this and it was really good! Probably the best ice cream I've had, the staff could have been more personable but other than that everything was great. It got super busy after we left, it's a small location with a lot to offer!

We visited Crispy Cones last Friday at the recommendation of my friend who saw them on social media. The menu was simple and straightforward. I went with the weekly ice cream flavor (Dulce de leche) in the March specialty cone, which was Oreo flavored. I also had cookie butter spread inside the cone and biscoff cookies jabbed into the ice cream. It was delicious. The cashier was super friendly and answered all of our questions, as it was our first time here. Though there is no seating inside of the shop, we were able to stand outside and eat at the high top tables. A little awkward but a good experience overall!

I order an original crispy cone with vanilla soft serve, drizzled with cookie butter, topped with Oreo crumbles, and Nutella inside the crispy cone. It's a lot more filling than meets the eye so it's a good value but the crispy cone is very thick and not very soft. The cone was similar to chewing a pretzel that's been out for a many hours. The service is pretty slow as they assemble each cone very carefully but I appreciate the nice presentation.m of the food. It's a really quick order on an iPad and there's no place to sit and enjoy the cone when you're done. There's not much inside the shop but has the typical ice cream vibe with the black and white checkered floor.

I pass this place on the regular and wanted my own experience. The vanilla soft serve was delicious and the crispy cone was its own delight. The wait was minimal and spent watching the kind staff make the cones. The ambiance was chilled. Then again it's hard to be in a bad mood when ice cream is involved. The end result is the attached picture- yum! Give this place a try.

Stopped by today during the Tempe Festival of The Arts for a quick desert. I am Romanian so this reminded me of a Romanian-Hungarian snack called Kürtőskalács so I had to get this because it was making me nostalgic. I am used to eating the cooked dough on its own but the Nutella inside and the ice cream were a nice touch. They were so filling we actually skipped lunch due to not being hungry after eating them. If you don't like overly sweet desserts, don't get the works just get the cone on its own. The service was great, the girls were nice and quick during a busy time. No complaints!

I have been there many times, and it is convenient as I work within walking distance of Sparky's. Whenever I am walking along Mill Avenue and am craving some ice cream, Sparky's is one of my main stops in the area. The ice cream is delicious. Some of my favorite flavors are Batter in Bed and Banana Cream Pie. However, I have had just about every flavor that they serve, and all of them are delicious in their own ways. I like the pleasant atmosphere. Nice and low-key place where you can relax and enjoy your ice cream. The general manager, Connor, is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He is always a pleasure to talk to whenever I have some time for a friendly conversation during my lunch break at work. Every time I stop by, he ensures I feel welcome and right at home. Another bonus is that they have a rewards program, which offers five dollars off once you accumulate enough points. I recommend it to anyone in the Downtown Tempe area who is looking for a delicious ice cream treat.
