Regular bar and restaurant, food was okay, the fish was really tough. Enjoyed the tator tots and refreshing cocktail, staff friendly & attentive!

Located right on Main st in Beacon, NY. Street parking as well as a lot behind the establishment. Greeted soon as we walked in & served water immediately. Staff are very nice. Our waiter was cool but could of been more attentive since he only checked in on us once when the food came out then another time to ask if we needed boxes, etc. The drinks are always great & strong! The food was hot, fresh & delicious! The empanadas are also a hit -OMG filled with lots of meat & cheese. I've never seen Street corn served the way they serve it..cute & perfect for sharing!

I guess it depends on the time of day; there have been days when the place was filled with families with small children. It can get noisy The menu takes a nouveau approach to Mexican-Tex/Mex cuisine. Not bad, but not what you might expect. You have a vast choice of tequilas and mezcals as well as specialty cocktails to choose from. The staff is knowledgeable.

Great! I'm rounding up from 4.5 because I feel the current stars are low for what it is. Food was quite good; the portions were better than average for the price, with generous amounts of guacamole for each plate we ordered. Presentation was also excellent. I might have liked more sour cream than I got for my burrito, but that's subjective. The server/barman ("John") also had a really good vibe, among the best service personas I've ever encountered. As if he was compensated well and treated with dignity, and was passing both on to us as the place's customers--I hope that that's the case! Ambiance: at 2:18 pm on a Tuesday, things aren't dead! Three dining groups and another four people at the bar. Hold a conversation without yelling or let other voices fill the space around you. Music is wholesome, semi-recent, and feel-good but not soulless. Like an Old Navy playlist if it wasn't curated by an exhaustively focus-tested algorithm. Impressive!

Angus and Chorizo burger with a side of plantain along with guacamole & tomato. Just delicious.

Love going here. The entrance opens like a garage, to the left is a lonnng Tequila bar with 3 rows of your favorite Agave. Very comfortable, food is delicious. Service was spot on. BTW There are many different restaurants on this Main St. in Beacon.

Just came here for a light dinner. Was very impressed with the food. Cool ambiance too and músic. Had the 3 taco combo. Ahi tuna, shrimp, scallop. Delicious! Keep in mind there's a surcharge for using credit card so bring cash. Will be back to try other things when in the area. My favorite is ahi tuna but I also like the scallops and shrimp. Came with beans and rice.

Came here during the beacon food drink event. They did not participate but we needed to cool off. Place was crowded and we were seated immediately We got an appetizer of quesadilla and a mezcal mixed drink. Sat us down quick and served us politely and efficiently :) Place served its purpose Menu looked good but we were full from the event And just wanted to spread some love for beacon shops

I loved the indoor outdoor feel. At Baja 328, the front entrance has garage doors; perfect for those warm weather days and inviting for people walking about on Main Street. The taco salad with shrimp was everything i was hoping for and more. It was full of fresh ingredients and flavorful, juicy and sizable shrimp. Highly recommend and will definitely be having it again, maybe switching it up and trying to with the steak or chicken offered.

Great experience with my friends also with an unexpected Don Josè truck outside! Food: the appetizer of popcorn chicken with the sauces were underwhelming, though the sauces were really good. My main course meal was fantastic, a Buffalo chicken chimichanga, which came recommended by the waitress when I asked. Everyone at the table tried and really liked it. My wife enjoyed her tacos and my friends enjoyed their meals (tacos and fajitas). Aesthetic: deceivingly long restaurant with a nice bar area, although it does feel a little tight which doesn't help during COVID. Service: when our waitress was there she was fantastic, but it seemed like it wasn't really all that great, maybe because they were busy.

Happy a shrimp quesadilla NEVER FAILS the staff is AMAZING, love the vibes, it is just a happy place you could feel it as soon as you go inside. Izzy the chef never disappoints. This time I skipped the drink because I was on my lunch break. This place never seems to disappoint. I went a couple of weeks ago for my birthday as well and tipped my first drink over totally my fault. As I was cleaning it up one of the staff members appeared with a rag and said no worries I will clean it up for you and the other staff member was already making my drink for me. We had the nachos with steak and let me just tell you, one person cannot finish that the portions are great. When we asked for the bill they bought out a slice of cake for me. It was so nice of them. Definitely a great place

Nachos with shredded chicken on the side

Lunch spot for a day trip to Beacon! My friends had the tacos, the Shrimp tacos being their favorite. I had the taco salad which was superb, best I've ever had. Comes in a taco shell bowl. We ordered the nachos for the tables with shredded chicken (on the side for the pescatarian in our group) the seasoning was very tasty. It's a tequila bar, we had Casa Azul Tequila on the rocks, but the true star of the show was their seasonal margarita, Guava coconut with a toasted coconut rim. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. Truly great spot!!

This restaurant was a good place for a post hike dinner. Their portions were huge and very nourishing. We shared the short rib quesadilla and the taco salad with chicken. The quesadilla was extremely heavy and oily. Normally not what I would go for, but after a long hike, I gobbled it up. The taco salad complemented it well. It had a ton of veggies and fresh dollop of guac on top. The amount of chicken was insane too. So flavorful! We also got a strawberry jalapeño margarita. It was spicier than other jalapeño margaritas we've tried, in a good way. Our only gripe is that it took a long time to get water. No one stopped by to check on us during our meal until we were done eating so that was our only opportunity to get water.

We had a great time playing a game as we were eating and drinking. The drinks all had different flavors, and we're all very well blended and balanced for taste. I would say my favorite one was the surprise me drink. The Korean nachos were delicious, and there was a nice little tang of flavor as you eat it. The garlic dipping sauce that came along with the tallow fries was very addicting to eat (not usually fond of garlic) We finished everything we ordered. Overall the drinks complemented the food flavors very well. Kiera made sure we were good with our food and drinks, she was funny to talk to and made our first experience So much better. Friendly waitress answered our menu questions and took our order quickly. We had the bar pretzel, grilled chicken sandwich, the mushroom burger and Chocolate Chip Lava cake. I reminisce arcade video games were always localized at shopping malls. Happy Valley Arcade Bar contains many games and snacks as well as alcohol and non-alcohol drinks are available. There is a coin change machine which was not working. This arcade video game business does contain a bathroom facility. It does provide a temporary mental detox or mental phlegmatic disposition from life's stressors in a casual relaxed atmosphere without judgment and without pressure of looming deadline for quota. There is also a small photo booth which can only fit two people. It was impossible to cramp six adults in this miniscule booth. There is an outdoor patio for seating. I hoped to see Grand Theft Auto, but to no avail. Arcade cabinet games are: Pac-Man 1980 I played for $0.25 and lost at the first round. Donkey Kong 1981 No comment. I did not play. The Simpsons 1991 No comment. I did not play. This depicts violence as Maggie is kidnapped because a large stolen diamond, inadvertently, landed in her mouth during a melee and she begins sucking on it like a pacifier. The rest of the Simpsons family gives a violent chase in pursuit for retrieving Maggie. Mortal Kombat II 1993 No comment. I did not play. Street Fighter II 1993 No comment. I did not play. KungFu Kickball I was on the red team to punch, kick and headbutt a ball into the opponent's bell and won against a good longtime male friend who was on the blue team. The final score 3-2. I feel like Danielle de Barbarac who slaughtered her longtime childhood male friend, Gustave in mud fights. "Boy or girl, I can still whip you!" Danielle de Barbarac in "Ever After: A Cinderella Story" 1998 film. Because the capable woman is never far away as I am right here! Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2002 Wow! This dancing video game reminds me of the movie "The Kissing Booth" which appears exactly as is. Pinball Oh, my inner child surfaces! No comment. I did not play. Pinball games are very classic and simple as the objective are all the same with a carbon steel or chrome steel ball with flippers. It is a game of chance. I would play pinball at outdoor fairs or festivals while eating funnel cake with strawberries. I remember playing Initial D Arcade Stage: Cycraft Edition 2003 where the seat drastically shifted, leaned, and jerked violently sideways to perfectly match the mountain-pass touge drifting mechanics of the motion-simulator racing game. I remember I jackknifed a vehicle! I lost this five minute racing game with my then boyfriend. Disappointedly, this video game cabinet is not available at Happy Valley Arcade Bar.
