This is my favorite Baggin's location! It is conveniently located right off the I-10 (Cortaro Road exit), so it is a great place to stop for lunch either on the way in or out of Tucson. The manager at this location is so welcoming! He is always there at lunchtime with free cookies for all who walk in the door. The chocolate chip cookies that he hands out (and that also come with your sandwich) are freshly made daily. They are wonderful! My go-to sandwich is the tuna sandwich. I typically get it on a sub roll, served with a side of the honey mustard for dipping. The honey mustard costs a bit extra, but it's so delicious! Some of my other go-to favorites are the cinnamon spiced iced tea (they also have regular unsweetened iced tea for those that do not like the cinnamon spice) and the brownie. If my lunch was in the $10, maybe $12 range I might give it a better rating, but it was not a lot of sandwich for a hair under $15. It came with a cookie, not really wanting a cookie, so, not sure what part of the $15 that was for. The sourdough was a smallish loaf slice, the filling (chicken bacon tarragon) was skimpy & there was almost no avocado in sight. My pictures tell the story of what felt like not a good value. Won't be coming back as this is my 3rd or 4th visit over the years and the value proposition keeps getting worse. Either make your sandwich larger, or your price smaller. I was on the phone with my daughter who lives in trendy part of NYC & when she heard was I ordered and saw the pic, she was shocked (not in a good way). Not sure why every business thinks their food is worthy of $20 lunch per person when I can go to other restaurants within a stone's throw & not leave hungry for the same or less. Service: 2 stars. I used to order the Unforgettable all the time when I worked down the street from a different Baggins but I hadn't had it in years. The sandwich left a lot to be desired. The bread fell apart making it hard to eat. The portion size of turkey and avocado does not justify the price. There was one little tomato slice on the whole sandwich. It was nice and fresh but for over $16, the portion size is very small. The only thing that comes with the sandwich is a cookie, and mine was over baked. There are better options around to get a decent sized meal for what they charge here for just a sandwich. read more

Inviting and cozy atmosphere with super friendly service. We had the carrot cake, Sundown sandwich, French Dip sandwich, and tomato basil soup. Everything tasted fresh and light. I chose the Sundown sandwich because it reminded me of the Bobby, which I love. It could have used less lettuce and more cranberry and stuffing to really bring in that Thanksgiving in a bite feeling, but it was still tasty. My husband loved his French Dip sandwich. I had heard mostly good things about Baggins gourmet sandwiches and I agree mostly with that assessment. The food is pretty and service is also okay. Some weird things however is that they don't take orders over the phone. They have an automated message saying to place orders online. Not sure what that is all about. And they also don't seem to have the same menu at their store as they do on their ordering website. But beyond that everything else was satisfactory. My "almost reuben" sandwich was very tasty. Not sure my mom enjoyed her California BLT as much. There was a tomato in there that was under ripe and she didn't like the 12 grain bread too much either. We both enioyed the complimentary chocolate chip cookies and brownies. Not sure I will be back anytime soon but I did enjoy my meal overall! read more

They have a fairly large menu of cold or hot sandwiches, salads,salads, and desserts. While we were waiting for our food, the tall man came around and served us delicious choc chip cookies. The french dip sandwich is so good here, I hope they make it a permanent item if it isn't already. Sometimes you get a french dip at other places and the sauce has zero flavor, but the dipping sauce here is perfect. This Baggins actually had me thinking at one point, that I didn't like Baggins anymore, then I went to another location, and it was really good how I remember it being. My husband and I eat at Baggins regularly because we have come to enjoy the quality of the product even with the high price. This location was a mess. Placed an online order with included tip. They lost half my order mind you I only ordered two sandwiches. $33 thought they could have walked my sandwich out to me 15-20 steps away but no, so okay I went in and it took the young man a moment to realize my bag was right in Front of him. Okay I go sit out side and the sandwich was a Sopping mess of goo. I take the sandwich back in and complain to the manager or lead whoever proceeds to complain about his business problems walk off employee etc. He did offer to refund me but at this point I'm just a hungry girl who paid for a service and product not received to a standard that Baggins has sold to AZ. If I could give this location zero stars, I would! This location is literally the worst! I don't understand why it takes them so long to make a sandwich. Almost 30 minutes for 1 salad! My suggestion would be to clean house and get all new staff that's willing to work. I'm so shocked at how little hustle this location does. This was definitely our best dining out experience in a long while! It was a spontaneous lunch so we had our dogs with us. It was hard to find a place with a shaded patio for the pups, but this location was perfect and cool enough for midday May in Tucson. Nice shaded spot. WTH NYC & LA prices Flea sized portions After failing to put avocado on my sandwich, they give me the pictured tiny portion. Even if I lived here I'd never return. Very little meat on sandwich. I bought the $8.90 Prime Baggin's, plus the super tiny $5.99 "bowl" of tomato basil soup as opposed to the $4.15 "cup" that I can only imagine is barely a spoonful. While the person running the register was attentive, when I mentioned the mistake, kitchen staff made it obvious they don't ever make mistakes. 12/31. I walked in before 5 and used the restroom. A employee said hi. So I sat for about 5 minutes to see what to order. Then some kid walks up and says we're closing. I spoke to the cashier and told asked her do you always close early when your website says til 9. I then asked for a 800 number and was told we don't have one. Look it up online for yourself. Fully understand that they want to go home but when your business doors are open might be a clue you need to manage these kids more closely. The cashier that gave me attitude has directed me to the numerous sandwich shops in the area. I really don't care but thought maybe someone other than kids running the shop should know.
