When I got home, the bag from Jersey Mike's was on my doorstep, my heart raced, my stomach did a somersault, thinking about my dinner was what got me through the day. However, much to my surprise, instead of getting anything close to what my heart was yearning for, I received a plain piece of bread, with turkey on it. NOTHING ELSE. The size you ask? tiny. A half of what I ordered. I don't know who decided this joke would be fun to play on just a simple working man, but it was heart breaking, demoralizing even. I don't know how I will be able to continue on in this life. I hope this Jersey Mike's location identifies the young man or woman who enjoys inflicting such wounds and emotional turmoil on a working-class man, during the holiday season and punishes them to the absolute extent that corporate policy allows. I was told their systems were down and it would take a couple of days, but that I'd be refunded. I sincerely hope that happens, but even more than the messed-up food, it was the rude and dismissive way I was treated that left me flustered and upset.
