    Hot sauces to try
    Karl A.

This is a solid breakfast and a great value. We got a table right away and the service was quick. It didn't take long and our food was out. I decided to try the namesake bacon and eggs. Everything was cooked really well. A highlight for me was the wall of hot sauces to try. You could find any manner of flavor or heat to take your meal to the next level. Such a cool idea! Great food, great service!

Best buttermilk pancakes I have ever had. We added blueberries and it made them even better. While waiting to order I saw a huge stack of pancakes go by, so I knew I had to order a stack for my husband and I to share. We got a small stack of two and they were delicious. Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Served with real maple syrup. I may drive across the state just to have these again. We also ordered cocktails, bloody mary for me and a fresh squeezed Paloma for me. I love Bloody Marys and I love horseradish, but it had so much horseradish in it I couldn't drink it. The fresh Paloma was delicious. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich which was great for a breakfast sandwich. My husband had the huevos con chorizo and he enjoyed it. They have a nice collection of hot sauces to use. Unfortunately, I didn't see them until after I was done eating. Definitely order the pancakes!

    Bloody Mary

Easily the best breakfast you can have in walla walla. You can tell time and effort have been put into the menu creation I always get a Bloody Mary and the migas and they are absolutely incredible but you could order anything on the menu at random and be blown away !!! This place always has a line out the door, rightfully so and a hundred percent worth the wait!!

    Coconut Margarita, Tuscan Eggs Benedict

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. I had the Tuscan Eggs Benedict and I am still thinking about it several hours later, solid 10/10. I have tried all of their other Eggs Benedict's and this is by far my favorite. I also tried a new cocktail and deviated from my normal Bloody Mary; I ordered the Coconut Margarita, and it was incredible, my new favorite breakfast cocktail. Very happy with my meal today. I will be back soon!

Never a fan of long waits for food and I would much prefer to go somewhere else but since my hubby had his heart sat at this place ,I decided to be patient for him . Maybe I don't understand how restaurants work but if I see plenty of open seating and they still make you wait 20 minutes , it just doesn't sit well with me .Once seated the food took another 30 minutes to arrive and by this point I was pretty much bored of the wait . All that having been said ,the food was fantastic and the service was good . I was not a fan of my cappuccino at all but the OJ was freshly squeezed and hit the right spot . I had the salmon lox benedict that comes with a side of hash browns and my husband got the Biscuits and Gravy which he loved. Pricing seemed fair .

Tasty breakfast! Serving up tasty eats and hot hot coffee...do you really need more?! I enjoyed my Benedict. Poached eggs were perfect!

Top notch breakfast. This was just down from our hotel. It's cute. We arrived at 9:30 for breakfast and were sat quickly. We had to wait a little for our server, but food came out quickly and was very good. I highly suggest the French toast.

    Chilaquiles

Went here two days in a row - solid brunch/breakfast food, great helpful staff. While popular and I was worried after hearing stories of lines, we never waited more than 5 minutes for a table for two.

Chilaquiles, very good flavor, mild/medium spice in the sauce.

Food was great! We both enjoyed our meals. Good crowd and the staff handled it well and minimized the wait. Very attentive. Casual, open concept dining areas. Wife made a comment "if you make good food, the people will come". She wasn't wrong!

Fantastic find of a place! Excellent BBQ and reasonable prices. Not a full service cocktail…read moreplace but drinks made with their spirits were good. The first thing is coming in you get that rustic lodge feeling from the woodwork and decor as you get hit with that smokehouse aroma. No better way to get you hungry and set the mood for BBQ. Just yum! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. She was attentive and checked in but never intrusive, hovering and did not ignore us once served. Tried a flight with Huckleberry, Berry, Cinnamon, Espresso and Walla Walla Sweet Onion (they "tree in" the espresso). Could take or leave the berries espresso and cinnamon were fantastic while the onion was interesting. Had a Bloody Mary with the onion and it was good. One table mate had the loaded potato with Mac and cheese and pulled pork. The noodles were bigger than skinny boxed and very tender. The cheese was creamy and flavorful and the pulled pork was tender and juicy and jam packed with flavor but could have been a bit more smoky. For the food: I got a small BBQ platter which came with 3-meat choices , a dinner roll and a single side choice. I chose baked beans for my side. Tri-tip, ribs and brisket for my meats. I tasted the beans nothing special but tasty. Same for the roll. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, juicy and meaty! I got three 3"-4" ribs. I also had a small pile of super thin sliced tender juicy and flavorful tri-tip and three 1/4-1/2" thick slices of brisket. The brisket was moist and had a good smoke flavor as well. I ate all the ribs, half the tri-tip and a slice of brisket. The rest went home with me as this was a hearty serving. To end our evening we were sent on our way with well wishes and thanks for patronage from our server and the bartender!

From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much pride and passion goes into everything they do. This isn't just a restaurant; it's a family pouring their heart into their craft. The backstory alone is inspiring -- from perfecting a coffee liqueur recipe years ago to building a full distillery and now a restaurant that's quickly becoming a local favorite. On our visit, we tried a little bit of everything: the legendary Texas Twinkies, hearty Loaded Baked Potatoes, the signature Cedar Rain Sandwich, and the savory Brisket Dip. Every bite tasted like it came from years of practice, care, and a true love of good food. And the drinks? Absolute perfection. The Peach Green Tea Cocktail was bright and refreshing, and the Lavender Lemonade Mocktail was every bit as crafted as a cocktail -- thoughtful, balanced, and locally inspired. What struck me most is how dedicated Cedar Rain is to being part of the Walla Walla community. They've built more than a menu -- they've built a gathering place that celebrates local flavors, family, and connection. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and go. What can I say, this was amazing! Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. We started with KPop…read morechicken as an appetizer and it was juiciey and soo full of flavor. Our meals took some time to come out however we were forewarned. With a scratch kitchen, it's to be expected. I had the Black Cod, moist, flavorful and the favorite of the table. My husband had the Halibut (can't remember the name of the dish) and also perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the sticky rice and sauce really hit the spot. Our friends had the pork cheeks and quadrill, both dishes full of flavor and the meet cooked perfect, juicy and the sauce was an excellent compliment each individual meal. The potato's with the quadril had a nice garlic hint! The portions were filling and we didn't leave anything behind. Friendly staff, clean atmosphere, and great drink options, we will be back! We didn't give 5 stars as even though there was a warning, the timing between the delivery of each plate could have been closer and while our kiddos are foodies, there wasn't a whole lot for them to pick from that we could consider "safe" choices. They ordered the japache and while we adults loved the glass noodles, they felt like it was a little too slimy and the bean sprouts were definitely strong in flavor. The dish itself was well put together and the kiddos devoured the chicken and veggies in the meal.

Here's the breakdown Ambiance- pub style with plenty of tvs and great art. Comfortable chairs and table heights, a little chilly for a few of us but temperature is always a preference. Bathrooms were clean and decorated nicely.they have a phone charging station which any other time we may have used lol but it was our first stop in town -10 Service- friendly, average wait on food and drinks. Food- Here's where we get some dings. Great menu choices all around, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, chicken, fish n chips and more. Portions were great! I anticipated my niece wouldn't eat it all so I ordered a side salad and the waitress suggested I order a half garden salad for a little more than lettuce and dressing, great suggestion! All portions were hearty! The onion ring starter was an 8- batter was perfect! Not too much, not too little and tasty, except for the hint of fish, which indicated to me they mix their fryer food. The onion inside was thick and flavorful, not pungent at all. Burger- Everyone loved the flavor of their burgers. The shroom boom has a jam on it that wasn't to my husbands liking and he'd take it off next time as he would love to order it again. The Dynaburget has a little hit, but flavorful. The fries that came with our burgers were a solid 10, crispy outside and soft inside. Everything was hot on service. What we all wished and hadn't caught when we ordered was that our burgers were all cooked to a well temp, and that did leave a bit of a downer for us as we like our burgers medium or medium rare. They didn't have that juicey goodness that we would give a 10, a little dry, and gave it a premade patty feel however it wasn't a premade patty taste so we felt like it was handmade patties. Overcooked and still flavorful, therefore we dropped our overall rating to a 7. Next time we will make sure to share our cook temp preference.
