The presentation of the food was great and taste was even better. The K-Sammy is VERY messy but so delicious. Calamari was tender and the dipping sauce was incredible. Not gonna lie, the Pork Cheeks wasn't me or my wifes favorite. But it really wasn't bad. *Lesson of leaving a 5 star before you leave the restaurant....the service was..alright..we had our card out waiting for the check for honestly about 30min or so and it wasnt busy. Was walking around town and wanted to try this place out. They also had happy hour when we got there which was a bonus. We were seated quickly and it wasn't too busy so we were able to get a booth seat. The inside was nice and the booth was comfy. I decided to try a few items from the happy hour menu. Got an IPA for $8. Started with the k-pop wings. They were delicious and juicy and had a great flavor, and I enjoyed the sauces it came with. Also got the lamb burger. Honestly pretty disappointed. It was pretty dry, with barely any sauces and the bread made it more dry so it was hard to eat. The lamb was pretty good but wasn't the best. I also wish it came with fries or something else as a side. Finally got the Bibimbap with tofu. It was beautifully plated and had a lot of toppings but the rice was inedible. It seems to be at least a day old, not fresh, and it was not warm at all. The rice made it hard for me to enjoy as that was majority of the dish. The tofu was pretty good but overall I wouldn't return here unless for the k-pop wings. After dropping off the bill our waitress didn't come back at all so we had to wait a long time to get checked out, even another waiter had to come in and check us out because he realized she didn't come back. What can I say, this was amazing! Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. We started with KPop chicken as an appetizer and it was juiciey and soo full of flavor. Our meals took some time to come out however we were forewarned. With a scratch kitchen, it's to be expected. I had the Black Cod, moist, flavorful and the favorite of the table. My husband had the Halibut (can't remember the name of the dish) and also perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the sticky rice and sauce really hit the spot. Our friends had the pork cheeks and quadrill, both dishes full of flavor and the meet cooked perfect, juicy and the sauce was an excellent compliment each individual meal. The potato's with the quadril had a nice garlic hint! The portions were filling and we didn't leave anything behind. Friendly staff, clean atmosphere, and great drink options, we will be back! We didn't give 5 stars as even though there was a warning, the timing between the delivery of each plate could have been closer and while our kiddos are foodies, there wasn't a whole lot for them to pick from that we could consider "safe" choices. They ordered the japache and while we adults loved the glass noodles, they felt like it was a little too slimy and the bean sprouts were definitely strong in flavor. Claire and Eddie have really knocked it out of the park with The Witlof. Fantastic location and interior, and the food was so insanely good. A truly elevated experience. It was perfect for our date lunch. It has Basque, Dutch, and Korean-inspired fare, and we decided to go full Korean. My wife and I are both gluten free, and it was a relief that so many options on the menu were gluten free. They have plenty of dairy free, vegetarian, and vegan options, too. We shared the K-Pop chicken, which of course we had to get just for the name. It's like popcorn chicken, but make it Korean. Claire said the K-Pop chicken was their top seller, and I could see why. We could eat that again and again. We also shared the bibimbap and asked for it with extra bulgogi meat and an extra egg. Both were so incredibly flavorful. The bibimbap has house-made pickled veggies and house-made kimchi. My wife will be doing another trip to Walla Walla this month just to bring her sister here so she can experience it too. Service was prompt and top notch, and they answered all our questions about our food allergies. The Witlof is a treat and a must-visit if you're in Walla Walla for the day. read more

On a lazy afternoon I saw this new restaurant and went in. It was empty, but it was also 3pm. The hostess told me it was the 4th week of their soft opening. The place is sleek, Old Hollywood and Big Band music played, the walls are black and the ceiling is white. Everything feels a tad unfinished. I've been hearing mixed reviews and unfortunately it's true. Our server was great really nice young man. The only thing good was the K-pop chicken. Our entrées were both cold and we didn't need to be there for two hours, but we were on a slow Monday. My airplane chicken I should've known better terribly cold and dry and the beef cheek not good either. The ambience of the space is nice until you have arguing staff or should I say demeaning staff talking to each other very uncomfortable situation I'm not sure we'll be back. read more

There were many errors in our service. Food and wine were forgotten. The chicken sandwich was not warm. Honestly, it would seem that there were not enough waitstaff. Our waitress, who was clearly being run ragged, was running between two rooms. I think she was serving a large party in the "back" room who were related to her. Had she only been focusing on our area, it probably would've been better. We waited for nearly 20 minutes to get our 1st appetizer, the other one was forgotten. Some tables, who were seated well after us, got their food first. Perhaps a revamp of the "systems", and an expediter, may help. Not a busy time of year, usually and I can imagine this will not bode well during the busy season. It would have been nice for more "fusion" to have been evident. Asparagus, which are the shining glory of the season around her, were woody and not trimmed properly. Blue cheese and aioli served with the asparagus were genius and delicious, as was my cod. The cauliflower puree was silken and delightful, as was the shaved salad on top. Room for improvement. Hopefully, management will help to hire more people and a kitchen system can be created. read more

We just discovered this restaurant and tried it on 10/5/2025 to celebrate a birthday. We had the K Chicken app and enjoyed the great flavor. We have missed having any Korean food locally, so now we know where to go to satisfy our craving. We had the Pork Belly and Pork Cheek specials and they were both delish. The waitress said it was hummus. The menu mentioned green garbanzoes, so I guess that was what it was. 2nd, our server was very nice, however, see below 3rd, our appetizer of squid came promptly and was very good. Now for the 1 stars. 1. we waited 45 minutes for our entree. There was one table occupied when we entered (5:30) No one came by to see how we were doing. 2 My husband had the beef. Fool me once shame on me. On the first visit I was sold half chicken and was served an airline chicken breast, it was up to me to point this out and when I did the server said I would love it and never came back, it was dry like almost every other chicken breasts. Today our server was quite awesome, unfortunately the food was not well thought out or executed. The buns on the sliders were literally burned, like black, and still served, both companion and I thought it was on purpose, but no it was scorched awful can't cut with a knife burned. The same sauce was served with potatoes and calamari? The sauce was very bland and I can't understand why calamari and potatoes would come with the same sauce? maybe because they were both over-fried? Mistakes happen, and so does oversight, however something happened today that is truly unforgivable. I asked our server what the yellow vegetable was with the carrots, I specifically asked because there were potatoes mixed in, and this vegetable was not sweet like the rest of the carrots. Our server asked the same person who sold me the half chicken/ just kidding it's a chicken breast, and her reply could be heard in the entire restaurant ranting about the carrots are carrots, and she just could not believe she was being asked this question. I am not sure if she was only being demeaning to the server, or if she was passively speaking to myself and my friend, it doesn't matter, it felt hurtful. My friend was embarrassed. We had a mediocre lunch that was 6 out of 10 for $80. It was cold literally. Your restaurant can't afford the power bill (it was freezing); you cannot afford to have a pretentious Primadonna on your staff. I will never be back. I don't go out to a restaurant to experience attitude and be insulted. Even if the person just meant it for the server, I hate that. Cocktails were fun and fanciful. The Iberico ham appetizer was fantastic. The duck three ways was excellent and a huge portion. The lamb burger with fries was delicious. Stopped in for some shared plates and Basque wine last night with a friend and was delighted. Our server was down-to-earth and offered wonderful suggestions. The K-corn Dog was a tastebud dream, crunchy and savory with a hint of sweet. The Albondigas were tender, served with delicious cheese buns and light gravy. If you're looking for a tasty meal, definitely give this new place a try! The owners have created a menu that is surprising yet approachable and unpretentious, and that is hard to do. Really excited about this addition to the Walla Walla food scene. An innovative (though admittedly strange sounding) fusion of Basque and Korean dishes, with a strong continental wine list with reasonably priced glass pours. The steak was perfectly cooked with great sauces. The crab ran good was almost an empanada and really nice, though we wanted a tangier sauce with it. The place needs more decor to give it more personality...some art on the walls would go a long way to making it feel less like a pop up. It is newly opened, so I suspect that will come soon.
