A charming and sophisticated space with a cozy, elevated ambiance--Witlof sets the perfect tone for a memorable evening. The food was creative and well-executed, and the service was gracious and attentive throughout.

The bulgogi. We asked for extra meat and an extra egg because we were super hungry and we ate every bite

Claire and Eddie have really knocked it out of the park with The Witlof. Fantastic location and interior, and the food was so insanely good. A truly elevated experience. It was perfect for our date lunch. It has Basque, Dutch, and Korean-inspired fare, and we decided to go full Korean. My wife and I are both gluten free, and it was a relief that so many options on the menu were gluten free. They have plenty of dairy free, vegetarian, and vegan options, too. We shared the K-Pop chicken, which of course we had to get just for the name. It's like popcorn chicken, but make it Korean. Claire said the K-Pop chicken was their top seller, and I could see why. We could eat that again and again. We also shared the bibimbap and asked for it with extra bulgogi meat and an extra egg. Both were so incredibly flavorful. The bibimbap has house-made pickled veggies and house-made kimchi. My wife will be doing another trip to Walla Walla this month just to bring her sister here so she can experience it too. Service was prompt and top notch, and they answered all our questions about our food allergies. The Witlof is a treat and a must-visit if you're in Walla Walla for the day.

My friend took me there to try the menu for soft opening. Food was good. Friendly staffs. Fancy utensils.

On a lazy afternoon I saw this new restaurant and went in. It was empty, but it was also 3pm. The hostess told me it was the 4th week of their soft opening. The place is sleek, Old Hollywood and Big Band music played, the walls are black and the ceiling is white. Everything feels a tad unfinished. I couldn't tell you what type of restaurant this is-- it is still developing its POV. My cocktail was well balanced and my soup gazpacho refreshing. I look forward to coming back!

Finally came here tonight. It was amazing. The Tempura Black Cod was light and flavorful, house salad was really good. Even the after dinner coffee was perfect. Another great addition to food in Walla Walla.

Comfy restaurant and great service. We enjoyed everything except the Korean Fried Chicken and the XO noodles.

Great food and great service! A good mix of Korean and Spanish plates or a interesting mix of both!

Went there and they messed up our order. Food was ok, but expensive. I don't think we'll be back again.

Fantastic find of a place! Excellent BBQ and reasonable prices. Not a full service cocktail…read moreplace but drinks made with their spirits were good. The first thing is coming in you get that rustic lodge feeling from the woodwork and decor as you get hit with that smokehouse aroma. No better way to get you hungry and set the mood for BBQ. Just yum! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. She was attentive and checked in but never intrusive, hovering and did not ignore us once served. Tried a flight with Huckleberry, Berry, Cinnamon, Espresso and Walla Walla Sweet Onion (they "tree in" the espresso). Could take or leave the berries espresso and cinnamon were fantastic while the onion was interesting. Had a Bloody Mary with the onion and it was good. One table mate had the loaded potato with Mac and cheese and pulled pork. The noodles were bigger than skinny boxed and very tender. The cheese was creamy and flavorful and the pulled pork was tender and juicy and jam packed with flavor but could have been a bit more smoky. For the food: I got a small BBQ platter which came with 3-meat choices , a dinner roll and a single side choice. I chose baked beans for my side. Tri-tip, ribs and brisket for my meats. I tasted the beans nothing special but tasty. Same for the roll. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, juicy and meaty! I got three 3"-4" ribs. I also had a small pile of super thin sliced tender juicy and flavorful tri-tip and three 1/4-1/2" thick slices of brisket. The brisket was moist and had a good smoke flavor as well. I ate all the ribs, half the tri-tip and a slice of brisket. The rest went home with me as this was a hearty serving. To end our evening we were sent on our way with well wishes and thanks for patronage from our server and the bartender!

We finally made it into Cedar Rain Spirits in downtown Walla Walla, and I have to say -- this place…read moreis something special. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much pride and passion goes into everything they do. This isn't just a restaurant; it's a family pouring their heart into their craft. The backstory alone is inspiring -- from perfecting a coffee liqueur recipe years ago to building a full distillery and now a restaurant that's quickly becoming a local favorite. On our visit, we tried a little bit of everything: the legendary Texas Twinkies, hearty Loaded Baked Potatoes, the signature Cedar Rain Sandwich, and the savory Brisket Dip. Every bite tasted like it came from years of practice, care, and a true love of good food. And the drinks? Absolute perfection. The Peach Green Tea Cocktail was bright and refreshing, and the Lavender Lemonade Mocktail was every bit as crafted as a cocktail -- thoughtful, balanced, and locally inspired. What struck me most is how dedicated Cedar Rain is to being part of the Walla Walla community. They've built more than a menu -- they've built a gathering place that celebrates local flavors, family, and connection. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and go. Here's the breakdown Ambiance- pub style with plenty of tvs and great art. Comfortable chairs and table heights, a little chilly for a few of us but temperature is always a preference. Bathrooms were clean and decorated nicely.they have a phone charging station which any other time we may have used lol but it was our first stop in town -10 Service- friendly, average wait on food and drinks. Food- Here's where we get some dings. Great menu choices all around, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, chicken, fish n chips and more. Portions were great! I anticipated my niece wouldn't eat it all so I ordered a side salad and the waitress suggested I order a half garden salad for a little more than lettuce and dressing, great suggestion! All portions were hearty! The onion ring starter was an 8- batter was perfect! Not too much, not too little and tasty, except for the hint of fish, which indicated to me they mix their fryer food. The onion inside was thick and flavorful, not pungent at all. Burger- Everyone loved the flavor of their burgers. The shroom boom has a jam on it that wasn't to my husbands liking and he'd take it off next time as he would love to order it again. The Dynaburget has a little hit, but flavorful. The fries that came with our burgers were a solid 10, crispy outside and soft inside. Everything was hot on service. What we all wished and hadn't caught when we ordered was that our burgers were all cooked to a well temp, and that did leave a bit of a downer for us as we like our burgers medium or medium rare. They didn't have that juicey goodness that we would give a 10, a little dry, and gave it a premade patty feel however it wasn't a premade patty taste so we felt like it was handmade patties. Overcooked and still flavorful, therefore we dropped our overall rating to a 7. Next time we will make sure to share our cook temp preference.
