Every time I've stopped in at whiskey Canyon sports bar near Waitsburg Washington to visit with KENNY he has not been there even though he invites me to come by and say hi thankfully Bailey was there and greeted us seated us provided us with ice water and menus and everything that we ordered was absolutely superb their chili cheeseburger with fresh burger patty homemade chili available daily throughout the year and of course raw onions on top and it's rare to see waffle fries anymore well here at Whiskey Canyon they have your choice french fries waffle fries or tater tots Joe had the BBB Burger and Jordan enjoyed the Maui Burger If you're in or near Waitsburg definitely stop in to Waitsburg Canyon sports bar and ask for KENNY don't worry KENNY won't be there but Bailey will take good care of you pictures below

Stopped in here for a quick bite to break up a long drive. Definitely was not made to feel very welcome. It's a small town and was full of locals. Customer service was mediocre at best. I had the Mediterranean bar bread which was pita bread deep fried with a pesto sauce, sun dried tomatoes and spinach topped with feta cheese. It was probably really good but...there was so much olive oil on it that it was dripping everywhere and kind of ruined the taste. My son had the fish and chips. They were overcooked and some were over spiced and others were bland. I'm guessing that they didn't stir the batter well enough to even out the spices.

I Like the service and a great Location and great parking spaces and thank you for having us

Nice experience! We needed to hurry, and they did. Food is great too. I had chili, my friends had burgers and BLT. Try the onion rings.

This is exactly the hearty lunch after a day of wine drinking that my friends and I were looking…read morefor. There is a lot of seating inside, and a nice patio with umbrellas outside. Our server was attentive throughout our meal. Would come back!

We came here based on 11 year olds whim. We ordered the onion rings, dynablaze burger, boom shroom,…read moreand Texas burgers. Overall we all greed this was a solid 7 choice. Here's the breakdown Ambiance- pub style with plenty of tvs and great art. Comfortable chairs and table heights, a little chilly for a few of us but temperature is always a preference. Bathrooms were clean and decorated nicely.they have a phone charging station which any other time we may have used lol but it was our first stop in town -10 Service- friendly, average wait on food and drinks. Food- Here's where we get some dings. Great menu choices all around, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, chicken, fish n chips and more. Portions were great! I anticipated my niece wouldn't eat it all so I ordered a side salad and the waitress suggested I order a half garden salad for a little more than lettuce and dressing, great suggestion! All portions were hearty! The onion ring starter was an 8- batter was perfect! Not too much, not too little and tasty, except for the hint of fish, which indicated to me they mix their fryer food. The onion inside was thick and flavorful, not pungent at all. Burger- Everyone loved the flavor of their burgers. The shroom boom has a jam on it that wasn't to my husbands liking and he'd take it off next time as he would love to order it again. The Dynaburget has a little hit, but flavorful. The fries that came with our burgers were a solid 10, crispy outside and soft inside. Everything was hot on service. What we all wished and hadn't caught when we ordered was that our burgers were all cooked to a well temp, and that did leave a bit of a downer for us as we like our burgers medium or medium rare. They didn't have that juicey goodness that we would give a 10, a little dry, and gave it a premade patty feel however it wasn't a premade patty taste so we felt like it was handmade patties. Overcooked and still flavorful, therefore we dropped our overall rating to a 7. Next time we will make sure to share our cook temp preference.

To give this review some context, my wife and I support pretty much all of the bars in town...Ten…read morePin, Rick's, Sporty's, Ripple, ML Tap House, Rock Top, Michaels, Paradise, Bob's, Enzo, Danny's...to name a few. This is a small community and the options are somewhat limited to be sure. Every establishment has it's quirks and that's to be expected...we LOVE a good dive bar. After trying to visit and it being closed on a couple of occasions, we finally went to Chilly Mack's for the first (and last) time last night, March 27, 2026 at 8pm. First thing we noticed was the musty smell. There's no carpet in there so you gotta wonder where it's coming from. Next thing we noticed is that there are only 2 other patrons in the entire bar...at 8pm on a Friday night. The barkeep takes our drink order and is quick to deliver. I asked why it's so dead and he said it would be packed after 10pm. (We'd just left Ripple and it was pretty busy.) That's the extent of our interaction with him until we tabbed out. Didn't ask if we wanted food, didn't check to see how the drinks were...all he did the entire time was talk to the two other people there who were obviously his friends. Actually, a couple of younger ladies came in about 10 minutes after we got there, got some drinks and were then ignored like we were. Couple of other things that caught our attention. 1. The menu on the board looked decent for a dive bar...but again, we weren't offered an actual menu or asked if we wanted food. 2. We understand that it isn't named "CHILI MAC'S"...it's CHILLY MACK'S...but wouldn't you wanna play on that and make damned sure you have the best chili mac and/or every viable variation thereof in town? This place has absolutely no identity. 3. There were 6 taps but only 4 being used. 4. Lots of TVs above the bar...that was nice. We finished our drinks, tabbed out and went to Rick's. We got there around 8:30pm and it, just like Ripple, was very busy. Hmmm. It's hard to imagine a drinking establishment (Chilly Mack's) can survive on only being busy after 10pm on a Friday night? With all that being said, we won't be visiting Chilly Mack's again which is very disappointing. We weren't expecting a lot...it IS a dive bar and we knew that going in...but this was not a positive experience. We wish the new ownership the best of luck for the future.
