Delicious, flavorful food! We had a group of 6 and all continue to rave about this spot Our waitress was well knowledgeable on the menu and drinks. She recommended the right amount of food for our group and helped figure out which drinks we'd like. The food itself was so fresh! Can't stop thinking about this place. We were recommended this place by 2 peers and it didn't disappoint. It's also super cute spot to go with friends or on a date.

Soooo amazing!! The drinks, staff, and energy were all perfect. I think about that avocado toast every day.

We were visiting for the weekend and this place was recommended by so many people. The downstairs ambiance was really nice, but we were seated upstairs, where it didn't have quite the same vibe. It was brighter, more open, and honestly felt a bit like the section where they send the "uncool" kids. Also, due to the extremely high ceiling height, it was impossibly loud. * Spicy pepperoni pizza was delicious, and everything tasted fresh--especially the mozzarella. * Carbonara was a standout. Classic Roman-style, with no cream, just a silky sauce from egg yolks and cheese. It was rich, cheesy, and smooth, but surprisingly didn't feel too heavy. * We got the tiramisu to go, and that was a huge miss for us--plus it was $12 for a tiny slice. Service was prompt, but it felt cold. Our server hardly smiled and came across as very robotic. When we asked about the menu or the wine, she gave one- or two-word answers and didn't attempt to elaborate or make any suggestions. While the food was good, we didn't think it was phenomenal, especially given how highly it was recommended.

Stopped in for a cocktail and had the most amazing dirty martini. We didn't eat here but will definitely be back! The food looked and smelled absolutely amazing. Our bartender was lovely and so kind. She gave us some great local recommendations. Highly recommend!

First time at Passatempo and it was amazing start to finish! Christopher our server was awesome! I had the Rigatoni Bolognese and my wife had the Hand Rolled Potato Gnocchi. I highly recommend either dish! The place looks spectacular, I love the vibes in there.

Where do I start? We were recommended to come here by a high-end resort: Abeja Inn. From check-in to bartender to server (Katrina) = impressed. Katrina spent way too much time with us. (Poor girl) telling us everything we needed to know about everything here being freshly prepared, etc. The bar here was so good that next time I come I want to stay close so I can just come to the bar and have a drink and an appetizer The bar menu was so creatively thought out they have drinks that belong in a New York City five star restaurant But we're in Walla Walla friends. Onion ---yes. Food... nope. Not even commenting. COME HERE. TRUST ME.

This is one of those places that locals and tourists alike recommend and I can see why . We arrived around 7:30 PM and were promptly seated in the courtyard .I really appreciated the variety of seating options: cozy booths if you want something intimate, open areas to relax in, more structured formal seating if that's your vibe, and of course, classic bar seating The staff was warm, offered thoughtful suggestions, and even made time for a little friendly chat when their schedule allowed. we started with some cocktails and the Focaccia which came highly recommended. Honestly I wasn't the biggest fan--it didn't feel very "focaccia-like" to me--but it was still good bread. The wine selection is extensive and rich and offers a lot of variety. Next we ordered the carbonara , some Hand rolled Pork and prosciutto meatballs and Burrata & Asparagus Panzanella. Everything tasted stellar and the portions were very good for sharing . I really wanted to get a dessert but apparently 'stomach at capacity' is a real thing . If I had to note a downside, it would be the pricing. The menu items--including cocktails--seemed slightly above average for the city. It felt a bit unwarranted. That said, I would still return.

Everything was really yummy & the service was great! We sat out on the patio. Drinks were also good!

The best dinner I have had in Walla Walla. While everyone's food was fantastic, my favs included the bruschetta, pizza and lasagna. The menu boasts a wide selection of drinks and broad list of antipasti's. Our hosts were helpful and attentive which maximized the experience.

Great food! Never had a bad meal. We've eaten at the bar and enjoyed the bartender's talents, the patio for a nice chill vibe, and upstairs.

Do they take reservations for outdoor dining?

Yes. If they arm booked on ESY, I recommend calling them directly. As they can probably get you a table.

I was in Walla Walla for business yesterday…read more I sell water stuff. There was already water in Walla Walla when I got there but thats not really how the business works. Had a very big day. Met with several people. Shook a lot of hands. Looked at some things. One guy had a map. By about 6pm I had done basically everything a businessman can legally do in one day so I decided to get dinner. Went to TMACS. Sat at the bar because I was by myself and sitting at a table by yourself makes it look like someone is coming. Nobody was coming. The lady gave me the menu. I told her I wasnt very hungry. She recommended the octopus. I said lets do it. I have always respected the octopus because it has 8 arms and still doesnt have a job. Octopus came out. Very good. Charred on the outside. Tender inside. Had some sauce and other things around it. I ate all of those too. At this point I was no longer hungry which had been the original goal. Then she asked what I wanted for dinner. This caught me off guard because I thought the octopus had counted. She recommended the bolognese. I said lets do that too. This is one thing I like about restaurants. You can just keep ordering. Bolognese came out and immediately became a serious situation. Big wide pasta. Rich meat sauce. Parmesan. Everything stuck to everything correctly. I dont know who invented bolognese but they understood that sometimes spaghetti needs more stuff on it. Very good. Halfway through dinner a glass broke. Everybody heard it. For about 2 seconds the entire restaurant became about the glass. Then it wasnt anymore. Incredible recovery. I talked to the staff quite a bit because I was at the bar and thats where they keep the staff. Very friendly people. One of the waitresses told me she had never been outside Walla Walla. I had just driven there from Bend Oregon. Between the two of us we had been to at least 2 places. I told her Bend is nice. She said Walla Walla is nice. We made a lot of progress. Then they started talking about the goat milk cheesecake. I reminded them I wasnt hungry. This information had not helped me earlier and did not help me now. Ordered the goat milk cheesecake. Very good cheesecake. I dont normally know what animal the milk came from when I eat cheesecake so it was nice having that information upfront. Goat did a great job. At this point I had eaten octopus, cow and goat in about 90 minutes. Basically toured the farm. Then I learned the restaurant was originally T. Maccarone's because the founder's actual last name is Maccarone. This guy was born with the last name Maccarone and opened a restaurant with pasta. Sometimes life tells you what to do. If his last name had been Hamburger this could have been a completely different place. Eventually they changed the name to TMACS which is much faster to say. Smart. I paid the bill. Everyone said goodbye. I walked back to my hotel extremely full even though I had entered the restaurant not hungry. That is a 100% increase in hunger elimination. I dont give investment advice but these are strong numbers. Excellent octopus. Excellent bolognese. Excellent goat cheesecake. Excellent staff. Glass situation resolved. Would recommend TMACS to anyone who is in Walla Walla and needs food. If you are not in Walla Walla you will need to get here first. 5 stars.

Your food is incredible, 10/10. A local inn made our reservations. We sat upstairs, Alex was our…read moreserver. His tenderloin was served rare as ordered. My chicken marsala was served without the menu-listed grilled baguette. I asked about that twice. Both times Alex shrugged it off saying maybe the kitchen had run out. Please note we are from California.and maybe things are done differently in Walla Walla? In California, when an item listed in a meal is unavailable, the server tells that to the customer and asks if they still want that menu item. We were not offered a discount. We were not provided with the grilled baguette or a substitute item. We were charged full price. Again, this is not how restaurants operate in California but maybe this is normal for TMACS? Your food is worth the price, but not if it isnt going to be served as represented on your menu. 10 points on the quality of your food, 2 points for misrepresenting your menu.
