We had a good dinner at TMACS during our Walla Walla weekend. We made reservations, and while the restaurant is large and didn't seem completely full, it did seem like one of the go-to dinner spots, so I would recommend a reservation especially as we were in Walla Walla on a slower weekend. The restaurant is dark, modern and chic. Definitely a great date night dinner spot. All the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. We started with the pea bruschetta and this ended up being my favorite thing. The mint was so refreshing and it was such a unique and flavorful dish. For my main entree, I had the duck Ragu which was solid, nothing that blew me away, but an overall good dish. Overall we had a good dinner at TMACS and I would recommend it if you are in the Walla Walla area. read more

Your food is incredible, 10/10. A local inn made our reservations. We sat upstairs, Alex was our server. His tenderloin was served rare as ordered. My chicken marsala was served without the menu-listed grilled baguette. I asked about that twice. Both times Alex shrugged it off saying maybe the kitchen had run out. Please note we are from California.and maybe things are done differently in Walla Walla? In California, when an item listed in a meal is unavailable, the server tells that to the customer and asks if they still want that menu item. We were not offered a discount. We were not provided with the grilled baguette or a substitute item. We were charged full price. Again, this is not how restaurants operate in California but maybe this is normal for TMACS? Your food is worth the price, but not if it isnt going to be served as represented on your menu. 10 points on the quality of your food, 2 points for misrepresenting your menu. read more

Came for HH 2-5 $8 house red wine made by Corliss for TMACS that I thought was good. I don't remember the cost of the beer that BF had. No food. The bartender was nice and friendly and it wasn't too noisy as there were just 2-3 more couples at the bar. It's nice that they have happy hour from 2-5 and it's a nice place to hang out to have a drink. read more

We made reservations on a Saturday evening at 7:15. We came a little early but they sat us down quickly. I got started with a drink that was a grapefruit martini. It was fresh grapefruit juice which was delicious. Also got started with Seared Ahi. The mango salsa was refreshing and I loved the plantain chips that came with it! It was hard to pick a main dish but I settled on the Wild King Salmon, and we also got the Chicken Marsala. The king salmon was to die for. So incredible and everything paired so well together. The sauce, bok choy, everything! I still am thinking about this dish days later. The chicken Marsala was also so delicious, I really enjoyed the chicken and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and I loved the polenta paired with it. All the dishes were so delicious! I would return here again and have the same dishes, but I can't wait to try their other dishes they offer. It's one of the best restaurants I've ever been to! Alex was our server and was bright and fun. All the dishes were presented well and were clearly fresh and assembled with care. We particularly enjoyed the Ahi which was full of fresh salsa and plantains, the subtle Black Sea salt was the perfect touch. The pulpo or octopus was also really well executed and had a nice fresh green garnish with the perfect amount of parsley. I've walked by this place for years without walking in but finally did and was so happy with the choice. The restaurant inside feels modern and beautiful, busy but not packed, with plenty of space between tables. Most places in Walla Walla have good wine selections and this is no exception. Everything my friends and I chose paired well with the food, and the server was knowledgeable and friendly about each one. And speaking of food - it was really the star of the show. We shared the pea bruschetta which was tasty, and also had an amazing bolognese that was hearty and satisfying without being heavy. I've had TMACS on my mind for quite some time. I finally made it over this week while I had a work project in town. And I thankfully made it in time for Happy Hour! I was able to order the Charred Octopus and Wild Salmon wontons on the HH menu. The Charred Octopus was great, not over cooked and chewy, except at the ends. It came with potatoes and a chimichurri, with a spritz of charred lemon for acidity. The Wild Salmon wontons were ok IMO. It was deconstructed, which I didn't expect, so it was a bit hard to eat properly. Then I ordered the Quail stuffed with Chanterelle mushrooms and barley. It was bone-in - and I'm totally fine with that, however it was a bit too salty for my liking. After all those items, I was too stuffed to even attempt dessert! For our last nights dinner in Walla Walla we chose TMACS. Excellent choice. Service was great. We enjoyed a leisurely cocktail prior to ordering dinner. We shared the beet salad which was very tasty. The Bolognese was so flavorful and my husband so enjoyed the pork shank. The other dishes were chicken marsala and black cod albeit this night it was halibut. All arrived hot and we all thoroughly enjoyed everything. You have to end the day with the goat cheesecake with rhubarb. Yummy. Would definitely recommend. read more

Visiting friends from Western Wa and was wowed by our chef prepared farm to table lunch experience at TMACS. Appreciated the server went above and beyond to screen out for food allergies. Know Walla Walla is winery galore but neither one of us drink. I really enjoyed they have a decent selection of mocktails. They are both creative and not overly sweet. The menu has a good variety to suit everyone's palette. We all shared the seared ahi tuna with black lava salt and mango salsa it just woke up our tastebuds.. the plantain chips took it to the next level ... delicious and healthy... My friend, hubby and I loved our lunches. My Mediterranean Lentil with halibut may sound too healthy to be delicious but it was super yummy yet super light and guilt free. Love the half grilled lemon to squeeze over my salad for freshness. My friend and hubs were wowed by the lobster mac and cheese and fettucine primavera. Expertly done. Making reservations was easy online. This was restaurant was located walking distance to our hotel. We got here early but were seated right away. This place was busy. Didn't realize they have an upstairs area as well in addition to outdoor seating. We were seated upstairs which was great. Nice ambience and vibe was good not very loud. Henry was our server who was great. We had nut allergies so he helped curate a menu options to cater. We had the chicken breast stuffed with spinach which was delicious. Chicken wasn't dry. Ahi tuna with the mango salsa was our favorite! It was very flavorful and tuna seared to perfection. Lamb was good and had the right amount of flavor's and so was the halibut. I ordered the cocktail with bourbon, mezcal and tobacco bitters and was buzzing right away! For an appetizer, we ordered the brussel sprouts. They were the most creative and flavorful brussel sprouts ever with apples, pistachios, and more mixed in! For entreés, we ordered the half chicken and lamb chops. The half chicken breast was a little bit dry but overall very flavorful with the cherries and more! The lamb chops were like amazing steak medallions and the Aleppo pepper sauce was not too spicy. For dessert, we had the apricot cheesecake and I think I might have found a new favorite kind of cheesecake! Yum!! We ordered the Brussels sprouts salad which was shared. It was definitely shareable, especially on the lunch menu then we ordered the Wagyu burger and the pastrami Reuben sandwich. Both sandwiches came with fries which were delicious. You could tell that the fries were fresh cut which is why they were so good . Both sandwiches were super good. Came to TMACS with some friends - unfortunately we didn't make a reservation and the tables were full so we sat at the bar. Bartenders were great - friendly, knowledgable, and fairly quick. They had a nice assortment of liquors and the menu had a variety of options - good for both omnivores and vegetarians. I had ordered Pappardelle Bolognese and it was ok - the food definitely took a long time though- we were there for probably almost an hour waiting for our food after we had ordered. I wish I could have tried some of the other items on the menu, but we had already spent more time stopping by for dinner than we had anticipated. If you like rum I'd recommend getting the Bumbu and if you like tequila I'd recommend getting La Gritona. TMACS has been the only restaurant/bar that I've seen that carries these two liquors - I'd come back here for some drinks or happy hour with friends. read more

Wow, I was blown away by this meal. The pork belly appetizer was the best I've ever had. Perfect balance of fatty and crispy and juicy and the flavor was shockingly impressive combined with the apple and bleu cheese. How they fit so much flavor in those tiny apple balls is beyond my comprehension. Followed by the agnolotti and beef tenderloin for the main coarse. My husband and I shared both plates. The beef was delicious and what you would expect. It paired exquisitely with the agnolotti. The pasta...OMG! The sauce was the star of the show but the pasta was a perfect texture and I have to say crispy fried sage is wholly underrated. I paired this with a glass of GSM by Truth Teller and it did not disappoint. We topped off the meal with the blueberry-peach sorbet which was a really refreshing finish. We were visiting from Seattle. First time for us in Walla Walla and we went to this place based on a friend's recommendation. We LOVED this restaurant!!! They had a pianist playing some good music, ambience was just right, service was excellent (staff super friendly), and of course I'm giving this a 5-star rating because the food was delicious (extra points for presentation too)! We had 3 appetizers for the table: calamari (good), English pea bruschetta (surprisingly a nice delight given Im not a big fan of peas), and the seared ahi (wow- the combination of ingredients and flavors here! Love it! You don't want to miss out on this dish). In addition to main meals: Mediterranean mussels (also a surprisingly good meal..I wasn't sure at first how the addition of basmati rice would be in the this but again all the flavors together were just right! Great for spicy lovers) and the lamb chops (I didn't try it because I was stuffed at this point but our colleague who had it definitely enjoyed it). Highly recommended place! Prices good!
